I wonder what would have made gavial frustrated? He'd been spending his posts shouting about how I'm a wolf, he was convinced he was on the right track. I was heavily using sarcasm and whatnot in my responses to him, so what could have made him frustrated.

it's not like I'd rebutted his claims, just called them dumb. I didn't fight back or try to show how I was town, I let him rant and called him a shouty goblin gobshite. If he's so sure he's right what possible source of frustration makes him claim to prove and verify his town bona fides. I think that's what needs to be ruminated on.

I am far more likely to start day two moderately fresh eyed and review the NK ISO for interactions, and that might be all the looking at day one that I do here. I'm sure that bouncing day one interactions against some vote movements and flips will provide a solve long about day three-four, and if I am alive at the time that'll be fine.

I'm kinda thinking that Esooa's accumulation of town reads coupled with my known capacity to lay waste to a wolf team if I get a few flips to work with will have me dead before I have to do any work, so save me a seat in dvc.

my presence there is entirely dependent on the existing population ;-)

As much as I believe that Gavial is town, I want to add that I did tell him that pushing you the way he did would not get any sort of useful reaction from you.

That being said, I think it's more of a case of him not caring if he derailed the thread more than actively attempting to do so tbh.

It's funny to me that he was fundamentally right, I'm not town, but also he's fundamentally wrong, I'm not a wolf.
Nor would I hesitate to make the posts he wolf read as town, which is part of the reason I got upset with him.

It's at this point that I normally like to look at the setup:

17 players naturally falls out as 13 town and 4 wolves. If HK is claiming 3p then that suggest 12/4/1 (which feels like it is slightly anti-town) or 13/3/1 (which feels too anti-scum). Or there are two 3ps. I have played in two Syn games before and he didn't use 3p in either of those

@hollowkatt - can you clarify are you hard claiming 3p as there seems to be some uncertainty?

I mean I did say in my claim post that I was hard claiming 3p, so yes, I'm still 3p

I don't mind agreeing to policy the slot later on todag but we have more than a full 24 hours and I'd prefer we don't waste the day just parked on a 3p claim

I'm always voting HK no matter what. Any vote elsewhere would be symbolic at best. I'm down to talk about my suspicions for D2.

I'm down with that (and will more than likely vote HK before EoD myself unless I'm very confident I have a wolf).

My issue is that half of the players in the game are already coasting hard and I don't want to let a lot of these people drop a policy vote on the 3p claim and do no other solving for the rest of the phase.

Tbh the whole situation tanked my WIM too.

Objectively I'm the only chop that should be considered today when we get to the end of the day.

My advice would be, if you are town, make real reads and real pushes towards people you think are wolves so that there's things to build on D2. If you're a wolf obvs that advice changes, but only superficially lol
