Well I think TC and TH should still claim, but yeah, nook should probably not clarify if he's tracker or watcher, and no other claims should happen since some kind of mass soupkill is one of the main ways we lose from this position.

Was there talk of a mafia roleblocker earlier, due to townie people being roleblocked? Is that accounted for on the days that tutuu checked nova/kyle?

I think if nook/tutuu/kylemii/nova are all town then we have legitimate auto?

He actually picked me as the first bargain target because I correctly called him out as 3P lol.

To confirm their identity I asked them to write a post that started with the phrase "personally, I think", and he wrote a post like "personally, I think dinner is the best meal" or something like that. He wanted me to take tier 3 and try to suicide a scum but I was too sus of traps to do that so I came up with my GD plan.

I promised to wait for objections in BTSC but I really can't see the downside so I'll just do it now.

Actually it is kind of weird that sprityo just slaps "one-shot can't be exed" on two scum. It's not a very fun mechanic because they're just going to get exed again tomorrow but I guess it's a way of balancing out the plethora of town PR that we get + the Obliterator screwing them over even if they win.

GD claims to me that they've fulfilled their win condition now and plan to chill and townside. I don't think we ever exe them, but it might be correct to out them. I don't think they can offer any more deals once their win con has been achieved (nor should people take any deals offered in case of *shenanigans*), and they don't count for parity, so if Obliterator kills them it's fine with us right?

Yeah, that's a good point.

So Thundercat can "survive the first attempt on their life" and Myo is unexeable at least once. I don't believe both are town here.

i made it abundantly clear that he was scum. i had his exact role. i hinted at it pretty hard, voting him for no reason, starting the day with "poly scum" and voting him repeatedly. i didnt reazlie dead ppl get janitored. so i left hints.

no result. i thought this meant i was roleblocked so i didnt hint. it took me time to realize that me getting no result could mean i got roleblocked, but could also mean i peeked town. but he's mech clear town unless i was redirected / godfather shenanigans

Re: the stuff about Falcon being contacted by the GD - they did not bargain with Falcon the night he died, so it wasn't their fault.

GD informs me that they've fulfilled their win condition today. Should we exe them to be safe or find mafia? I'm leaning towards the latter atm because if 2 kills a night keeps happening our lead might shrink fast.

We're not doing a massclaim until we know exactly how the Obliterator works. We also have no idea what the unknown 3P does - in Radiohead there was a scum role that punished mass claiming and a 3P role that also tried to collect town roles.

Also my strategy this game has literally been "set up the GD thing, assemble a towncore, then slank and sheep nutella". That's just not a winning strategy if I am scum. If I am scum here I need to power wolf and redirect the exe to some townies to swing the game back into my favor. It's what I did after a poor scum opening in Mysterious Universe. Instead I farm out my vote to nutella which is just townsiding like crazy if I am scum.

No, I only softed in Mysterious Universe because I had no idea that town knew there was a lost wolf. Softing in this context is much more risky because people do know that a lost wolf exists. Also like nanook says, Martin brought it up not me.

I haven't thought about him much. I'm skimming through most of the thread and just picking out stuff that jumps out to me as AI. If I can't find any AI stuff they go in the POE by default. We have enough of a lead that we can afford to just do that. Kylemii is one such person.

Mac has townsided way too hard if he's scum, voting mafia members, calling for fake Obliterator attempts on his life, etc. I thought nanook had some decently townie posts earlier (I'll dig them up if you really want) so I have him in the upper POE right now. I can't remember fully honestly. I think it was something along the lines of check to see if towncore people or scummy people were recruited, if towncore people were recruited then we would know that mafia didn't know who MR was, and would thus think of him as a viable counterwagon to save a teammate.

I don't want to think too hard about this game I'm fairly sure we just have auto unless something stupid happens so I'm just going to sheep nutella again.

NIK probably looks good off the gamestate actually. He was run up as a counterwagon to scum twice, and the people who were starting to flip on him being town were killed.

Okay I'm just going to admit it. I'm going to slank for a bit and just vote whoever nutella's voting. Finals week is coming up and we're enough ahead this game (and have a bunch of town power) that it just feels like Radiohead where we literally just go through the POE and not think too hard. I tend to drop off in these situations and coupled with the IRL stuff it means my WIM is fading.

If someone can keep me appraised of important stuff (claims, mech situations, etc.) that I need to be aware of, let me know.

I don't think you understand how good clearing 2 people from the POE for free is. It helps town so much.

1) I think NIK is scum.
2) Most people think NIK is scum.
3) I don't think his posts are particularly genuine or clearing.
4) Therefore if NIK is town he should use his shot on someone else he thinks is town since he's ~never getting out of the POE and he can take down a scumread with him.

Why wouldn't you take that option if you're town? You're in the POE and frankly, you're bottom POE. Why not blow yourself up along with your strongest scumread, and allow town to know that you're for real and your reads are correct, rather than make us waste a day exeing you?

Did you read my plan at all? Your job is to ascertain the GD's identity, through a coded post or similar, so that you can hold them accountable if something untoward happens to me or nutella, because we don't know that there isn't a trap in the GD's role.
