At the time he left the thread I was looking like the most likely counterwagon he could hope for. He'd been going after me all game anyway so was hoping for that mislynch to gain traction over his wagon.

I'm not bad and you are reading into things in a way that doesn't really make sense. I can see the theory for sloonei though, but I'm not convinced he's more likely than sabie.. yet. Still time to think about that though.

I just find it really hard to believe that there was only one scum on DDL's counter-wagon at MYLO

Almost like Sloonei knows SVS is bad because they are teammates. He ties her to me, we lynch me, then he can say, "Guess I was wrong about SVS too..." OR, SVS gets lynch first (somehow), and Sloonei can then go back to this to campaign for a townie lynch.

Also I think it's concerning how Luna and sabie are going after you after I and a couple other people brought you up as a possibility. I think they may be trying to save ddl. So for various reasons I am feeling much better about lynching ddl than lynching you.

I don't blame luna. I just think she's a shady looking person that's not DDL.

The big push against DDL in general has me second guessing the suspicion against him. Luna is an alternative.

Sloonei's "And SVS is her teammate" feels like so much TMI.

If it's not nutella, it has to be Sloonei. If scum could have kept one of their own from being lynched on Day 5, they could have won the game. Which means at this point it would make no sense not to go all in on a counter-wagon despite how scummy it looks. DDL didn't seem to be around to change his vote, so it was left up to the remaining scum to save the day. We already know SVS was one, and she happily joined the DDL counter-wagon. It has to be between Sloonei and nutella. Sloonei actually voted me first because he was paranoid that the DDL wagon was "too easy." Nutella was quick to engage him and jump on it though, as was SVS.

Ah, SVS voted for luna Day 1 and luna seems to have taken offense. I guess I like that. The second post is intriguing. At face value, it looks a bit weak for luna to give in to peer pressure like that, but now knowing that SVS was bad, I find myself doubting that luna would give in to phony pressure from a teammate on this issue. If she was going to orchestrate a vote change onto a known civilian, she wouldn't wait for or need her teammate to prompt her.

None of this reads like teammates interacting. SVS seems legitimately provoked by luna's vote, and luna seems to be sincerely progressing through her read.

This is probably the one weird point I can find. DDL was cruising to a lynch. I switched to luna for an alternative. Then I switched to SVS, and luna responded with a bit of shock. She'd been at least mildly suspicious of SVS since early in the game, and now I was presenting an opportunity to lynch her (rather than luna herself).
The flipside of this is that the response doesn't really make sense for baddie luna either. I think it's more likely that she was just confused by my abrupt switch.

She explains the read here, but it's a little concerning that luna started to resist the SVS wagon a bit as it was gaining momentum. I don't think this outweighs the earlier interactions, but it's enough that I'm not calling luna a slam dunk town. Civilians can have second thoughts and I don't hold that against her, I just need to keep an open mind here.

Her change of heart came late, here and here. I don't think this looks like an unnatural progression, but it's possible luna is just a stellar actress. I find it more likely she just went through all the stages of civilian paranoia that come with a high pressure lynch scenario.

That is indeed a very strange progression. I had completely forgotten that I thought SVS could be bad yesterday. It's been a long day away from mafia, guys.

I am sure other people have split votes, I did not pay alot of attention to the vote analysis (I think they are useless without vote order, especially with changeable votes) but you pulled out me and the other person you suspect and found a way to tie us together. I don't like to role claim (I didn't start vanilla, but I essentially am vanilla now) but I will if I must.

Today, reading DDL, Chuck and rereading Nutella again, I am having issues getting past both Epi and Mac dying (especially given Epis role)

DDL was a 2-shot role that could function perfectly fine as a civilian ability. Role claiming is allowed, and Jay is our host. He wouldn't make the game so easy that anyone can clear themselves just by suggesting they have a certain role.

So you think she could have been claiming DDL's ability? I don't remember the circumstances of her claim. Was she under lynch pressure?

Only concern is I'm not sure if DDL was openly aligned with the mafia, or if he just shared their win condition, and didn't know their identity.

You seem to be forgetting that scum mates sometimes buss each other for town cred. At this late in the game, it's not a bad idea to get your teammate lynched and come out looking good.
This late in the game, one mislynch could very well end it.
Agreed. I just don't want to reason out of a DDL lynch if he's actually bad. And I think there's good evidence that he is. If he is bad and a teammate started pushing for a different lynch, and he gets lynched anyways, it would out most of the team. Which is why the lynch could be "right" and also "easy"
For the sake of argument, let's pretend he is town. Who do we lynch instead?

Why blame luna more than g-man or anyone else for that matter? If anything I think Luna looks bad for pushing speed and then going back to ddl, so I think she and ddl are potential teamies. Do you think ddl is town?
I don't blame luna. I just think she's a shady looking person that's not DDL.

The big push against DDL in general has me second guessing the suspicion against him. Luna is an alternative.

So speed started off going after inactives which is always a good way to mislynch someone so not a great idea early in the game. He speculates on how many mafia members there are. He says he will vote ddl but quickly changes to reywas who ended up being civ. Maybe ddl is a teammate he didnt really want to vote for but had to seem like he was going to. So I can see where the suspicion comes from.

sabie sure was quick to join my vote on speed. Don't know if I like that too much. I'm switching to DDL though for now because he did look suspicious with the nutella push, and speed posted DDL's quotes in such a way that just really condemns the guy.
