I'd like to hear more about these reads at least briefly. I screwed up the code when I snipped, so the shades of colors might be different.

The Doc: One of the only players I've ISO'd because his post history is small enough to without wanting to bang my head against the wall. I think he looks like a genuine example of someone trying to keep up with people he's never played with before and nothing he's said has pinged me. And I find the case on him beyond arbitrary.
Mac: I don't feel confident on my ability to read Mac either way. I've mostly agreed with what he's posted this game. Not putting much stock in the early posts he made when on vacation like some people seem to have done.
The Dragon: I've felt a bit uneasy about him without having any real reason to this entire game. I have him as yellow but I can get onboard with Mac's recent case.
sig: I dunno, I tried ISOing and got bored, couldn't explain myself, so I'm probably full of shit. I remember thinking there was something weird about his assertion that the rabbit kill meant scum was probably a syndicate veteran or a pegasus knight, cuz it really doesn't make sense to me to include pegasus knight in that, and if that's actually a syndicate tradition that's really weird.
ArrDeeDubbleyou: Surprise, surprise, he's all over the place. Clearly does not stand by anything he says beyond the point at which he says it. An easy style to play as scum cuz no one can hold you accountable, and he has the meta to get away with it. I see no reason to trust him.
Kites: Bad feeling about a couple posts I pointed out earlier where it looks like he's subtly trying to fish for info. One asking about gender and one where he gives a little thing in verse that doesn't look like it relates to anything.

I know this isn't helpful, but I have a few questions just to get my bearings. Please be concise.

1. How does this recruitment thing on the main page work?

2. If Sig and Lapluie are public members of badguyia, shouldn't we lynch them?

3. What's the difference between Rico's and Epi's civ things? Is Rico actually playing?

4. . . . anything else I should know as someone who hasn't followed the thread for more than five minutes?

5. Why am I replacing Dunya?

1. It's already done. We started from one randomized player who took turns drafting another player to fill one of the roles publicized in the OP. There are some theories suggesting otherwise, but in general it was done by players who were active at the time asking for roles, and the drafter (usually) giving them what they wanted.

2. JOH has confirmed that being from Badguyia =/= being scum, nor does being from Goodguyia = being town.

3. We don't really know yet. As someone familiar with Fire Emblem, it looks like flavor, but it could probably come into play later.

4. Probably.

5. She mentioned a big work assignment or something and probably doesn't have the time for mafia.

There are already way too many posts in this game for me to even think about trawling back through them. I've read it all, but there's just so much it's going in one ear and out the other.

He claims to have misdirected someone else iirc.

I'm about to go out, but I made it like half way through his ISO. I think he looks relatively good. I understand the Colin vote day one although I didn't agree with the case against him at the time. I'm not into lynching lurkers so early in the game, and that's what he seemed to be trying to move towards at the point I made it to, but maybe he plays it like that. Slight town read.

They're different roles regardless.

I don't think there's any way for us to know. My position right now is, why go after Tony when we know for a fact he didn't send in a kill or do anything other than what he claims to have done?

Yeah, I'm not saying it absolves him but I think it's worth noting because he'd probably have other powers if he was scum, and he didn't say anything besides that part in his PM to JOH.

The names of the scum roles are listed in the OP. There's one for each finger of the hand. He ID'd the ring finger last night and we can now see what part of that role's powers are. My night action corroborates this, and also seems to show that IDing the Ring Finger was the only thing he PM'd JOH about last night.

Ok, so I can't be bothered to go back and look this up, but I've seen it referenced a few times. Did Dr. White try to draft Iron Dwarf at a random time when it was not his turn to choose, and then a long time later draft a different player? Cuz if that's the case I don't see there actually being much to it cuz the rest of us were just picking based off who was active at the time anyway. Am I missing something?

I am 100% town, and would like to look town. Seeing you post that about Marmot made me realize that that could be a ping and I had just done it. Townies appearing like they are doing scummy things causes mislynches. I do not want to be mislynched because I am town.

dunya, has your life changed for the better since joining Rico's army? Or at all for that matter?

I think the reasoning that scum wouldn't kill a Pegasus Knight because of the triple attack thing is interesting, but more WIFOM than accurate. Cuz how likely would it actually be for three players to have a consensus IN THREAD pick for who to night kill and have it actually work out with all the misdirection and blocking roles in this game? Unless two of them are scum, I just cannot see that happening. Not necessarily saying the other two are doing this, but killing rabbit seems like an easy way for a scum peg knight to absolve themself, especially with how vocal these two have been about "protecting their pegasus sisters."

This was TonyStark’s PM last night. Which lines up perfectly with what happened. If he was scum he probably would have had some other power, but then again it may be a passive one.

Sheer curiosity. Do you know what happens when a player joins Rico's army? Cuz I don't. When I saw that we could recruit the players from Badguyia it caught my eye. And I would like the wyvern rider on our side rather than scum's of course, even more so than other roles.
