Re: WWE MAFIA - Day 12

I had a long few days at work (including one seventeen hour day, yuck!) and am way behind. Going to catch up now.

Edit: Wrong game!! So very sorry!

Re: WWE MAFIA - Night 5

I don't feel any better about her than before, but I feel more strongly about TH. I suppose this is due to not catching up well so I don't recall anything from Lizzy since the last time I voted her.

Re: WWE MAFIA - Night 5

Yes, in a lynch where votes were obviously not unified the best shot of unifying enough voters to save him would be to vote out someone who is clearly not participating. It would have been their best shot to save him and still try to avoid being obvious.

Re: WWE MAFIA - Night 5

Ok, as I read the unfolding lynch of MP Turnip Head's crusade to get WOG lynched instead of MP really jumped out at me. It looked very much like he was trying to save a teammate...
Turnip Head wrote:I believe MP to be civ and don't really want to see him lynched. I'll be voting WOG. No posts and no votes, I'd rather lose WOG on a 50/50 chance of being baddie than lose MP, who's making contributions and while it may not have led to anything yet, I do want to give him more time to help us find baddies. Plus I don't believe DFaraday answered the question of whether or not WOG was looking for a replacement. While I don't want to make assumptions based on the lack of a host post, My gut is telling me that WOG is a baddie who couldn't be replaced by an undead BWT. If other people are feeling like MP is worth saving but don't know who else to vote for, I offer WOG as an alternative for your vote. Not much, but meh, that seems to be the story of this game so far.

It would be a shame to lynch the most active player in the thread for not much at all, especially when there seems a decent number of people who believe that he's innocent. But he could be baddie scum for all I know. I just really don't want to lose another civ today.

For what it's worth, I fight just as hard for my life when I'm civvie as when I'm baddie. I'm pretty sure I've seen MP do the same. I don't know why anyone wouldn't.
Then this exchange looked extremely canned to me...
MovingPictures07 wrote:I'm curious to hear what TH has to say, honestly.

Linkitis: Lol, good timing.

Interesting. I don't disagree with your WOG sentiment here; in fact, I empathize. However, you don't find that anyone who currently has votes is worth voting for instead?
Turnip Head wrote:Not really MP. Out of the people who currently have votes the only one I have any suspicion of is Boomslang, and I can't even really articulate my suspicion of him, let alone vote on it. While I feel strongly that you are civ, I also don't want to vote on a half-assed suspicion to save you and potentially cause a different civ to get lynched instead. I don't really feel bad about losing WOG though... She is likely not using her role if she's civ, and it's been two weeks since the game started. I really don't think she intends to play.

Point well-illustrated.

I'm still holding my vote though because I obviously don't know what's going to happen.

Linkitis: Ahhhh!! More vote spread! While I understand both WOG and Sorsha votes... actually more so than most of the others who have 1 vote, this is scaring me. Definitely still holding my vote.
Turnip Head wrote:I'll say that I like my completely circumstantial, no actual evidence case on WOG more than I like the case on Sorsha. I feel that Sorsha is one of the most mis-read players in the game Not unlike MP. Although she's definitely not as talkative :P
MovingPictures07 wrote:Dammit, I didn't necessarily PLAN on staying up until past midnight.

And what you say TH is precisely why I've been so wishy washy on Sorsha.
Then this after the flip post read like scrambling to cover his butt...
Turnip Head wrote:Wow, that might have been the craziest lynch I've ever been a part of. I guess this is where I hand in my badge and scumradar. MP had me fooled pretty well. Good job those of you who saw through him, we finally got a baddie!
Just watching all this play out, my gut was positively screaming that these guys were on a team together. I will likely vote TH tomorrow I think.

Also, I think it is funny you all thought I had info. I did not have info. I voted MP for exactly the reasons I said I did. If my post seemed short and to the point it was because I was tired and too lazy to go find my iPad so I posted from my smart tv, which took forever for those just short little posts.

Anyway, that is my two cents.

I worked a twelve hour day today and quite frankly I am tired. Voting now without catching up. Going with Alex because I know we are going on vacation soon and he won't have as much time then.

P.S. I feel confident MP is wrong about lou because I believe her to be civ

Just caught my eye because it seems like some of them could just be trying to fly low and throw votes onto an easy target, knowing she was probably going to be lynched no matter what.
I was wondering how long I was playing Mafia, and I looked up my first game at LP, Martian Mafia. Out of this whole big 30 player list, and that whole big 30 player list, only you, me & Turnip head played all three. Lots of people come and gone, eh? I got killed like Night One I think, lol.
Wow, what a stat! I believe I died on Night 1 of that game too lol. My first game was The Office mafia on LP, almost 4 years ago. I think of this player list, only Daisy and I were in that one :O
Lol. That was my first game too TH! Now compare your number of wins to mine and it quickly becomes apparent which one of us is better at this game and it sure isn't me. I thought I was in Martian Mafia too, but died early. Maybe I am mixing up my games though. I thought I was the Sheriff role. Was that a Scocub game?

On topic, I second MP's thoughts. We just got back from Detroit so I am too tired to properly give thoughts, but I will try to do so tomorrow evening.

Re: WWE MAFIA - Day 2

Ok, Epi and Elo backing each other up is oohing new and I don't see any reason that this is anymore suspicious than normal. In other words, I don't find them suspect for this.

I don't find Mongoose all that suspicious, even if I don't get what exactly happened. I do however find Lizzy's votes this game to be continuously convenient. First she self voted day 1, then she voted for the person who a bandwagon seemed to be gearing up against. I just am not feeling good about Lizzy at all. Therefore my vote is going to her today again.

It frequently got him lynched when he argued so much against the use of the randomizer. :p Go figure, MP being loud and getting himself lynched. ;)

Re: WWE MAFIA - Night 1

Most people who are voting randomly use this site: http://www.random.org/lists/

But I agree with you in general, I don't care for random votes, but I don't hold it against anyone either. This is an argument that frequently occurs in our games on Day 1 lol

Re: WWE MAFIA - Day 1

I meant to properly catch u and vote tonight, but I fell asleep because my ear was hurting and laid down earlier. I am concerned now that I may be coming down with an ear infection... What is going on with my health this month, it is just getting ridiculous!

Anyway, looking at the poll I think this does not look good for civs. No one has more than two votes?! I think I will vote for a self voter this round since I am not appealed by any of the people who have two votes at the moment...

This made me giggle. This far I have not noticed anything distinctly Baddie about his play style, but to be honest, it is early yet in the game and he works extra hard to try and fool me, lol.
