Just saying that you and Esooa are mean gals that play very similar. As such I feel like if Esooa died due to something resolving around Playstyle I feel like the same could potentially happen towards you.
What makes you think she died because of her playstyle? You think the mafia got annoyed with her constant complaints and shot her?

Re: Fallout 2: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game [Day 2]
I explained slightly more in a subsequent post I think. The reason Esooa being absent stuck out to me was I was trying to figure out how I would pass those thoughts off as my own naturally. So I was reading and re-reading it, and it just hit me that Esooa was not in that list, so I went back to look over the power of the role that was being claimed. Since there was no way Luke would know Esooa was going to die, it seemed like the baddies had forgotten that detail and omitted her from the list of players they wanted me to talk about. It seems to you like I was being paranoid and how would anyone notice, but the answer is you don't on the first reading, but after you are going over it like five or six times and trying to decide how you would do what it asks it dawns on you.Urist wrote: ↑Thu Mar 04, 2021 8:47 pmSloonei wrote: ↑Thu Mar 04, 2021 8:40 pmI thought it was at least partially clear from the context of the conversation around the claim that Daisy had received a limited list of players which should have included Esooa but did not. I do not remember specifics, but it seemed like the focus was on the BoKnows wagon.Urist wrote: ↑Thu Mar 04, 2021 8:35 pm for context, the reason i was pressuring chop to summarize his message is because i thought it was suspicious that spacedaisy was able to pick out the fact that esooa was missing from a reads list.
like if i get a list of 24 people, i'm not checking to make sure each and every one of them is there.
if chop had said something like "i said x, y, z, a, b, c were town and d, e, f, g were mafia and h, i, j, k, l, m, n, o, q were null" i would be really suspicious of the daisy/chop potential big brain play.she didn't mention anything like that noSpacedaisy wrote: ↑Thu Mar 04, 2021 2:16 am Yo, to whoever sent me the message last night, I don't know why I should trust you. See you slipped up and skipped over Esooa in your recap. How did you Esooa was gonna die last night and not be relevant to the conversation? If you were Luke you wouldn't have known. I call bullshit on your message and your attempt to solicit a role claim from me.

If this team is functioning like a normal team should, that message would have been peer reviewed in the team chat before it got sent out. Somebody should have noticed that Esooa's name was missing.
I feel like you would also be in that camp, along with spf. Ordinarily I'd say Epi, but I feel like he's taking it easy in this game regardless of alignment, so I don't know if he'd doublecheck his student's teammate's work for obvious errors right now. Something tells me nanook would be on alert.
Mac would be crafty enough to come up with the plan, but based on his thread presence he might not be tuned in enough to check the message before sending it out. I feel similar about LC and Marmot.
I don't know enough about the scum games of everyone else to say how they'd handle having that role in the hands of a teammate.
I don’t know what Chop would do though.

Re: Fallout 2: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game [Day 2]
If you fucked up like that as mafia, Would your first instinct be to claim it in the thread instantly? Or would it be to go into your wolf chat and freak out to your teammates? At what point would it make sense for a wolf chop to claim that? It doesn’t. It doesn’t make sense for a town chop to do it either, but town tend to act more out of frustration when things go down hill because they don’t have a team to talk to and figure out what to do.Poison wrote: ↑Thu Mar 04, 2021 2:46 ami still don't understand why chop is town from this.Spacedaisy wrote: ↑Thu Mar 04, 2021 2:42 amYes, the omission is what made me believe it was someone posing as Luke, they specifically mentioned the Brotherhood, so that was why I said I don’t believe they are Luke.Sloonei wrote: ↑Thu Mar 04, 2021 2:37 amOn the other hand: Esooa was (I believe) almost certainly killed by the Enclave. Chop is town I think.
The Enclave has access to one of three potential roles in the game capable of sending an anonymous private message to a player.
This would be a convoluted and unfortunate coincidence if Chop is one of the two potential town roles with that ability.
There was no good reason for Chop to claim that. Not for town or mafia. The difference is, town are more likely to throw in the towel in a moment of frustration or upset (like the realization their carefully crafted message had blown up in their face because they accidentally overlooked someone). Mafia are more likely to try and find a way to cover. In this case, all Chop had to do was not own up to sending it. No one but Jay and Chop would know.
So Sloonei, which do you think this was?
I need a break. will be back later.

I wish this were true. It’s been a long time since I played an epic gambit.

Re: Fallout 2: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game [Day 2]
Yes, the omission is what made me believe it was someone posing as Luke, they specifically mentioned the Brotherhood, so that was why I said I don’t believe they are Luke.Sloonei wrote: ↑Thu Mar 04, 2021 2:37 amOn the other hand: Esooa was (I believe) almost certainly killed by the Enclave. If your initial theory is true, the sender of the message omitted Esooa by mistake because they knew she was going to end up dead.Spacedaisy wrote: ↑Thu Mar 04, 2021 2:33 am I can't see a strong mafia reason to immediately understand what I'm saying with partial info that I gave, and to out themself as the sender when I said I believed they were bad.

Re: Fallout 2: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game [Day 2]
Yeah Sloon I already looked over that trying to figure out if there was some way a town would know that Esooa might die. I couldn't see one so the omission of Esooa among instructions about what I should say about Bo voters looked bad. But Chop's response doesn't look bad.

Re: Fallout 2: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game [Day 2]
Why would CHop make the claim immediately? If they were wolf it would be wiser to stay hidden, because overlooking Esooa in the message seemed like a sure sign to me this was someone who knew Esooa wouldn't be around today. But if that were the case Chop wouldn't need to claim any of it.ChopChop wrote: ↑Thu Mar 04, 2021 2:30 amMhm.TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Thu Mar 04, 2021 2:28 am Chop essentially claimed the letter that SD got. SD said that she thought her letter was sent by a wolf. I have no idea if any of this is plausible yet but by this point
Which is false thus why I claimed now so people don’t jump the gun later.

I'm not sure what to do with this. I didn't expect someone to claim they sent the message... I expected to drop this into the thread and see how people reacted. Outing themself was not what I imagined would happen though. ![Sigh :sigh:](./images/smilies/sigh.gif)

I have no clue what is happening in here. I had to spend all last night doing homework. And I will have to tonight as well. Also I’m at work until the time the day ends. Can anyone catch me up on the story with the current wagons?

I hate seeing my typos. I'm sorry guys, I have thyroid issues that have affected my mental focus, so little things like that slip by me. I miss words in sentences or spell them incorrectly. Don't hate me Epi, I already hate myself for it.
Anyway, if anything I say is unclear just let me know.

Re: Fallout 2: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game [Day 1]
I mean I understand what he's saying, but I think it's misplaced. I can at once say, "I think everything you just said is crap, but I would at least like to see how the other person respond to it" There is nothing suspicious in that to me. the more people talk to easier it is to get reads on them. I don't think it was a case worth following. Even if I think it originated with a civ.Dom wrote: ↑Mon Mar 01, 2021 2:39 amDo you understand this business about KZA then?Spacedaisy wrote: ↑Mon Mar 01, 2021 2:36 amHis reads look natural, and he looks like he's actually trying despite using a gimmick.
