like I'm not entirely convinced that you have actually read the beginning of day 3 because I feel like the context of that post is abundantly clear and it also clearly has nothing to do with me trying to slow the thread down because I think nanook might have mech info

like also the thing I did on day 3 to try to slow the game down was play hangman and make it abundantly clear that made claiming was the number one priority which was pro town

besides for like: nanook literally had asked about the discussion at hand. there are about a bajillion possible things he could have done with an invention. I have no reason to believe that's info from that.

Besides for also: you are assuming that I know that Nanook has info and that I was trying to slow down the thread because I knew that nanook has info. However, this presupposes that I gave him an invention! if I didn't, I couldn't know that he had info :P

I think you're talking about the post where I said that everyone should take a minute to look over their roles, which again. Was before Nanook had claimed anything mechanical. You're also going to come across a post where I say that the only order of business for the day should be made claiming in response to nook's mech claim, however, I suspect that you'll ignore that one.

Perhaps, but I think for at least the first few hours of the day that Nook claims mech, we should probably NOT focus on that, and instead revisit roles, and alignments, make sure that town is targeting town, and all those other good things.

Or should we not spend a few hours looking that over... when the person that you should know has mech info... outs mech info?

If TSP was town right now, he would have mentioned that he was worried that I (someone he should see as outed scum) might outplay him and get Urist to vote him. TSP is viewing the game with TMI on me (any town player's first concern in this situation would be their biggest scumread (me) convincing the other person they are correct, not that their scumread might be wrong (this could be a secondary concern, but not their first concern)).
I am currently not concerned by this at all but I didn’t know how to say this without being insulting

So he did. Sorry, my last few days IRL was very hectic, and when I realized this game was ongoing yesterday(gameday), I just voted sleep, and didn't follow much (I mean, I read the posts, but I didn't really think at all about the game, or apparently even look at what Jack flipped...).

Honestly think this looks even worse for you though, since Jack's fakeclaim SHOULD have been your role. You switched fakeclaims. Not all of them line up, but the fact that Chop fakeclaimed the role he did, the fact that Alison fakeclaimed the role she did, and things like the Redding doc being clear cover for the other slaver role really point to roles being matched up.

Earlier when you posted Marmot's NK data, in your analysis you labeled the possibility that scum shooting Alison as unlikely, but you didn't label the possibility of scum intentially blocking their own shot as unlikely... chasing a bit of a tinfoil here, but is that like... something that people do? I am relatively new to mafia (probably about 15 games or so), so idk if that is like a known strategy or not.
I think I labeled that possibility as conspiratorial. It defies probability in a sense, but yes I would also characterize that as unlikely.

idk, you're right, we were all pretty unified on where we stood by the end. But I would think that urist would be more of a loose cannon than marmot

i was probably leaning towards voting for marmot for most of the first half of the day, urist basically didn't show and would be essentially a wild card. marmot had a pretty defined tilt.

You talking about Marmot feels dirty since it seems pretty clear you killed him since Urist was more set on me than Marmot (who was suspicious of me, but made it clear he was going to re-evaluate everything today and hadn't done his due diligence on you yet).
i uh don't think this is a reasonable assessment of where marmot was in the thread by the end of yesterday
