I began as the seer. I did not know what I ended up as. I checked some of the unused roles to begin with.
My plan was to claim late so that I could contradict some lying wolfies. I operated knowing that I was LIKELY town, but didn't play all of my cards up front. When Kylemii and TH claimed, I believed them. I had already seen two of the unused roles, including the minion, and nobody else was disputing Kylemii's claim.
So I used what I had. I knew the minion was unused, so I claimed that Kyle had it and that the troublemaker was unused. The claim fit the facts perfectly, since nobody else knew that the minion was unused.
I played adaptively, ready to either trip up a liar or make up something to defend myself. That is why I did not claim everything early on.
Unfortunately, I was the one with experience in this game, as was pointed out. And so if either me or Kylemii was pulling a gambit that made perfect since, it made more sense for it to be me.
Also even when I'm town, I'm scum. It was well-played by all.
