So this afternoon, I came in saw a convo about blocking me and kinda went off a bit, said fuck this restriction!

No offense @Dubz I'm sure you're an awesome Sloth, but I am not sure I can or do believe your claims that my post limit is *7* or that it results in a role block, or whatever else. So I grew up and decided to try and work with it. So I have 2 posts left lol. I still may break it, but at this stage I'm not sure I totally trust the outed 'could be a baddie someday" person or her motivations.

Also tbh, when i played alot of role madness, being the curser always was my favorite role, and it took a bit of the shine off of it when people tried to play the curse and tried to find a way around it. So I prefer not to do so myself if at all possible. But today is kinda important gamewise, and I don't want to blow it.

The case that she is unconverted makes sense, and is probably true, but i really really dislike, maybe even loathe, that little question mark grouping at the end.

I have no plans to vote Dubz today, but I also have no plans to trust her, or take her word for the effects of her block.

Yeah, plus Tutuuu had that other death message. And if it was death, i would hope the host would tell me when I tried to get consequences of failing out of him. I would hope, lol, but maybe not.

Right now, even though i reeeeeaaaaly want to vote for Dubz, I won't. I prolly wouldn't if she hadn't cursed me the day after I had already been cursed. I was pretty salty about that.

I think Mata could be the other sin, but that Mac theory was so town matahari. But I also think Mata isn't much engaged, I think she's just trying to stay alive until something hopefully happens. Falcon has been poisoned, and I don't think any civ who may have had poison has any real reason to poison him, so It's baddie poison. Plus other reasons, I think he's locktown.

The past few days, both Thunal and Michelle have been very solvey, and Wilgy has that Sean thing. But of the three, while he can say Sean cleared him, *Sean* didn't say it, Sean just left him out of a post, and Wilgy has the least thread.

So Imma keep reading and will be voting when I post it. This is #6, like I said, I may flout it. I don't like dissing the curser, but I don't trust Dubz at all. I don't think she's being 100% honest with me, tbh.

Pyxxy also put Epi as civ and Zenonand Tutuu as sin, all wrong. And he died Night 2, so it is possible he made it to the chat room. So maybe today is a good day for reading back over known converted sins, Pyxxy and Dennis, to see if they had any changes.

Maybe because we thought Dubz and nook were both mafia and went with it, but now this clears Dubz for me and I think the Eod quietness came from t/t wagons.

This is a good point. A baddie Dubz has no real reason to reveal a block. Like Wilgy said it doesn't clear her, but it puts her in a better light.

You had asked about Dubz meta; I only saw one game with her and she was bad in that game, Art U Pick. I haven't played with her previously. But it was a poor example; her whole team was pretty much outed ASAP, she was last bad standing. She was unfailingly polite, kind, goodnatured and kind of jokey, she seemed to be trying to deflect with humor. She didn't look alot like she looks here. But I haven't reread her here, and will do so today.

I appreciate this read, it's very fair and unbiased. I have thought to myself about 1000x that I'll be punished for quite some time for having a few good games. I'll be lynched if I'm "off" and nk'd if I'm active. I'm trusting my gut a lot less her than I have been lately because the stuff I used to sus people isn't happening her. The last game for instance, the sdn'rs defended hard and that's where that solve came from. That just isn't gonna happen here.

I'm also petrified bc the person I want to vote the most is wilgy and I was massively wrong on him before.

I was looking through some things to evaluate if I should still be clearing Wilgy and SVS and I think this is interesting because it feels like cover for Kate being wrong. I think Kate thought Wilgy was town.

Kate also buddied up to Mac a bit, laughing at a reads post he made. She also buddied up to Zenon quite a bit. The Mac one didn't seem to take, but Zenon did, putting Kate on her unshakeable Locktown list.

Her only interaction with Nanook was as follows (at least from her end, you can't search "Kate" in an ISO)

Edit, Also re Kate, I was a bit perturbed that she seemed to not be getting what i was putting out about Wilgy, or more to the point, that she almost seemed to not want to get it.

Had she kept that up, and not been outed, I might have come to seeing her as bad, but I think Roxy would have gotten there first.

I don't know that I think Mata is town. But I don't know that I think she is Doe. Her low level of play has stayed consistent, so I don't know that I think she is a recruited sin. I thought her theory against the self appointed thread leader was very, very ballsy coming from someone with such a low activity level. I don't know that I see anyone whose win con is "survive to the end" making that play, lol.

So there is a lot more "I don't know" there than "I know" or even "I think". Mata can bring alot to the table and I would like her to bring it. I didn't agree with her theory, but I loved that she made it.

As for Kate, I have to reread her with this in mind. 99.9% of my read on Kate is tone. She feels more confident and less tentative when she is town. BTS has a weird effect on her; when mason or town BTS, it empowers her (as I'm sure you know, after Champs). She loves talking suspicions with like minded people who seek to SOLVE a mystery. When bad, having to hide that mystery makes her tense. She momma bears a bit and hides a lot. I also judge her based on her reactions with me, and your questions led me to look at her apart from that. She feels a bit jumpier to me, a bit more flirting with the thread for a longer time.

But her lone wolf game is a civ game.

She knows better than to pocket me. Probably the same for Dennis, and early on I recall her poking Dennis a bit about avoiding the thread. Matas only interaction with her was an off topic congrats about Dennis' brother graduating. Kate made a few vague town reads about Mata.

When I look back over her interactions with Roxy, most of it seems OT, bantering. Roxy kept trying to push her to make reads and answer questions, and got replies like this:

I think if Kate hadn't been outed, Roxy would have tried to raise suspish on her. I also kinda know now how she fooled me, reading over her interactions with Roxy. But to be fair to Kate, she and i were kinda purposely avoiding each other a bit, since Hot Dog Fingers was stressy for us both with the cold reading thing. I was teeth clenched alot of the time waiting for someone to ask me why I (or she) hadn't put a read on each other yet.

Kate is also friends with Tutuu, and that was interesting and at the time was part of why I thought she was civ. After the push to save tutuu started, Kate moved her vote to Porscha.

The post she made explaining why felt like a 1,000,000% civ kate thing to do. More importantly, i think it prolly felt like that to Tutuu too, who had a lot of thread pull, and who also had influence on Mac, who also had a lot of thread pull.

This wound up not working, of course, when macs info was part of outing Kate. So that post there ^^ was probably very true, but probably could also be perceived as being very helpful to her.

When I went back and checked her interactions with Dubz, there were quite a few. I had forgotten about Dubz coming into the game and sheeping kate. They had a flurry or interactions, and the balance of mentions of Dubz in Kates iso were her quoting other peoples reads lists which contained Dubz.

I was especially watching this early on as Kate had called out Dubz whole bad team in the game before this, and their interaction felt t/t to me at the time.

I would say she is more active when civ for sure. It could also be lack of interest to be honest. Which is why I have been skirting around her, just poking her 1-2x a day. What I was taking as laying low "Waiting for John Doe" (heh) may have just been, "Why the fuck did I let Kate talk me into this", lol. She only really ever plays anymore when she gets recruited by Kate. Then Kate dies day two, her big suspect dies Night 3 (and it was a splashy theory) and she's wrong. "Meh" from Mata, *turns on the TV*.

Her theory on Mac was what gave me a better feel for her, and her most recent post felt more sincere. And I think it's important that we try to stay close today and not spread it out too much, if there was one manip out there (and I have reason to believe there could be), even if the person who was known to have had it says they don't anymore. So while she still has my eye and I look forward to seeing what she comes up with based on her last post, I'm moving to [VOTE: Nanook] aubergine at this time.

But depending on how today turns out, we've been giving both Dubz and Mata the pass for irl, but people who have IRL issues can be bad, too.

I should be home all day today, rain yuk. But a friend got tickets to A Flock of Seagulls, of all things, tonight, and normally I would pass, but now they apparently tour with classical musicians from Prague, and I would like to see that lol. The singer has got to be pretty old, I hope he still doesn't have that weird haircut, but it would be pretty funny if he did.

At the end of Day, I will vote with the rest of town, and I get the Nanook suspish, but right now I want to vote for [VOTE: Matahari] aubergine.

She has been avoidant, and not really engaging. After Mac died and was NOT Doe, she pretty much ghosted the thread. Earlier she said she was overwhelmed (and I can believe that tbh, a post count of 3500, which is where we are now, was pretty SOP for a whole game that lasted a month back in the day) but now that the big posters are pretty much gone, she's still avoidant.

There's probably at least one scum in my towns (there always is) and I'm a bit worried it's JD because I personally feel like JD would have more incentive to seem invested in the game and direct things a bit than the sins would. And there's no one currently in the top of my POE who really checks that box for me. So that's cool.

Also looking forward to this, but I get irl, It took me two months to unpack last time I moved.

I do have a thought about some d1 stuff that I need to come back to though

As of now, my town is Rondo,for general demeanor and reaction testing but thankfully not too much reaction testing, Wilgy, for mech, and for reasons I have, Falcon. I lean townish on Michelle and Thunal. Michelle is reminding me more of Champs and less of Anniversary as we go along. She's got that tone, she is not trying to please anyone, that she had in Champs. Early on I had no real read on Thunal, and felt I should with twice my post count. I read back on day 1 and 2 and found a lot of small nuance reads that I don't think a Sin or Doe who might be trying to lay low waiting for a team to form would make.

That leaves Dubz, Matahari and Nanook as my unknown. I agree with Roxy that I keep waiting for town Dubz to show up, same with Mata, I think Roxy said "dragging her feet". Nanook is like a good camper, he leaves no trace. And that bit where he cbf to find the big event that shook up the thread, maybe he already heard about it in the chatroom.

It was after Kate was outed so I feel like it's WIFOM to read into it.

I think Wilgy is town independently of this because of the Sean BTSC stuff, so Kate may have wanted to draw attention to Wilgy and make people tinfoil him.

Kate tends to wolfread Wilgy. Last game they were t/t she went for him pretty aggressively. I didn’t see his as bad there, and *here* I tried to get her to see that what I saw in HDF I was seeing here. But she kept coming back to Wilgy. She backed off and as soon as someone else mentioned him, she went right back to him.

At the time I thought it was SOP for her, but in retrospect, this makes sense.

Okay, I'm not sure what the post cap is for me, so I just won't make any correction posts, I'll try to proof read better. I am far from a high poster, not sure why I'd be post capped by anyone.

I KNEW Epignosis was a sin, with that "self imposed" condition he was trying to meet on Day One. In Felt, he had a choice of being town or being bad, and he chose wolf. Since Wrath in the film was actually a cop, I think he either might have had an option similar to Dennis to join either town or the wolves, or to straight up join town.

In retrospect, I especially enjoy the post he made thanking me for explaining a nuance about someone elses post that specifically alluded to Wrath. Well Done! @Epignosis

Um, all of my day one reads were meta, I switched from you for meta reasons; Tutuus game was zero like the one game I played with her while she was town where she made straight to the point comments and discussed her reads without qualifiers. 100% meta.

Day one was, imo, an uninformed town and a bunch of lost wolves.

This reads a tiny bit like OMGUS; you've been harboring a grudge against me this whole time over this, not just since I had you in my POE? And I did 100% suspect you Day One over meta; on day one, you looked exactly to me like you did in Anniversary. But that was kinda unfair since I believed that no one had BTS, and I was suspecting you by comparing you to a bad version of you that had had BTS. That was totally meta, and on Day One, you kinda gave me a pass for it. So I'm a bit confuzzled by the dichotomy here.

I am a heavily meta reliant player, and am open about that. Do you find all of my suspicions questionable for that, or only my suspicions of you?

And I know you post vote counts; but that's ALL I remember you doing in Anniversary; that's why I pointed it out. "I'm a helpful civvie". You would pop in after being afk for 12 hours, post a VC and leave. You looked a bit like that to me here at the time I said that, but reading back, you have had more topical content than I recalled.

As for Kate, we had agreed after Hot Dog fingers to never cold read each other again. It kinda ruined our game there, it was no fun explaining over and over again how this was a thing, and being suspected for it. And while winning is good, fun is better. We don't want it to be a thing anymore. But I did include her as town in my Day One reads list. She fooled me, but in my defense, if you played or spectated Scooby Doo, she was an excellent Lost Wolf there becasue she could pretend to be town.

I would have been annoyed had she cold read me in thread, and I don't recall her making a reads list.

I need to know, why do you think it's your job to set the POE? I looked at your posts, and you made one post where Mata was your second tier of town before today. I came into today set on looking at Mata, and seeing what she said now that Mac is revealed to be town. That's been her entire thing. I am curious to see Thunals answers to your questions, but don't understand your reaction to a suspish of Mata. Unless you have mech, which I am going to assume is the case, becasue I'm not sure what is informing your read otherwise.

Town: Wilgy and Michelle; I think given a choice, these two are town centric. Doesn't mean they would be given a choice if they were sins. If these two changed thought processes or worldviews suddenly I would expect them, in this set up, to have gone dark. I haven't seen that.

And right now it's the little things, becasue assuming Doe doesn't know who the sins are in advance (and it could go either way, but the framework I'm using for theorizing is BSG), Doe may have also changed his suspicions suddenly. So picking apart peoples posts is a good look, and a smart move.

What's BSG?

Battlestar Galactica. It was a game Golden hosted several years ago. It had a somewhat similar set up, a single Mafia leader who had to gather a team. I was that role in that game.

Some things here seem different, like I had to search for teammates there, and here it seems the teammates have to meet goals. But the basic framework is similar.

I am fairly sure that the simple act of BTSCing you clears you because I think that he said that he got a mechanical redcheck on Kate immediately and he didn't out a red on you and in fact implied he had "a clear" so I am taking you as a clear.

Wigly - is not his normal charming/funny/silly self and it is showing. Is he bad? Could be as I have zero warm fuzzies from him this game. Why is wigly here for you?

falcon is quickly going up in my list for baddies. His continued absence this game is mind boggling especially as the town is struggling. This is usually the time Tfalcon would fly in and help save the day.

Mata - I have asked specifically in the thread for help and she has disappeared making my read of her townie-ness decline further into baddie territory. Do you feel the same?

Michelle - as I had suspicion of her on D 1 she has been around more and is at least posting. Though most of our POE's do line up. She seems to be trying. I have zero experience with them so yah - It's all just a guess/vibe thing. It's still a bit precarious but I have been having her on my town lists. Why is she on your list? Do you have experience with her game/meta?

Nook - yah I feel you here. He is unreadable. But I agree with Rondo or Jack I do not remember who said it but they said Nook never gets to the end game. But honestly what are we waiting for here people? And you, (svs) what say you?

I'm not sure if you're asking me a question here other than about Dennis? I actually touched on your comments on my reply to Michelle, except Nook, which she said she got.

When I caught up last night, I was looking for people who felt different to me. I used to be pretty good at that (I don't know if you played this game, I don't even recall which one it was, but I caught LT out as recruited in one post. Good times.)

I think Falcon and Wilgy have both changed from Day one to now. In this game, that gets my eye. I think Mata is perhaps an unrecruited? My feels on her have not changed over the game. She made one post I liked alot, her Mac = Doe tinfoil. I didn't agree, but I liked her feel, she seemed to really believe it, if that makes sense. But a 'Who is Doe' theory wouldn't preclude her from being a Sin.

I have (i think) zero experience with Nook in games, he seems very under the radar to me. I don't know if this is his norm. He DOES feel pretty much the same as he did to me earlier in the game, though. I read that more as towny on Day 1, now it feels less so, it feels, like I said, under the radar.

Like I told Michelle, GTH if not Dennis, I'd go with Mata.

Thunal33 - my top town previous days, gives me paranoia for her fear of dying yday, but still town.

Wilgy: Just much more quiet than I expect of him. He isn't even licking or anything at all. I felt Wilgy early on, I'm not feeling him anymore. He feels different to me than he did Day 1, and in a game where people change alignment, people who feel different will get my eye.

Falcon: He's posting but I haven't seen anything reads like from him since Day 1 as well. He's poked at Mata a bit, and he DOES have more posts than her, but she has more to say. As I said this AM, Zenon thought he sounded towny on Day 1. But it is Day 3, and I don't particularly think he does anymore. Again, in a game with changing alignments, this matters.

Mata: TBH, she DOES feel the same to me as she has all game. Maybe sin and unrecruited? She doesn't say much and when she does not very solvey.

Michelle: Early on, it felt to me like Michelle was poking people in a way that seemed a bit slick, since then most of her posts that I have seen have been poll posts etc., as she did in the Anniversary game, but to be fair, I haven't indepth read her since Day One. Also feels different to me, but in a better way. She is mainly here becasue I don't know what I think of her, and that is the function of the POE, right?

GTH if I had to vote one of these now, it would be Mata.

Tutuu and Seanzie were somehow killed by the baddies, probably sins with bombs or whatever, since a Doe with both a night and a day kill is overpowered. They were both supatown and I can't imagine either of them being vigged.

I think he would enjoy being the role and playing the game; I don't think he'd enjoy being outed Doe. Or any outed baddie really.

I mentioned it a few times, here are the links, It's just tinfoil, and when i tinfoil, I try to pretty clearly label it as such, rather than labeling it as fact. It's pretty basic and based on how Kate acted after she was outed. I NEVER saw her act that way, I think she went into Mamma Bear mode and was trying to do *something* to benefit Dennis. So the Dennis = Doe thing came to mind, but it could also just be she was trying to buy him time to meet sin conditions and maybe get another chance at winning. Either which way, we'll know tonight. But 100% she was trying to help Dennis somehow, she wouldn't have done all that lusty stuff in thread in front of him if he wouldn't have someone benefitted from it.

I'm not a person to focus on myself during games, constantly talking about how people interact with me etc., but I will say two days in a row with random otherwise unexplained votes for me from people I thought I was vibing with was kinda freaking me out. But I bet there is a vote forcer. If it's an OG one, i know you can't confirm that. But the thought makes me feel less confused/conflicted about you. Since someone is trying to get trains started at me, but not really coming for me in thread, I'm going to guess the vote forcer is a sin. But i've been kinda wishy washy since I'm looking for BTS tells and not finding them, so not sure who might be so threatened by me.

But in any case, I think we’re all in love with our own theories and maybe need to let go of that a bit to work together.

I think Dennis is Doe. I’ve said it several times. It’s the only thing that explains the huge spectacle Kate put on, within the framework of the game as I suppose it to be.

Which is all any of us can do; supposition.

Based on my experience playing a similar role, I think the baddies can’t get new members if Doe dies, so Kate was giving him another day of potential recruiting time (and I know he doesn’t actually recruit, the sins have to make goals, but it’s the easiest word to use).

So I think he’s prolly Doe. But in any case, she was specifically buying time for him.

And someone asked if Dennis would enjoy being outed Die or something like that? No I think he’d hate it. But that would be true imo if he were any outed bad.

His mom outed him, even not meaning to, to town. I’d be surprised if he didnt ghost.

Also note that I have attempted extensive play testing with the balance of this game, and while I think it is as fair as I can make it, it is a role madness type where things can swing wildly depending on choices made. In the spirit of all things transparent, there are elements to this game that some might consider “unconventional”:
-There is vote manipulation tied to role abilities.
-3rd Parties have the opportunity to change alignment in this game, and have been notified as such.
-There are no jesters, no death millers, no resurrections. All lynch reveals will be genuine, with alignment given. Most importantly, host posts and messages directly from me will never lie.
All relevant info will be revealed postgame.

@MacDougall the rules say full roles reveal for yeets, and only names with other deaths.
