Re: Occultism Mafia - THE END

Wow, YAY!!

MM I am soooo sorry. I was sure Dom was the rezz/lynch save guy since most people would have rezzed Epi right away, the first dead civvie, especially since he is a vocal player, but the rezzer waited for a more valuable role to rezz, which I have seen Dom do more than once.

And Epi, I honestly did not suspect you for your posting style, but for your actions.

Re: Occultism Mafia - Day 8

I am going to vote BWT. I guess my issue with MM is that I think someone else is the role everyone thinks MM is. But that person is not saying anything so perhaps I am mistaken, this is based on thread, not info.

So hopefully BWT is the killer.

Re: Occultism Mafia - Day 8

MM, I have a question for you~ the prize you won. I know what mine was. What was your prize? Maybe a lynch stop? Rhetorical question, I don't want you to actually say what your prize was. But I do know what mine was, and I think a lynch stop is a very reasonable prize.

Food for thought.

NOT Abremelin:

MP
SVS

I highly doubt it~ won't say it is impossible, but i am not seeing it:

Dom
Mongoose

That leaves BWT and MM.

And MM, I DID answer your question, I directed the answer to someone else though~ I misunderstood the outcome of a lynch, I thought the wrong person was lynched, not the vote leader. You are in fact the only one to survive a lynch. Sorry about that confusion there. But again, increasingly powerful role, plus you won a prize. Lots of ways you could have survived a lynch, not just a role related way.

Everything you have said has felt very bad to me.

But no one agrees with me that you might not be that role. So I guess we have to lynch BWT first to figure this out?

I think this is for the best. I'm not leaning toward Vomps at all (although he'd make a natural independent).

Who survived? I am not Adverse to discussing MM, but am inclined to think he's most likely civ.

The reason i think vomps was faking was the first time we have seen true insanification this game.
It looked fairly true to me, and we have 2 hex/potion people in this game, perhaps they insanify via different methods. I have seen probably half a dozen different insanifiers. Vomps looked like one I have seen before, so I am not sure what you mean by "true" insanification.

And I was on phone, I did not realize it was a tie, I thought INH had less votes. Tomorrow i am going to vote BWT again, or Vomps. And :P at MP, you pushed me to make a decision, then did not show up, lol. I could have voted closer to the end than I did, and I would have voted Vomp to save INH.

That's a good point. You can communicate pretty clearly through haikus, horoscopes, and weather reports. That does seem a bit like "One of these things is not like the others."
Insanification is hard. Have you ever been insanified with the engive he obviously was using?

i am not saying i trust Vomps, I actually don't, but it has nothing to do with being insanified or not. What are your reasons other than insanification? It is my experience over hundreds of games that actually insanified/silenced/etc people outnumber those pretending to be such.

This feels like such a Vompvagon. I actually hate this.

Are you talking about ninja blooper? Considering bloops was murdered to death by Abramelon, wouldn't she be a civvie? Why would you suspect otherwise?
I meant up to the point where the bad team died out. She was one of 2 people that could not have been on the bad team. In thought my meaning was clear?
I didn't realize the non-suspicion you were referring to was something that existed before her death (or nutella's). I thought you were saying that you looked her over again today, and didn't suspect her. :derp: me
No, I was talking about why someone might kill her, since the new killer killed her :)

With no other leads, sometimes it helps to try and figure out WHY someone killed a specific victim.

This post specifically is why I voted for you:

I'm sorry for not explaining before. It was just a strong hunch. I hope don't think too badly of it now.

llama, if the mafia is eliminated, will it be declared in the game thread?
Plus this one to a lesser extent:
Metalmarsh89 wrote:
insertnamehere wrote:I really don't know who to look at. I'd assume that Abramelin was civvie-neutral before he had his little "operation", and possibly had to get the baddies out in order to make himself stronger.
I dunno if I agree. There are so many civvie players, I have a hard time seeing Abramelin aligned with them, even at the beginning.

Linki: thanks llama.
What I think INH meant, and I thought it was fairly obvious, was that Abremelin would PLAY the game that way, not that he was ALIGNED that way by the host. The host clearly aligned him as Indy/secret role. But playing the game as a civ would be the best viable way IMO, especially if the theory that Abremelin could not kill until the Mafia was gone is the correct one. It is also possible he chose not to kill to lull the civs and to hide a bit better.

I asked people to reread Blooper to see if they could come up with a reason someone might kill her; have you? Do you have any ideas on who might have wanted to kill her?

Put into a copper pot:
a cup of Datura root, minced
a cup of Wolfsbane, chopped
The oil of 6 pounds of unbaptized olives (I'm vegetarian)
ground poppies, about 1/8 pound
3 tbs morning glory seeds ground to a paste
1 cup psilocybin mushrooms
1 cup of honey from a beehive fed totally on nightshade plants

Simmer together for an hour at low heat; strain out plant matter. Mix in boiling springwater enough to make the mixture the consistency of milk, reduce the heat to low and, stirring frequently, allow to simmer several hours until the mixture is the consistency of yogurt. Let cool, and apply to the skin; swallowing a spoonful might not hurt. Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.

BWT

Eloh

MM
Nutella
Vomps

Of those, leaning civ:

Eloh
Hedge

That leaves:

BWT: As blendy as the person he replaced
Dom: Comes back from being sick; Boogs dies. This would be a nice set up as well, though.
MM: Not loving the drive by
Nutella: No clue; but I really hate MMs vote
Vomps: Love the participation, but the game related content kinda blendy

Eliphas Levy may appear to be Aliester Crowley today, but that would be misleading. It appears that the Sock ws as he said, not evil. You may need to go back to the drawing board. Just becasue she was wrong, however, does not make Mongoose evil. Sometimes things are not what they seem, but sometimes they are.

Your Stars Today:

You will meet a nameless, stagheaded man whose points do not go away. You will not be annoyed, but others may be.

Re: Occultism Mafia - Day 3

Your Stars for Monday, July 14:

You will have a great deal to catch up on today, and your own fault it is too. A little bird in a Hedge might demand explanations, but might have to wait for another day when you can speak your mind in more detail. But perhaps she might read a bit more closely, and seek what she finds on her own :)

A small furry snake killer said something a few days back that you did not understand at the time, but which may make some sense to you at this time. If so, you should act on it. In addition, a talking sock may have buddied up to you a few days ago, saying he saw your civvie game. You should follow your gut, and the lead of the mysterious INH constellation in your house of voting, and *Vote Moving Pictures*.

Your Stars for Sunday, July 13:

Today your moon is in the house of Aquarius~ you should be careful to avoid alcohol at all costs. Should you overindulge at a family party, you might just forget that important PM!

Re: Occultism Mafia - Day 3

He could have been blocked Night 1. The more I think about it the more possible it seems.

Gonna reread MP voter from the other day

Re: Occultism Mafia - Day 3

Epignosis 10
Metalmarsh89 10
MovingPictures07 10
A Person 7
Hedgeowl 6
Keterman 4
Lizzy 4
birdwithteeth 1

These are people with 10 or fewer posts. Epi & AP are dead. Lizzy & Keterman are now BWT & MM, and both posted during the night; MM especially has been rather active. Plus I find it unlikely that either of them would come in and NOT send a PM with no kill the night before. That is supposition though.

Of that group, I most suspect Hedgeowl. I least suspect MM. Mongoose said she felt fairly sure that MP was bad, but I do not recall why?

This depends alot on what Llama says, though. If he does NOT write fail kills into the post, the whole thing is theoretical. Especially since I think everyone checked in during the night last night.

Re: Occultism Mafia - Day 3

Yeah, we have a civ block, a protect, a hexer & a potion brewer...and we have inactive players. That's a good question, LA, and I have another if it turns out that those things would be shown in the post~

Llama~ Do you randomize roles? I got that impression somewhere.

Linki~ tbh, I don't see both kills being lost to no PM, OR to blocks, etc. I was thinking a combo of both, maybe. One missed PM and one block, perhaps? I don't think anyone has been THAT inactive, except lizzy. And her replacement came in during the night and has been active. I think all of us posted last night, the 48 long night, right?
