Yeah, I totally thought you were bad. You were kinda manic, which fits with your perceived need to direct, but it made me think you were steering. And in my past experienced, calm lecturey MP is civ, Manic MP is bad.

So now I have learned my lesson about that, obviously~

You're welcome Daisy :) And you know what's funny, in Dead Like Me, i had the storekeeper role, and I died night one too. Maybe next time give your storekeeper an alarm system, lol

I had fun, I always view this kind of thing as a challenge~!

And Llama, I hope to have the AG thread up in a few days. I have to speak to MP & JC first. This came sooner than I expected. But I do have some activities and contests to run in the sign up thread, including a scavenger hunt.

I am so glad i was right about Indi. Being wrong about Bullz totally trashed my confidence, and led me to commit suicide via sending in a hut. BDH, too, I trusted him early, but towards the end he tipped his hand. I knew I was letting the venom come out a bit with him, but i was suiciding as well, so

It's the only way I can make the pieces fall into place. Why would anyone else stop killing for a large part of the game when it would be to their benefit to kill? It just doesn't make sense unless there was a reason for it, like not wanting to be exposed by coming back into the game and have the kills start again.

Maybe I'm wrong but I can't think of anyone else that I can fit into the Trog role.

See, that's where I'm at too. It's like pieces of a puzzle, and the only piece that fits here in my mind is SVS. I don't understand why she keeps asserting it was DF when Snowie has clearly said he wasn't Trogdor. It's the only one that fits and makes sense.

Her defense also does not ring true to me.
I am already lynched, so this is kinda pointless, but why would I suddenly start killing again if i were Trogdor? Like right when people were kinda "over" me becasue of the Bullz lynch/NK. It would be the worst possible timing for me.

I am voting BDH; the fact that he was the one pushing SVS=Trogdor hardest coupled with his virtual absence until Trogdor starts killing again, just in time to point fingers.

Like Dom, I know Faraday pretty well. He is ALWAYS blendy, and when he does post it is short, but it generally is insightful, and I totally did not see that here. BUT, that said, that would lead me to think he was bad, not Indy, as Indies generally play like Civs in the thread.

Other than Timmer, my instincts have sucked. I am going to read a few people today, but i don;t think it matters. Although the lynch doesn't end for over 12 hours, and no one is really talking, I am wasting time according to Snow Dog by discussing who else might be or have been the person everyone is accusing me of being.

When I was off line for about a week. Trogdor stopped killing that week.

I think today was the first time he killed since I subbed in for Rey, who had been totally non participatory before I joined the game. Someone died once, maybe Borok? But then he came right back.

Daisy, would a night kill go through on a night the killer was NKed themself?

It still looks to me like SVS will be the best place for my vote to go today, though I am happy to wait and see what happens too. From that older, quoted post it looks like she all but admitted to being Trogdor.

APerson, I'll have to take a look at. That is a lot of self-voting and a lot of non-voting. Strange! I'll have plenty of time to do a read through on AP, so I'll see if anything there squicks me out.
I have never admited to being Togdor, that is just extrapolation. I have repeatedly said I am widely believed to be Trogdor; I have NEVER said i was becasue I am not.

As soon as Bullz died, I knew this was coming. Trogdor laid low, and now when i come up NOT Trogdor, everyone will be all panicy, which will be perfect atmosphere for burninating. Well played.

Go for it guys, lynch me. It won;t get you Trogdor, or a Blue Lazer or Bullz correctly pointed out. It will allow two more kills tomorrow night, though. I would be amazed if I was not being blocked every, or every other at least, night.

Re: Homestar Runner [Day 11]

I was wrong about Bullz, not so sure about Indi & CBK. But CBK is off the poll, and Dom was off the poll yesterday, and he was the only serious alternative to Bullz, yet no one today is really mentioning him. And CBK has a vaguely hostile, almost hectoring tone I tend to associate with certain people when they are bad, and I so badly want to vote for her :(

So I have to vote now as I may not be home by the end of the poll. I don't know what to think of Borok, tbh, but the people I don't trust AT ALL are pushing a lynch of him, and that makes me very tense. So, as I said yesterday (Mafia yesterday, not calendar yesterday), my opinion of some people might change if Bullz came up civ, and he did and it has. But not enough to vote on so early, so gonna vote Faraday.

I am not liking the vague-r than Faraday normal, blendier than usual even for him, quality of his posts.

Actually, it is more worrisome in the end game. At that point, everyone should have real suspicions and opinions on almost everyone. Not wanting to voice those suspicions, and thereby take suspicion yourself from those you suspect or those that trust them, is a fairly overt baddie tell.

So, deflection, huh? Why do you think I said you're either really wrong about me or you're trying to take away from the borok thing.
I could definitely see really wrong, because it would look bad for you if you came out swinging for me and got me lynched.

Frankly I'm kind of stunned that you can't see anything in borok. The guy has no excuse for a lot of the weird things he's said and done (votes, comments about people dying, really weak reasons for voting for people who clearly turned out to be civ, etc etc).
Why would it look bad for me? I am either a civvie or Trogdor, I am not on the only remaining baddie team left. It did not look bad for me (well, it made me look stupid, but not bad) when i pushed the lynch of bullz, and i agree that that lynch is what got him killed.

You have no excuse for a lot of the weird things you have said, either. Neither do I. We're people. Sometimes we say/do stupid shit, lol. And civs vote for civs all the time, your insistence that that is pertinent is actually one of the reason I mainly think you are bad.

A Person - just simply because he never posts... like, ever, but more so since things have been heating up a bit, so maybe he's trying to lay low and avoid scrutiny, or possibly he's like me and is just generally quiet (I know he is, but still).

And somewhat snow dog, just because he seems to be in a really good place with everyone thinking he's civ. He very might well be civ, but if he's not and everyone else is convinced of his civviness, he's in a very safe spot for a baddy. But really I've got no evidence on that and I'm most likely (like 90% sure) that I'm simply over-analyzing.
#1 BDH is clearly good. Anyone who votes for him gets my :eye:

#2 You don't post much. When you do, content is severely lacking.

Borok is bad. I think the bullz bandwagon is a diversion!
This just makes me think that you and BDH are on a team together, but I really don't have any information to back that up. Why is he "clearly good"?

I definitely post more than some of the other players. My posts lack content because I'm bad at reading people on the internet.

Bullz isn't a diversion-- I'd obviously vote for dom if he were still on the poll.
Also, who would a Bullz lynch be diverting from, Lea? I have been the one pushing it hardest, and I am tending to think Dom is civ, and that is who Borok distrusts the most. Personally, if Bullz is bad, I don't see how Dom can be. If Bullz is NOT bad, then maybe I will revise my opinion of Dom. But if Dom turns up bad, I very sincerely doubt Borok is, although if Dom turns up civ, Borok may still be civ.

As for BDH, I have also been getting a civ vibe from him, but I am not sure how he is "clearly" civ from that. It's a vibe.

Bullz, its all in the timing. You held your vote until the last 10 or 15 minutes of the lynch, hoping someone else would show up, and very realistically expecting (I know I expected it) that I would be lynched since my out of the blue vote for Timmer was not as compelling as potentially nabbing the possible SK. Had Timmer shown in time, I would have been lynched.

Re: Homestar Runner [Day 9]

I mentioned Mata since she was a Timmer voter.

And even if I were to be Trogdor, as many have said (and which I am not), I would still want to baddie hunt. Had Timmer managed to lynch DP, he would be alive and basking in all the civ cred right now. You don't have to be a civvie to know a baddie when you see one ;)

Trogdor has not killed since Day Two or Three. The Blue Lasers have, so even if I were Trogdor (which I am sure someone is going to bring up), I would be less of a threat than the Lasers. And that was "if". If I am not Trogdor, then I am a civ. In any case, if we manage to kill off the Blue Lasers, I am sure I will be first to go if the game does not end. And that is likely when the Trogdor kills will start again,

But again, at this stage, whether I am a civ or not has nothing to do with the affiliation of the people I suspect.

I don't find it hard to believe Bullz is bad. He was recruited by my team in what must have been the longest BTSC of all time, LOST Revolution. It was a few months, I think. In any case, you should have seen him, sitting in our chat discussing what we wanted to know from the civs, then going into the civ chat being all innocent and trustworthy. The same in the thread, he had them totally, totally hoodwinked. He was awesome. He is capable of almost anything. And I say that from respect :noble:

He could have gotten info, in one game I played recently, I was a baddie and was told the civvie option. The last lynch before he was not here, the Timmer lynch, I really think it was a clear save.

But I will leave him on the list. I think at two of CBK, Indi & Bullz ARE on it. I think Bullz is most likely. So I am voting for Bullz when I get home tonight, barring a confession or some such.

BigDamnHero
Bullzeye
borokkuei

Re: Homestar Runner [Day 9]

Yeah, it used to be a day to celebrate the working folk of America, when all the working people, minus essential services like hospitals & Police, had off, drank beer and BBQed. Now it is a day for sales, with all the malls and stores open, staffed by workers, and all the BOSSES have off, drink beer and BBQ.

Fair enough, CBK.
indiglo wrote:There is no way I'm voting SVS. She may be bad, I don't know. But I don't vote for someone who has been accused and who is not here to explain their side / defend (unless it is 100% obvious that they are bad, and even then I like to hear from them anyway to confirm). Too easy of a scapegoat / setup situation and I don't buy into those. In fact, this may be an area of investigation for me moving forward... who pushed this idea, who supported it, etc.

With that said, the stuff on Vomps seems most solid to me at this point. I'm going to go ahead and vote.

*votes Vomps*

How exciting, my first vote in this humongous game! :lorab:
This was Indis ONLY mention of me until about half an hour before she voted for me, becasue several people followed my vote of Timmer (who was a baddie), and MP thought I might be Trogdor, and also thought he might be wrong, both of which are possible based on his role.

This is the final tally in the last lynch:
Spacedaisy wrote:Poll ended at Wed Aug 28, 2013 2:05 pm Day8
S~V~S
4
DFaraday (11), Captain Bunny Killer (12), indiglo (14), Bullzeye (15) 27%
Timmer
4
S~V~S (8), Snow Dog (9), juliets (10), Matahari (13) 27%
I don't know how Indi says that the possiblity of her saving him makes no sense, there were a lot of no shows, I am widely believed to be Trogdor, and was almost lynched twice before. They were hoping not to have to vote for me, but as it got closer to the wire, and no one else was showing up, they HAD to vote for me to try to save Timmer, who already had 4 votes when Indi, then Bullz, voted for me like 10 minutes before the lynch ended. Plus Timmer himself showed up 10 minutes late, that chat room must have been in a wild panic (hypothetically, of course) :omg:

Sorry, Indi, but you get my vote

Probably S~V~S. Maybe DP or Dom, but given how the vote is going, then S~V~S. I feel she doesn't have the civvies' best interests at heart this game and she probably is Trogdor, honestly. But what do I know about that, I could be wrong. Just my gut, which has been wrong before in this game, so take that as you will.

I still have some somewhat rotten feelings about Dom (I really feel like he's been manipulating), timmer, CBK (her thoughts about Leamiteo bugged me), Snow Dog (I just really don't know what to make of him), and LT (I wasn't sure how I felt about bea) in that order. BUT these are all gut/interpretations-based, and I'd hate to do these players what has been done to me, so maybe I'm totally wrong about some or all of these...
I went to look back at MP's final posts as well. I think it's strange that Indi said all the people said 100% on are dead. Although he doesn't use that wording here, he seemed pretty confident about SVS, who is definitely not dead. For that matter, neither are the other top two. ??? In that case, I would continue to consider SVS. I would also consider Dom. Unfortunately, since I was so wrong about MP, I didn't consider Dom, because he seemed to be looking at MP too. But now that we know who MP was... And notice that right after Dom, MP mentioned timmer. I know some of that may have come from timmer going after MP, but we all know how things turned out with timmer. So, MP seemed to have some good insight here.

But then you said this, JC
juliets wrote:Ok, I didn't read back on CBK yet because i wanted to read MP's most recent posts. Have you guys done that yet? I can't tell a damn thing from reading what he said in the posts before he died. He brought up people's names but in the cases I read he would say things like "now this is just my gut feeling" about anyone he brought up. I'm having a hard time pulling a name out of his thoughts. Maybe Dom but from what I read he didn't feel highly confident even there. He said in that post before he died to look at his confidence levels. Well, I didn't see any confidence levels in the posts I've read.

What have the rest of you gotten out of MP re-reads. I certainly didn't re-read all his posts (has anyone here tackled that?) but I did read his latest posts. So, anyone got anything where he's saying he's 90% confident or anything like that?
So, even though we basically found out that MP had inside info on some people, and he seemed fairly confident about at least one person, you couldn't get anything out of it. The reason he was still using the whole gut feeling line is because he hadn't basically outed his role yet, which happened a few posts later. Now, I'm not guarenteeing that he's right about these people, but it seems at least a good place to start reading. And I wouldn't mind adding you and indi to that list of considerations, all things considered. I know that's four people, and I pretty much have no time to read through four people, so we'll see...
So...you want to vote me now based on MP thinking I am suspicious (I believe he thought I was the SK who has killed no one) and you consistently have said so. So I am at peace with that.

Do you have an opinion on Indiglo & Bullzeye? Other than through the filter of what MP said, I mean based on your own opinion?

SVS, there is NO connection between me, Timmer, Bullz or CBK. That was a good thought - going back and looking at MP's posts, and I hadn't thought of it yet. It was like "oh duh, of course I should have been looking there." You can be paranoid, but again, it doesn't make you right. If this tunnel vision continues you are going to get yourself (and possibly the thread) way off course. You are barking up the wrong tree here. I didn't vote to "save" Timmer, and that just doesn't strike me as logical. After I voted SVS he wasn't "saved", he still had more votes than SVS.
I know I already kinda responded to this, but it has been eating at me a bit.

Since when is one suspicion for one day "tunnel vision"? That would make ALL suspicions "tunnel vision". First "No U", now "tunnelvision"; will you accuse me of switcheroo next? Do you think Borok & his consistent votes for Dom are gonna derail the thread? Did I miss where you accused him of Tunnelvision?

When CBK, you & Bullz all voted within about an hour of each other, there were still 8 people to go, I believe. Bullz tied it, but you voted right before him, 5 minutes before him, if I recall. And Timmer tried to vote for me, he would have lynched me. I don't think everyone who voted for me (or intended to vote for me) is bad, I do think Bullz is most likely, though, and you as well. Possibly CBK.

Do you have an opinion on CBK & Bullz?

Although I am fairly sure I have seen Bullz around here today, he has not posted, and I promised I would not vote for him if he is not here, and I won't. You had posted earlier that how someone reacted to suspicion is a big part of your opinion of them. I agree 100%. I would feel better voting for you than CBK, and likely will. I think you made a weak vote for a weak reason, and coming when it did, I think you are Timmers teammate. Your implication that this opinion is just tactics (with cute names) as usual on my part does not make me feel better about you, tbh.

Re: Homestar Runner [Day 9]

How many people missed the vote? Timmer was counting on the fact that I was almost lynched before and widely suspected of Trogdorness, IMO. And Tim had taken no real suspish previously. Had the people who missed showed up, I would have been lynched, I am sure.

Who do you plan to vote for today?

juliets wrote:Yes indi, I should have mentioned that and I forgot - I believe we should do that too. I believe thats where CBK's name came from but i know there were more.

Also, my apologies mata I forgot to say goodbye to you, I am so sad you are dead :( . I'm pretty sure you were good but I guess in this game anyone could turn up as bad. RIP to you.
Wow, you jumped on that. Forgot that someone you believed was civ just died? I wasn't even within MP''s top few in his final posts. Well, anyway, look all you want. Your only worry on me should be that I seem to be terrible at this game (as in wrong about everyone). :sigh:
People did not have to be mentioned by MP to be bad.
Captain Bunny Killer wrote:I feel I owe an apology to the group. Since school started, I pretty much can't give any extended thought to this. I should have known, but Daisy has already had to replace so many people. I feel like I could have helped prevent more of the mistakes in our selections if I had been a little more diligent. I apologize. Considering that, and how lynching MP went, I intend to vote for one of his named suspicions: SVS. I really have no way to research this, so I apologize again.

And, by the way, I am typing this in the library at a bank of school computers. It felt weird logging in to a website as "Captain Bunny Killer" in the event that the person next to me looked over. Haha
Shortly after this, Indi comes in and says, "Hey what a thought! Lets vote based on MPs suspicions"
indiglo wrote:Didn't notice anything blatantly bad in DP's posts. (Though admittedly, I don't have a ton of experience with him.) Just someone who is not engaged in the game and isn't participating. He hasn't posted since August 22, I'm surprised he hasn't been modkilled yet, tbh. Maybe he will be eventually. At any rate, I doubt we're going to be seeing him any time soon.

CBK, now there's a thought! Look at who MP was looking at. My question would only be was he speculating on some of his suspicions, or were they all based on something reliable. Does that make sense? Even info roles can speculate incorrectly. Maybe I'll look back and see what his posts sounded like, and how certain/reliable his suspicions may be.

It has kind of unnerved me how quickly SVS mentioned Timmer and then several others jumped in and voted him immediately.
Kinda like how CBK made this post, and you and Bullz voted for me within half an hour.

Although MP was kinda waffly on me, which makes sense based on his role. I am thinking perhaps CBK is potentially part of the Lazer team. Perhaps a read there will be beneficial.

Which team? Do you think I am a Teen Girl? Becasue I would certainly be the worst teammate ever if I were a Lazer.

Why do you think that? Just because?
