OK, I read and or skimmed your iso, mainly for tone rather than content. I also skimmed your Game 1. In Game one, I knew from my first post that you were bad; you would show up when mentioned only, and only say the bare minimum, and evade any real talk of suspects. You had zero interactions with people who would up being teammates, while here you've mentioned or engaged with pretty much everyone. And with the known baddies you interacted with Alison extensively, and quite a bit with Sabi. Less with Sean, but in Game 1 you didn't interact with any of your teammates, which, for me, was a tell of yours from that game.

Your game here is very differnt. You're not a top ten poster, but you're engaging, trying to find things out rather than trying to avoid discussing them.

I think maybe Golfen is remembering your game in Game 1 from the Rose Colored glasses of baddie team win. If he goes back there and looks at it without that bias, he would not be voting for you here, imo.

So has Wilgy shot anyone yet? I followed along a bit, but not for the past few hours.

Hope you got a lot of popcorn since I’m on my way out the door and may or may not be able to post at work much.

I'm going to read Radishes while at work today (to really OG myself, I can't call him "MR" becasue for me that is Mighty Rearranger) since, he's taking some heat and I can't remember a single thing he has said and he has about 2x as many posts as me, so I think I should. Is he normally blendy?

Also reading Michelle since I want to see what Golden is talking about since I don't see it.

Leaving my vote on Marmot at this time, since I still think he's bad.

I have only two games if prior experience with Michelle. In one she was my wolfmate and in the other she was clearly different. She feels like the first here.

Besides that, Alison made a post about how easy Michelle was to read at one point, so casual that it wasn’t so much a town read as a preemptive dismissal that anyone could wolfread Michelle. It pinged me then, it pings me now.

I am townreading her precisely becasue of Game 1, where you were her teammate. Do you think she really is playing anything like that game? She doesn't look anything like that to me here. I have not seen her civ game (that I can recall). I'll reread her, but she doesn't look like the one thing I have to compare her to.

You don't appear to have answered me when I asked about why you abandoned me at Macs. You got me to vote Mac, then you went and voted for my main suspect at the last second, becasue he wouldn't vote for Mac (which I had done) ignoring the two big wagons, including the one that flipped bad. I think it's the second. She snowed him so good (and not just him, lots of people came out of the woodwork last night to say, "Oh I knew she was bad". So like, where were the votes/cases etc?)

I leaned town on her becasue of the way she interacted with OG players like Kate and Golden on Day One, it reminded me of her interactions with Roxy in Cartomancy. I'm sure other people did as well. If I had a shot I wouldn't have shot her, tbh.

You couldn't handle this kind of thread in Cartomancy, yet you seem to think I won't be overwhelmed. Like I'm some sort of super person who won't freeze. Jesus Christ.

You know my game better than anyone. I need meta, and I need to find small things. Which is hard for me in this setting.

Generally I kick into gear when it's time to momma bear, when the wolves fuck with someone I care about. Then I hear that little voice in my ear telling me where to look, how to find them. It was there in the last several games, and it helped me find what I was looking for.

Other than Dennis, who was killed by another townie, I have no idea, or real connection to anyone that was killed. I think most of the people who were killed were killed by town. I haven't found anything to latch on to yet.

And also, I don't fucking know what a Lost Wolf is, it isn't a TMI thing or any other kind of stupid jargon I don't understand. I don't know what it is.

That little voice is not there, and that's OK, I should be able to work without it. And I will, but I need to be given my ground to get my feet. This whole "Oh SVS isn't on fire" or whatever else is ridiculous on Day Two.

Now I have to get in there and see what's what.

If it was up to me, I would keep my vote on Marmot, that's the closest thing to the "little thing" I need to latch onto, the thing he said to Neon. That was such a bad look for him.

But it looks like I'll have to vote to save. Of my esteemed competitors, I felt worse about Sean than Rondo, but that seemed to develop today, and I have to read the case on that.
From my perspective, all of this is true whether you’re t! it w! SVS. And maybe there’s some truth to ‘looking for day 3 or 4 svs’ and god knows it’s not easy to play in a thread like this and be busy.

But what have you noticed? What townreads do you have? Who are you trusting and why?
As I said, this was kinda aimed at Kate who will know exactly what I mean.

At this stage, I think Neon is town. I think Marmot is bad. I think Party Dude is 3P. I think Kate is town.

Of the other people with wagons, I think Sean is most likely to be bad. I know I was told Rondo can fake his civ meta, but I have no direct self experience of that, and would prefer to read the case on him before I vote him to save. I had a bad lean on 112 a couple days ago. I lean town on Alison.

I have no clue on Creature, Ender, Guilliotine, HK, IAWY, Mac I lkean town (but am not sure, since this seems to bother him, I lean wolf on radishes. Michelle, Neon and Nutella, I lean town. Porscha, sig, Sloonei, no clue. At one point I leaned bad on Urist, but don't know anymore.

Like I said to kate, you are looking for a person who hasn't gotten here yet. Very seriously. I'm never solvey on Day 1, I'm tunnely if anything, and I don't like being that way, so i don't go there unless I'm pretty sure.

Unless there is a radical shift in the next 15, I won't have to save, but if I did, it would go to Sean and not you, since he pinged me before and you didn't.

They got between Sabi and Lucy who were kinda "fuck offing" each other. NAI, Marmot's a person who doesn't love conflict, imo.

Made a soft push towards Dennis, but backed off pretty much immediately. Not sure if this is AI or not?

All in all, I was fairly convinced by the bit with Neon (who I had forgotten had been a woof in Holes) who came out of it very civ, marmot not so much.

You know my game better than anyone. I need meta, and I need to find small things. Which is hard for me in this setting.

Generally I kick into gear when it's time to momma bear, when the wolves fuck with someone I care about. Then I hear that little voice in my ear telling me where to look, how to find them. It was there in the last several games, and it helped me find what I was looking for.

Other than Dennis, who was killed by another townie, I have no idea, or real connection to anyone that was killed. I think most of the people who were killed were killed by town. I haven't found anything to latch on to yet.

And also, I don't fucking know what a Lost Wolf is, it isn't a TMI thing or any other kind of stupid jargon I don't understand. I don't know what it is.

That little voice is not there, and that's OK, I should be able to work without it. And I will, but I need to be given my ground to get my feet. This whole "Oh SVS isn't on fire" or whatever else is ridiculous on Day Two.

Now I have to get in there and see what's what.

If it was up to me, I would keep my vote on Marmot, that's the closest thing to the "little thing" I need to latch onto, the thing he said to Neon. That was such a bad look for him.

But it looks like I'll have to vote to save. Of my esteemed competitors, I felt worse about Sean than Rondo, but that seemed to develop today, and I have to read the case on that.

From my perspective, all of this is true whether you’re t! it w! SVS. And maybe there’s some truth to ‘looking for day 3 or 4 svs’ and god knows it’s not easy to play in a thread like this and be busy.

But what have you noticed? What townreads do you have? Who are you trusting and why?

As I said, this was kinda aimed at Kate who will know exactly what I mean.

At this stage, I think Neon is town. I think Marmot is bad. I think Party Dude is 3P. I think Kate is town.

Of the other people with wagons, I think Sean is most likely to be bad. I know I was told Rondo can fake his civ meta, but I have no direct self experience of that, and would prefer to read the case on him before I vote him to save. I had a bad lean on 112 a couple days ago. I lean town on Alison.

I have no clue on Creature, Ender, Guilliotine, HK, IAWY, Mac I lkean town (but am not sure, since this seems to bother him, I lean wolf on radishes. Michelle, Neon and Nutella, I lean town. Porscha, sig, Sloonei, no clue. At one point I leaned bad on Urist, but don't know anymore.

Like I said to kate, you are looking for a person who hasn't gotten here yet. Very seriously. I'm never solvey on Day 1, I'm tunnely if anything, and I don't like being that way, so i don't go there unless I'm pretty sure.

I am not a fan of self meta, but I tend not to be a low poster where I am comfortable. I tend to read too much into posts, which is part of why I got so woefully behind here. But I also tend to write long posts with multi quotes etc., rather than writing multiple short posts as is the fashion now. I took some flak for it in a recent game, so I throttled back on it a bit. But by "now" standards, I'm a lower middle of the pack poster. By OS standards, I was a top 10 poster.

This is fair. And marmot has started to be a runaway. SBSs approach to being in the PoE was to deflect onto another PoE, which has town and wolf interpretations.

Actually, my response was to start getting back to catching up and doing ISO's, and stop being frozen like a deer in the headlights. Someone earlier, Alison, I think, implied this was reactionary on my part and it isn't.

He made a few temp votes, made a case on Cape. He wishied, he washied, which is not totally fair, since I did pretty much quite a bit of the same, tbh.

All in all, I was fairly convinced by the bit with Neon (who I had forgotten had been a woof in Holes) who came out of it very civ, marmot not so much.

Plus I know it's cheesy and weak, two things I dislike, especially in myself, but I was a bit overwhelmed by the massiveness of this thread the first few (calendar) days. I tend to be a meta player, and all the people I didn't know flinging suspish at other people I didn't know for reasons I didn't understand kinda made me freeze a bit. I think I'm starting to find my feet, though.

I don't think it's simply the existence of a vanilla. Sabi's roleflip was weird, but honestly someone not dying isn't good evidence of anything since in (almost) every game I've played with soup, there is some cost to the wolf team to soup, and killing one townie usually isn't worth it.

It would be a good gambit for him, as it was in Game 1 where he was bad, to get Kate in his corner fast. I iso'ed both 112 and Alison so far, null read on 112, they made a great opening post, but kinda petered off after that, and voted with no reason, which isn't my favorite thing. I read Alison, and leaning 3P or maybe town. I might have leaned bad on her if i hadn't seen her react similarly to Golden as she did to Roxy when i spectated Cartomancy. Also i see some of her points on Golden, even if i disagree on Kate.

On feels alone, I think nutella more likely town. I don't recall much of what Marmot or Wilgy said, Scotty is someone I can usually sort quickly, but not here. It may be the giant thread, but all these are in POE for me. I've played with Dyslexicon, but it's been a while, so same there.

Mac isn't really maccing yet, but it would seem that is his day one norm? Last game I played with Michelle she was bad, and nothing like she is here, so lean town. Neon is cavorting with her friend, having fun, posting pictures. Pretty normal for her, I would guess NAI (never seen bad Neon), so also POE. Pyxxy has not made much of an impression on me yet, and I want to read them before trying to form one. They were civ in Holes, and I was positive they were bad. I think Party crasher is 3P. Sig is here, but don't recall much he has said. POE. Sloonei seems detached and waiting for the field to narrow to engage. This seems to kinda be his new meta, being more detached. So POE. TSP is not unlike Falcon for me. Even if i had read all of their posts (and I haven't) I can only read them based on how much i agree/disagree with him.

Everyone else I don't know, have no impression of (except Lily, as her and Neon caught my eye. I asked them a question, wasn't 100% sure how I felt about Lilys answer), and/or haven't really interacted with. Like I said in an earlier post, most people this game seem to be *mostly* sticking to familiar faces, which I guess is normal Day 1. Just more pronounced in a game with this many people.

Rereading this, if i had to vote this minute, it might be for 112. I really liked their first post, but they had a total of only 4 or 5 posts, but that vote for no reason, I didn't like that.

I am going to ISO Cape next, then might skip to Lucy, or might keep up the alphabetical reads. I hope to have a better list by EOD.

No. Actually, it's Too Little Information, tbh. I play a heavy meta game, and not knowing alot of people in a game with 15-18 people is one thing, this is a whole nother. And how would someone have TMI in a closed set up with this many people? Endless possibilities.

So I was not sure she wasn't bad, since I also think she might have tried to avoid me when she's bad (although it's been so long since i can recall the last game where she was bad and I was town; 10 years ago, maybe?).

But her reaction to all of this pretty clearly puts her town for me. She doesn't seem to be spending alot of time worrying about how she sounds. Maybe she's salty for some other reason, or maybe I'm not as all that as I think.

@Neon , @Lilypetal are you two from the same home forum? You seem to have some simpatico, and that could give weight to your readings of each other.
