“Now?”

Tony lifted his glass right up under his nose.

Oh, yes. The different smells and tingles flushed over him, like a symphony for the nose.
Strawberry, coconut, dried moss.

Excellent, he nodded to the sommelier.

“And you?”
The sommelier turned his head towards his date.
His date gave a half smile.

“Let me see… I think I can smell dark berries, and … strychnine, cyanide and tetradotoxin?”

Tony let out a huge shriek of laughter. He couldn’t help himself.
Wine tasting was his absolute favorite!

What's cooking?

Made looked at the various ingredients spread before him. Suddenly, the meal preparation seemed like a mountainous task. He blinked several times, trying to hold his tears back. He didn’t want to be that guy. He already stood out among all the couples around him, chatting, cooking and gulping the wine in front of them.

“And now for the onions.” the instructor said.
Made hastily took a hold of one of the onions and let his knife do its magic.
The tears streamed down his face.
I always get so teary eyed when I chop onions, he grinned. Lips barely moving as he muttered to himself.
Nobody would hear him even if spoke up. The couples were too busy enjoying their date nights.

A meal for two… At least there would be enough food…
And he wouldn’t need to add salt. The heavy crying would see to that.

Garden Gnome stood in her kitchen garden, studying the basil intensely. She had added some to her salad for lunch, but the taste was a strange one. She had cared for the basil to the best of her ability but didn’t seem to have thrived. How odd, she thought, her eyes fixed at the little, green herb, quivering in the light breeze. It looked innocent enough, but she had the distinct feeling she was dealing with a rather precarious, little sprout. How odd indeed.

And odder still, the basked of fresh fruits and vegetables that arrived at her door shortly after her lunch. She found the strawberries particularly pungent.

Day 4

Dana’s eyes teared up; her head barely visible in the bushes she was hiding in. She repressed the urge to blink. She wanted to soak in every moment. Her soulmate, her greatest love, could be seen through the window, the room dimly lit from an ocean of candles. Oh, how she yearned to be inside that very room!

But, no, she needed to stay vigilant!
Nobody could come between her and her love. And if there was one thing she had learned from binge watching Game of Thrones all by herself instead of summoning the courage to just ask her crush out, it was that the night was dark and full of terrors.

This couldn’t be truer this particular night.
Dana’s eyes widened as she saw a hooded figure approaching the window. And what was that in the figure’s hand? Was it one of Kito's dick shaped lollipops or…

STOOOOOOP!

Dana yelled, her eyes filled with tears.
The figure hesitated, then turned towards her.

“Take me instead!” Dana exclaimed and lifted her right arm into a fist for dramatic effect.
The figure approached. Dana could not see the full face hiding behind the large hood, only a row of pearly teeth forming a smirk.

“Wait!” Dana demanded. “I just need to watch this one last time.”
The video had almost two million views on YouTube, one million of them being hers, she was sure. It was her favorite song. Her favorite movie. It was so heartbreakingly romantic! If this was the moment, the moment she had been waiting for, the moment she was to perish in order for her true love to prosper, she wanted this to be the last thing she ever heard. She swiftly reached for her phone.

She was murdered before the first bridge.

Hawkataine's Date Night featuring a thirsty Long Con!

Hawkataine tilted her head upwards. Her eyes reflecting the pink neon light of the rather gaudy looking sign above her.
KARAOKE, it screamed at her, the pink seeming to get brighter the longer she stared at it.

Why had she even agreed to do this?
She could find no good reasons at the moment.
But it was too late to cancel.

She took another huge gulp from her flask and made her way into the bar.
The loudness assaulted her whole body. This have better be worth it, she thought. She had trouble seeing as well, as the time spent staring at the pink light had resulted in a bothersome cloud of acid green ever present in her eyesight.

She ordered a double shot right away. She was too early, but she had to get some courage. Ok, maybe a little bit more courage. “Bart…thendrrr?”

Maybe she should sign up for a song? Maybe it was the booze, but she was suddenly feeling exceedingly free of worry. It probably was the booze, she thought. But what the hell! Why not? If she could practice before her date arrived, all the better! Actually, why even sign up, when she could just practice from the bar?

I ushhed to be frightened of dying
I ushhhed to think death washh the end
But that *burp* was before
I'm not scared anymore
I know that my shhoul will transchhend!

She shouted out, pitch perfect in her opinion.
This was going swimmingly! Who even needs a date when you can have this much fun alone?

I may nevrr find all the ansaws

I may nerr prove
What I know tbe true
But I know that I shtill *brup*

Time for the chorus. She screamed at the top of her lungs:

If I die tomorrow

She closed her eyes and carried the last note as long as she was able to.
When she opened her eyes again, the bar was almost empty.

Long Con had suffered through the whole act, sitting at the other side of the bar from where Hawkataine had been performing. He tried to ignore the whole thing altogether. Poor girl. He signaled to the bartender. “You can have mine. I haven’t touched it”, a voice sounded on his right-hand side. “And I’m not sitting through that”, the voice continued, vaguely gesturing towards the absurd scene on display some feet away from them. Long Con nodded and accepted the drink.

Bad call tbh tbh.

Gavial and JaggedJimmayJay were both targetable by any kill actions on Night 2.

Day 3

Gavial and JaggedJimmyJay stood by the popcorn machine, facing each other. They had been bickering for some time about what movie they should go for. “But I just love horror movies!” Gavial exclaimed. Jimmay was more of a romantic comedy person. “What about this one?” he said, pointing at one of the posters across the hall. To give and receive. A big picture of a young man with long hair in a leather jacket, looking intensely back at the pair. “Isn’t that an English movie?” Gavial wasn’t convinced. “Come on, I’ve heard it’s decent.”

They made their way through the shop, past heaps of mixed candy and some lollipops rather phallic in shape, across the hall to find their seats.

The movie was not a bore. Kito, the main character, was a tough on the outside, mushy on the inside, loveable kind of guy with a penchant for gift giving. Jimmay thought it was very romantic! Gavial and Jimmay stared at the screen. The movie headed towards a climax.

Kito opened his eyes. What on earth was that intense smell? He gasped. His whole room had been filled with roses. What the …? Had one of his admirers finally decided to give him something in return? Had all of his admirers decided to give him something in return??? There was barely room to move because of all the roses!

Kito started to panic. The smell was so intense it made him want to puke. He needed to get out of there, quickly. He struggled through the sea of roses, aiming for the door. He let out a howl. The thorns scraped up his legs, arms, stomach, back, everywhere! Kito’s eyes started watering. That smell! That unbearable smell! He started to throw up, now on the ground, crawling towards an exit, his skin redder and redder as the thorns stuck to his skin like little teeth.

Death by a thousand cuts, Kito thought. He was bleeding severely now. His pale face just a dot among the ocean of needly red and green. These are not normal roses, he thought, before he passed out, never to regain consciousness again.

Gavial loved the death scene. How original, he thought, campy almost.

“Fire!” Jimmay suddenly screamed at the top of his lungs.
“You’re never supposed to yell ‘Fire!’ in a crowded theatre!” Gavial warned him. “I learned that in my free speech class. It’s one of the …”
“Shut up! There really is a fire! Run, you idiot!”
Jimmay had lost all patience. There was no way he would continue to date Gavial after this. They just weren’t a good match.
“Don’t tell me what to do!” Gavial opposed; the feeling of distaste was mutual. He surely was not about to be bossed around by some smartass professor type.

But Jimmay was already on the other side of the screening room. He looked back at Gavial in disbelief. “Run, you fool!” Jimmay hurried out.

But it was too late. Gavial had already begun to feel sleepy. The seats were so comfortable. And warm. Hot, even. Like, really, really hot. This is fine, he thought. This will be fi…

Fire had consumed him.

Owner's Date and Other Romantic Happenings!

At a small wooden bench, Owner sat quietly, lost in thoughts, her face bathed in crimson light from the sunset before her. It felt as though the sky was bleeding, Owner thought. Bleeding like her lonely, yearning heart.

Maybe he was caught in traffic. Or maybe he had to stop on his way in order to fight a giant, fire breathing dragon in order to get to her destination, as she was, in her own mind at the very least, a princess. Yes, that must be it. That would explain her date being five hours late. Dragon slaying does take some time, especially if you’re not terribly experienced.

All she wanted was to experience true love.
But what even was true love?

She let out a scream of frustration. It shot through the cool evening air, scaring a couple of pigeons away who had patiently waited for her to share some of her fruit salad that she had brought with her.

Owner looked down at her fruit salad. She quietly sang to herself. It was an odd tune, almost maniacal in sound.

“Passion fruit, filled with juice,
Will it be a Henry or a Bruce?
Oh, banana, curved and yellow,
When will I meet my handsome fellow?
Pomegranate, you sure are problematic,
My date isn’t here, and that is traumatic.”

Meanwhile, @Gavial had swiped right in nanoseconds once he saw the picture of the dashing man on his screen. Long, luscious hair. A quiet air of mystique, perhaps? It was a match! It was official: He would be going on a date with @JaggedJimmyJay!

Jimmay, on his end, had already picked out his outfit. He had a good feeling about this. This was going to be fire!

Gavial and JaggedJimmyJay will be going on a date this night phase.
They are both effectively jail kept and can only be targeted by killing actions.

@Alison sat alone in her room. What a day! She couldn’t remember ever feeling this exhausted. Almost to the point of nauseous. How odd, she thought. Was this the national day of free fruit juice samples? She had politely said yes to what she was offered, thought she regretted it now.

Better sleep it off, she thought. She was sure she was going to feel better the next day.

Nutella's Date Night!

Nutella studied her reflection in the mirror. Not her worst day, she concluded. She had even bought a new outfit for the date. But she needed to play it smart. Reveal the good parts about herself, and not the darker sides. she could talk about her love of animals, or her advanced finger paint skills. Her favorite color was red. Would a red lip be too much for a first date? She did feel in a good mood. So, she picked up her reddest red from her drawer.

She stared at herself in the mirror, slowly putting lipstick on in thick layers. She moved the lipstick in circular motions. “Pretty. Pretty. Pretty.” she murmured; half her face covered with lipstick. And then she went out to meet her date.

But it didn’t go as planned. Her date just took one look at her when stepping out of the cab, and then stepped right inside it again. She was left alone, heartbroken.
