He was super defensive in Mafia Championship Scrimage game as scum. I've already outlined several other points. I don't like how people are lining up to defend him. There is bound to be teammate behavior among it since he's done nothing town enough to deserve that.

Mafia is more worried about survival IMO. They have to be due to having smaller numbers. In some situations civs can die and not hurt their team, hardly the case with mafia unless there's bussing involved.

Yeah, that's a playstyle point. Some people are more vocal as town tham scum or the other way around. Some people hate being lynched regardless of survival. Others could care less.

Your point to these questions?

This is bullshit. I'm not talking about ika, he can take care of himself but I'm not just screwing around this game. Quote me where I'm doing that. Of course I'm gonna say someone saying, with absolute certainly that I'm scum, is invalid. You believe metalmarsh on that? Why? Great question. What do you think? I don't see much from you this game yet. Give us your thoughts. Right now, I already said what I thought of MP and ika. I don't have a lot of super strong opinions early game and usually don't. So far, You basically said MP would look bad if he ignored ika. So you think he's town then? Is that your only opinion besides jumping on the people lining up to be suspicious of myself and ika at the first opportunity?

Re: Day 1: Attack on Titan Heist: The Battle of Trost

rabbit-Why are you defending MP? We were not bullying him. I told you repeatedly now, behavior I found suspicious and called him on it. No, his gut isn't valid because he never said gut. He said-don't read ika at all in any way by his behavior. I really don't appreciate saying something numerous times and then having my words twisted to mean something they didn't. I thought this behavior was suspicious and called him on it and I stated why. So you can twist that around, and put your own spin on it if you want, but the meaning is the same. I'm not gonna repeat myself over and over and say the same thing.

Also, if everyone is gonna start pairing ika and I up again, I'm gonna get irate. Just because we know each other IRL and are very good at figuring each other out in these games does not mean we are the same person. Read us differently.

And I will not sit here and be the focus of numerous interrogations either while other people who have barely spoken, get to set back and do nothing. That's another thing that frustrates the hell out of me in these games. The active people get scumread and the under the radar people stay that way.

:|

Silver, why do you think you're allowed to explain to us how ika plays and MP can not share his sentiments?

This seems very odd.
I already explained what I thought MP was doing. I never said he can't explain his sentiments. He came in here and told everyone that ika is always like this and not to read him any certain way which just looks like he's trying to inhibit reads. This behavior continued for a good part of his early game, where he was unusually adamant about people not having reads or giving reads this early. It made very little sense as town play because he's shutting down discussion and anyone from trying to get reads. So yeah, I called him out on that.

Name one thing I've done this game so far that can make you so certain I'm scum. One thing in my behavior or motivation this game that gives you such a sure scumread. Go for it. I have caught scum trying to mislynch me in several games before so if that's your angle, I will find that out soon enough. But you better talk about it and not avoid me. No I am not. I am town and I have zero patience or tolerance for someone calling me scum for no reason and voting me. If you don't give good reasons for your behavior, and for ignoring ika who is very accurate reading me, then I'll assume you are scum trying to mislynch me and vote you back until one of us is dead. Re: Attack on Titan Heist: The Battle of Trost

OK MP, Just because I expressed a mild scumread on you and said I would vote for you based on your posts to that point, doesn't mean it can't change. Read should be fluid and the game just started. My read on you was not because I was defending ika, even though you are hinting that it is. The main reason I was slightly scumreading you was because it appeared to me, you were trying to keep people from generating a read on ika by telling everyone not to scum or town read him based on his behavior, telling ika all his reads were bogus, telling everyone that no one should be having reads right now, etc and basically making it harder for people to come in here and try to get reads or have a discussion about it.

My point is, even if it's nothing but gut, reads give us something to talk about. They generate discussion. So I see it as slightly scummy to be so concerned about that right now. You can disagree with the validity of those reads, but I don't see a reason to dismiss them outright like you did.

Anyway....................

I suggest you take this to the MoD now. You've had a bad attitude since the game began and there's no reason to come in here and act this way. If you don't like how ika is playing, do your own thing and ignore it. No reason to raise such a fuss. It distracts the game, irritates people, and stops those who are here for the first time from having a good impression of our community.

But it's clear we play in the exact opposite manner possible. My questions are in an attempt to understand where your reads are coming from and if you can't give me literally any post or even very small reason why your gut reacted a certain way I just won't be able to put any stock in your opinions. It's not discrediting. You could be either alignment, and so could anyone. I can only uncover who is mafia by attempting to uncover who is lying and I can't uncover whether you are lying when everything is based on "gut". There is no basis by which I can judge your thought process because you're not letting me in. I say all of this to explain where I'm coming from, not to discredit you or your opinions. Everyone is not out to "discredit" you if they disagree with you.

So I know I and others would appreciate if you come to reads going forward if you can at least provide some semblance of a reason so we can start to understand how your mind is coming to these conclusions.
Everyone has their own playstyle MP. Gut is a perfectly valid reason this early in the game. Why are you trying to tell others how to play? If we could vote, I'd vote you right now.

I've seen the show frankly you're damning if you do and damning if you don't no way to avoid getting eaten. The safest option might be to help evacuate, however then you might need to worry about the citizens rioting or you getting killed in the chaos.

Hiding isn't very good you can/will get eaten, commit suicide, or get smushed by buildings.

Fighting on the front lines well that is dangerous since you're fighting giant man eating titans, however I think it is the best bet to pick right now. Dangerous yes, but I think it is better then the alternatives. Especially since we should be helping to destroy the titans.
insertnamehere wrote:If we wanted to really overanalyze the poll, we could say that evacuating is the selfless, civilian option while hiding and cowering is the selfish, villain option. In this reductive point of view, going to the front lines is the neutral option.

Or maybe it's a bluff, and the effects are intentionally different.

Or maybe it's a double-bluff, and we're supposed to discard the obvious answer in order to trick us into tomfoolery.

Or maybe I'm really, really overthinking this.
Goldy wrote:Yo! I'm in front line.
Fighting in frontline is better than any other option I think if it really helps to kill a titan, while doing nothing is most scummy thing but on other side helping to evacuate people is much likely neutral thing.

After looking at all these, I'm going with front lines. It's the best shot at actually killing a Titan so why not? Also, I am ashamed to admit I just now saw this so:

OK, so we vote on helping evacuate which I think is not really a good choice because it doesn't force anyone to take a hard stand.

Or support the front lines or stay here and hide. I'm not familiar enough with the show to know which one of these is the best. Who is familiar enough to know this and what do you think?
