Pyxxy was John Doe. Dennis was Pride.

Pyxxy chose to use the pride role on n1, and chose to roleswap with Dennis. Roleswapping causes you to die one night later.

Dennis gets outed on day 2. He's fine with it cuz he can just roleswap his way out on night 2. So at no point does he give a shit. Kate knows this also because they had BTSC hence why she specifically ate the chop on purpose. So Dennis could get to night and swap out.

If the above were true, Dennis would die tonight and we're completely wasting a chop.

Conviction that Pyxxy was John Doe and roleswapped himself out of the game intensifies.

Also note that I have attempted extensive play testing with the balance of this game, and while I think it is as fair as I can make it, it is a role madness type where things can swing wildly depending on choices made. In the spirit of all things transparent, there are elements to this game that some might consider “unconventional”:
-There is vote manipulation tied to role abilities.
-3rd Parties have the opportunity to change alignment in this game, and have been notified as such.
-There are no jesters, no death millers, no resurrections. All lynch reveals will be genuine, with alignment given. Most importantly, host posts and messages directly from me will never lie.
All relevant info will be revealed postgame.

@MacDougall the rules say full roles reveal for yeets, and only names with other deaths.

Taking it in good faith the long and short of it is I don't really see the benefit in further unpacking the random speculation I made 24 hours ago that I abandoned while making the post.

Summarised for your benefit:

Pyxxy seemed to slip that there is a "role solving" element to the sins prior to flipping.

He died and didn't role flip which makes me wonder why he flipped differently to Kate who full flipped.

Presently wondering whether that is simply because he was already mafia or not.

Fact that he was already mafia means that two people opening gifts as in the case of Kate is not the only way to become mafia. So trying to work out whether the hidden part of JD's visible role is how that works, or whether Rondo's idea that they become mafia when their counterpart dies is what happens (which he has now suggested he no longer believes).

Trying to figure it all out because:

a) Dennis and Kate both seem/seemed way to eager to bite it which makes me sus that killing sins isn't good enough
b) If role swapping is real, then that lends itself harder to the notion that killing sins isn't good enough
c) It's a game, i'm into it, curious about stuff and it feels worthy of discussion?
