Re: Battlestar Galactica Mafia - Day Three

I'm also fine with a Nero vote.

Vote Nerolunar

I've got a bad gut read and his actions surrounding nutella were odd.

I wouldn't mind an LC lynch, but right now I think we need unity and I also think Nero is mafia so I have no problem voting for him. Now I've gotta go to sleep.

Also I'm seriously considering voting for Glorfindel he only answered one portion of Gman's case and he seemed super defensive which I seem to remember is a baddie tell of his. However, I need to think on it since I have been wrong about him before.

Another thing which bothered me is him civ reading me. Civ Glorfindel always thinks I'm mafia or at the very least he is paranoid agaisnt me, he seemed to civ read me way to quickly this game. It could be an attempt to buddy me or just to get credit if I flipped.

Re: Battlestar Galactica Mafia - Day Three

I can't seem to ever read Lorab, but she could be mafia this game. I can't quite recall her doing anything very pingy besides voting for LC over nutella. So I could see it, but I'm unsure.
I think it's more likely Nero or Daisy are mafia based around their stances on nutella.

linki: @juliets the second post was me being cheeky which is why I put the emoticon. I was still at that point considering an Epi lynch though now I've changed my mind.

Good points Gman, I'd need to think about it Glorfindel isn't being his usual very civvie self, but doesn't seem to be very scummy either. Though he has been more lurkery this game.

linki 2: @Epi we can't lynch her today due to the Presidents law. However, her claiming is odd though she says she isn't a member of the mafia team so idk.

~ is pinged by Daisy's stance on nutella and on the last players to vote nutella
~ keeps on drumming on Epignosis being lynched

I find evidence to be not favorable to sig, but I can't put a final finger on what would profile him as a certain teammate. He had all the right preparation to wagon on Long Con. Did he get scared of being too obvious of a counter-wagoner (if indeed nutella's teammate)? His Epignosis vote only makes sense if you count his obstinancy in Epig needing to be lynched. I'm not sure how to interpret him berating Daisy for defending nutella. It could be a cover-up, it could be a genuine ping, but it is also contradictory to him not finding nutella lynchworthy himself.
.
So the issue I had with Daisy is that I didn't like the way she did it. It was very on the fence type of defense. Unlike what I did, I flat out said I'd rather she didn't get lynched since I didn't see the case.

I like I think it was 3J case on Nero and his reactions around nutella was odd, I could place my vote there.

What is the case on Lorab?

Did anyone get anything from that back and forth between Zebra and JJJ? Since it seemed like 3J was pinged by Zebra saying LC was almost confirmed town, and then they got in an argument about a question?

Furthermore why is LC close to confirmed at all? People are saying he was the counterwagon to Nutella, however how do we know they weren't teammates? I just find it very odd LC wouldn't vote to save himself unless they were on the same team, or if he knew the resurrection ship would bring him back.

Also I'm done the second draft of my paper if all goes well it will be the last draft and my activity should hopefully pick up this week.

I don't really doubt your opinion, no. At least not its sincerity. I am a little suspicious of sig for his interactions with nutella.
So Say We All!
May I call you Jimmy? 3J seems a little impersonal... Looking at his interactions with Nutella kinda proves my point. Take this post:
sig wrote:Okay so I'm considering three people for today.

Epi, He is an outed Cylon and with the ship gone I'd like to see if we can lynch him and how he will flip. If he flips mafia then we know most cylons are bad. I also think he could've been the one to kill Ika, seeing how Ika was pushing to lynch Epi again. So I'm leaning towards mafia on Epi.

So here is a thought, in past games civs or mafia members could create events, usually polls but I've seen events before. Could there be no resurrection ship and this is all a ploy created by the cylons?
Maybe Epi just had a lynch proof power or something?

I don't see the reasons for a nutella lynch or for Rico.
We already know Epi is a Cylon and his identity, what more information is he expecting to gain from lynching him  As for his assertion that the whole resurrection ship thing was a ploy created by the Cylons  To me, this is indicative of someone struggling to keep up as a consequence of external factors, not Mafia alignment.
Yes, but we didn't know what alignment Epi was. At that time since nobody else was lynched I thought we'd see who was bad. For the record I'm still not agaisnt an Epi lynch. Also it could've been a ploy created by the cylons to distract us like a troll event. :P
But, that is neither here nor there anymore.

Ugh fine, obviously I'm the super minority here. I'll ISO Epi over the night phase and see what I think and I'll take into consideration what they've said. However, I still don't believe we should put to much weight in the show. Take the Final five for example whatever they are they've been randomized and aren't the same people as they were in the show. I think getting to deep into the shows lore isn't good, especially with some of the text in game. You'll be seen as a cylon sympathizer if you don't say this ect.

Well, two reasons...

1) He joke voted Epi on Day One and got us a Cylon. A good cylon, but still.

2) Curiously, he is listed as "Marmot" on the poll, and I know Golden already "explained" it, but I can't help feel that it makes Marmot special somehow. :ponder:

Why are you assuming Epi is a good cylon? You've got no proof what so ever of this.

@Juliets we have no evidence pointing to this being true, and Golden said it wasn't necessary to have knowledge about the show. I think in the sign ups when looking at the roles it makes it kind off clear the cylons are the mafia. I believe they're the ones with the nightkill and they're the ones who we are activity hunting. I mean every six hours we are sending two civs out to try and blow up their ships. I don't see how everyone here is taking for granted that Epi must be a civ.

This was done in Turf Wars to and he turned out to be mafia.

I still believe Epi is bad and should be lynched.
I mean this is like if we had a game where the cop claimed a red check and yet we didn't lynch the player who was red checked, since they might not be bad. The cylons look like the mafia it makes sense for them to be the mafia, we have a cylon who wasn't lynched since their resurrection ship was floating around and came back. Yet we aren't lynching him today why? This baffles me.
You should go stand in the corner of you Cylon ship and think about what you just said.
hmm MAKE ME. :meany:

Why do you think he's good?
He's being stubborn, not manipulative.
I agree. This is not a baddie LC I see here.
Fine then maybe LC isn't bad, just misguided about me.

@Epi if you're both cylons and he can be resurrected then why wouldn't you distance vote.
Because that would be obvious and stupid? :meany:
So it makes sense why you and LC would come up with it then? :cloud9:

:P
