See, in a previous life I would be voting for lomo right now, as I was wont to do for >80% if my mafia career, voting no/low posters on D1, but last game, someone convinced me that those slots would be resolved eventually and wouldn’t give enough info if they were lynched D1 and happened to be town.

But I don’t like the excuse that you can just skate by on D1. It’s lame

there is an 83% chance ur role will succeed, 17% it will be insane, the chance for failing to use i didnt take into equation cuz it would just muddy it

i would personally use the doctor the most, that seems great

coz u know for a fact if it will be insane, and u will survive to see the result that is insane

then u can claim it ITT and become lock town (because mafia members cant give role to another mafia member)

i probably wouldnt use the other roles, setup is already more townsided than mountainous 12v3 coz even if we play full vanilla we have at laest 1 PR that has a claim, and potentially some goodies with it if mafia PR chopped

True RE not using the vig role, and honestly even the doctor. I mean, I feel like using it early won’t hurt town completely if it blows up in your face, but definitely holstering and waiting if numbers start to dwindle can be bad news bears if you’re wrong

so I was doing some thinking in my study last night and realized that if you receive a role in the night, odds are greater that it is a sane role, considering the 25% chance of insanification. So it makes sense to use it IF you use probability as the main factor. Anyone disagree?
