A new game thread will also go up sometime tonight. New game will begin at what was supposed to be the Day 1 deadline time tomorrow.

Attention players: due to some comical misfortune, it has become necessary for me to cancel this game and start a new one. I wanted to do this sooner rather than later so as to not waste everyone’s time.

I apologize for this inconvenience. I am locking this thread. A new one will go up in its place shortly. You will all receive new rolecards within the next 24 hours if you would still like to play in the re-started game. If you want out, just let me know via PM, either here or on Discord (Sloonei#5096), and I’ll look for a replacement. If I do not hear from you, you will receive a new rolecard for the new game.

The re-start will feature the exact same setup, but with 14 players, rather than 15. All roles will be identical to this game, but they will be redistributed to players at random. Player roles/alignments in this game will have no bearing on the re-started version.
However, I still ask that you do not discuss the re-start or your roles from this game in the new one once it is underway. I would also ask that you refrain from discussing this game while we wait for the new one to start.

If we can achieve a full 14-player roster in time, I intend to start the new game exactly 24 hours from now (6 PM EST on Tuesday).

I apologize again, and thank you all for your cooperation.

As of right now, I do need exactly 1 new player to step in for the re-start. If you’re not in this game but would like to play, PM me.

Day 1

The bees of the Syndicate Beehive pride themselves on the quality of their honey. They may not produce the most liquid gold in the land, but they're not gonna put their stamp on anything that's not top notch, you can rest assured of that!

There are some out there, however, that would seek to bring them down, topple their honey empire. And still there are others that just like eating honey and have no respect for the hard work of bees. In a time of peril, the Syndicate Bees must band together to rid themselves of threats both internal and external.


It is Day 1. You have 48 hours to sting somebody.

The setup: Beesparado!
  • 12 Vanilla Town vs. 3 Mafia Goons
  • On Night 2, the Mafia team must select one Town player to receive a 1-shot daykill. Selected player must be different than the Nightkill target. If the Mafia team neglects to submit a name, a target will be selected at random AND they will be unable to perform a kill that night.
  • The selected player will be granted a 1-shot daykill ability on Day 3. They must shoot during that phase. Failure to do so will result in that player's death.
    • Note: In the standard "Desperado" setup, the player with the gun will die instead of their target if they shoot at a civilian. I think that's silly, and the shot will be functioning as a normal daykill in this game; whoever is targeted will get shot.
    • Last minute rule change: I have decided to use the standard Desperado mechanic: the player who is given the gun on Night 2 must shoot correctly or they die themselves instead of the player they target.
  • Full claiming is legal.
  • Days 1-3 will feature plurality voting. From Day 4 onward, a hybrid plurality/majority vote will be enabled: if a player receives more than half of all possible votes at any point during a phase they will be eliminated immediately. If this does not happen, the player with the most votes at the end of 48 hours will be eliminated. Exception at LYLO.


Other Rules
~ Day phases will last 48 hours. Night phases will last 24 hours. The thread will be locked at Night. We will do our best to ensure consistent deadline times.
~ Votes must be cast in the poll to be official. Additionally, players are encouraged to call their votes in the thread via [VOTE: vote tags] aubergine.
~ When no Majority is available or reached, the player with the most votes at the end of the Day will be eliminated (plurality). When Majority is is available, a player is eliminated immediately upon receiving more than half of all possible votes in the poll for that phase (Ex.: with 15 players the majority would be 8).
~ Any questions about the setup or game mechanics should be sent to the host in private.
~ Remember above all else that we are playing a game with friends on the internet. Bee kind and respectful to one another. If, however, you become frustrated with anything in the game at any time, you are encouraged to contact the game's MoD to discuss your issues outside the game thread. For this game, the MoD is juliets.
~ This is the Host color. All official host announcements will be made using this color. Players should try to avoid using it in their own posts.
