I don’t even remember my first victory here. But I joined at the end of the era when you needed to survive to win. I wasn’t credited with a win in Rocky & Bullwinkle, for instance, even though town won (and I was largely responible for catching one of the baddies before I died, just saying, i’m not harboring a grudge or anything after all these years that would be ridiculous)

Actually i think the first game I was credited with a win was Arrested Development, but that shouldn’t count. I was lynched Day 1 as town (because Jay was hosting) and then subbed back in the next day, this time as scum. But by then the cop (spacedaisy, i think) had nailed the entire team, so I was just stepping straight into a noose. I was a winner by default because I was a member of both factions. :goofp:

good times, folks, good times.
Honestly I felt like that suspicion was perceived to be a lot stronger than it really was. Juliets was a Day 1 suspect. Those come and go and can be dropped in an instant. I’m just loud and had some concerns about her play that day which hadn’t been alleviated. But I was never hellbent on making sure she got lynched, and I was always listening to counteragruments.

Haha I didn't lie when I told you I was tired of losing, that's why I kept checking everything. Imagine all the civilians losses on TS, and double them 'cause of my loses on NF. Another reason was to appear as I was still trying to solve the game to get ahead of any late case built by Llama :p

The Mac kill was a hail Mary, because I couldn't see any way to talk you guys out of voting me with a juliets or sloonei kill, so I was hoping the Mac kill would be weird enough to shake your confidence.
Unfortunately it was also easy enough to discern that that kill was intended to shake our confidence. But I don’t know where else I would have turned in that situation.

This game was more a town win than a scum loss. You guys played well through Day 2, and then after that all the civs made themselves impossible to suspect. Thanks for the good fight, animals.

I still think it would be useful to take a dive into mongoose’s posts to see if anything new shakes loose, but I don’t have the time right now, nor do I feel a sense of urgency. Everything nova has done this game just makes me read him more strongly as town, and the only way juliets is scum is if llama has a counterclaim that he’s been neglecting to share with us since Day 2.

Only if we feel that will increase our chances of winning. But I can’t fathom a universe where it’s not llama. You are virtually clear and nova is oozing towniness and has been all game. If you want to check in on my Mongoose interactions, go ahead.

I’m vanilla and have been all along. It was my analysis of juliets’ claim and the matrix that brought about the circumstances for Luna to claim, and then I eventually deduced that she was probably telling the truth.

I intend to look into this during the day phase. But right now I simply read nova and mac too strongly as civilians. Even if I had no evidence suggesting that you are bad, my POE would be whittled down to you. That I was able to paint a picture of you and mongoose as a scum pairing with no trouble at all is just an extra layer of icing on the cake.

I don’t say this to discourage you if you are indeed town, I’m just saying that’s where we’re at right now. This game makes the mosr sense to me if you are bad. I encourage you to convince me otherwise.

Re: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia [NIGHT 3]

Mongoose's partner knew she was a goner today, or at least greatly anticipated it. There wasn't a speck of resistance to that lynch. The only slight concern I had today was that we were completely off about her and today's lynch was losing us the game, hence the quiet thread down the stretch. But as that was not the case, it seems the quiet on their part was motivated more by an impulse not to give us any more of a trail than we might already have.

Nothing about this is at all incompatible with a Llama/Mongoose pairing, as has been assumed for a while now. But for the sake of being thorough, it may be worth it to go over Mongoose's posts one more time, and maybe some interactions from Day 3. But there's another game that deserves my attention (and nova's. and Mac's) right now.

It reads like he and mongoose conspired to get this narrative out there quickly and on their own terms so that the issue could be swept under the rug (hence also treating colin as a friend most of the day).

Llama was not the only one who took issue with the No Lynch votes. I did too, and I was not alone in that prior to llama’s entry into the game.
How is it a "softball setup"? I demanded an explanation and I got one that satisfied me. I'm confused about how you think I should have asked that question.
"Softball setup" was juliets' way of framing it, but I did co-sign it so I guess I'm in this with her.

It felt like a sterile question. You seemed to frame it somewhat deliberately and then she seemed too well prepared in her response to it. It was apparently one of the two most pressing issues for you at the start of the day, but you accepted her story right away and did not bring it up again.
It definitely didn't feel softball. That would have been so easy to let it sneak by if we were on the same team. No one had even dang ole brought it up yet.
It was a huge topic of discussion Day & Night 1, and llama asked that question first thing on Day 2.

Mongoose wrote: Sun Mar 17, 2019 10:51 am There were seemingly better candidates. I was far from the only person to suspect Luna. The game is young. This is the first heist I've ever played (oof this pacing), so maybe that explains why everyone is so concerned with my lack of Day 1 pings and non-aggressive stance on Day 2. Back int he day, I just don't remember such drama over not having a lot of day 1 reads. It's a little baffling to me. I'm not the type to throw something out there and watch what happens. I don't disagree with that style, it's just not me.
These words were typed during this very night phase. Earlier in the game, however, she expressed the following frustration with the state of affairs:

I’m on board.
With what, exactly?
Relax, not your lunch. Baddie hunting. Someone is leading us around by the noses, and I’m sick of it.
Do these posts reflect a cohesive civilian mindset? In the earlier two posts, she seems frustrated with the lack of success civilians are having. In the latest post, she excuses her avoidance of llama behind an apparent nonchalance over the state of the game.
I wasn't trying to chastise anyone, far from it. Someone is duping the group, and it's not me.
I was not accusing you of chastising anyone. This addresses none of my concerns.

Is there anything I need to know? I scanned through and it didn't look like llama or Mongoose have been here today is that right?
The poll is still open for another 24 hours.
