Thanks so much to each of you for joining us in this crossover game. It's the third of its kind we've run here, the previous two being with rateyourmusic.com and HeroClixRealms. Those previous two crossovers forged lasting cross-community friendships that have very much shaped our own site and community. Personality Cafe and now Mafia Cafe have already given us good friends, including a number of you mentioned in this post that have already played here a bit and of course the MoD @Hally and host @Dyslexicon as well as others who weren't in the game like @Thunal33 and @Scirrus. This game was a great experience, and it takes great folks to make it that way. And I am absolutely certain from experience that not every Mafia community has the kind of culture that would work in a game like this. I played one game on PerC myself a few years ago and have been thinking about a crossover here ever since.

Way back before champs season 3 I ran a scrimmage on this site to prepare two of our representatives (Sloonei for RYM and Golden for The Syndicate) for their tournament appearances. Dizzy randomly joined us to get practice himself, and I like to think that was the start of something special -- one of the best things to happen to The Syndicate, and this game is the brilliant culmination.

I can only imagine my rage if we didn't luck into the Act elimination on dubious reasoning and ended up losing to a win thief.

I have never experienced that before.

Both of those damned lists change every game now. Why did we do this to ourselves?

I hope I didn't irritate anyone inordinately in this game. I try to contain the competitor within me, and usually I do a better job than I did in this one. There were moments where I may have been too much, and if so I apologize.

It actually reached 8 votes and a tie for like a millisecond, unless my eyes deceived me or there was a poll glitch. I didn't have the presence of mind to screen cap it before it returned to 8-7. This was within seconds of the poll closing. Someone needs to own up to that.

That was me. I had a split-second urge to get rid of made but then decided against it because I felt any chop would help solve there. Coincidentally, all the wagons were mafia lol.

I debated spilling the beans about it and asked the hosts if me getting chopped prevents my heal on d2. It wouldn't prevent it, but I decided against sharing it since I figured it would only do harm.

Mystery solved.

You were probably wise to just not admit it, particularly when everyone forgot it happened. Especially after Made died it would have looked fishy.

@MartinGG99 you were absolutely a part of this win. You were a suspect for most people literally the whole game and are still standing here. That's not just because of Alison's support.

GREAT WORK.

These crossover events are the absolute highlights of the Syndicate community for me, and I know what it's like to run one of them. This game was wonderfully conceived on various dimensions: a lovely theme, brilliant incorporation of the two-community dynamic, and excellent balance. Give yourselves numerous pats on the back for a fabulous Mafia game, and thank you both.

IIRC he's confirmed investigative due the casual lovers thing + confirming LoMo on d2 (or at least has an investigative ability). It would be quite unlikely for him to have healed Garden Gnome, presuming Garden didn't protect herself. Also presumes poisoner had no limitations.

Of the non-POE PerC duo, I am less confident in my town read on lost monkey. I still feel good about it, but I would listen to theories to the contrary.

I will end my part in this exchange. If you're not mafia, Mac, you have all of Day 7 to figure out who is. And whatever mood you're in that may try to convince you otherwise: I will be reading and considering whatever you say. I probably won't even respond to it, at least not immediately, because I will be deep in thought. This is not smarm.

Gnome is more likely to be chopped today than you are. So the floor is yours.

To me this reflects a mechanical case against Mac as well, which is fitting given he was the second-last to claim a role. I'm not dead set on Gnome first but will respect the inclinations of the team at large.

Frankly Mac already conceded, so I would be open to killing him even today.

If I had to give an order of chops within my POE, I think it'd be: Gnome --> Mac --> Martin

The last three mafia night kills can be traced to Mac in some manner or another. Seanzie and Sloonei were both clearly anti-Mac at the times of their deaths. Nanook was hush hush on his Mac view, but is someone who understands Mac pretty well (and per Esooa viewed him as POE-worthy) -- a threat by meta.
