[mention]Myo[/mention] you recently corrected yourself about Long Con suspecting Sloonei and Mac. You realized you had that wrong. Does that impact your read on Long Con at all?

Understandable perspective. But my name is Jay and I don't concern myself with all of that. I make reads in the moment and go with my intuition -- which is ever-changing. Being consistent is the easiest thing a mafioso can do.

I'm less gung-ho about lynching him than I was this time yesterday. Tentatively and vaguely.

With 9 players alive we're at 6 vs. 2 (+1), so there is some urgency to solve the game right now. Pending the independent's purpose, one wrong move means at least MyLo. This also calls for a POE pool of three. I know this is not and has not been a game friendly to solving, but I think a leap of faith or two can bring us within reach.

Fuck it, you're town tier - I can question any of these, but at this point I don't care. Either by evidence, by tone, or by both, I can come up with some reason to call these four people civilians.

Removing one of these four would be a big help. motobot may be worth consideration, as tedxtr was decently vocal in his defense just before getting shot. I would prefer some new posts come to our doorstep though.

Eh, I feel that this deserves a little push-back. Couching your own opinions in someone else's reasoning strikes me as creating

This is virtually doing nothing. In here, the mindset is to...correct me, instead of...deducing my alignment. It lacks a certain inquisitive switch that turns on after reading a post like mine and just resorts to telling me why I'm wrong and not what that means for my alignment.

Not only is it very hard to grasp what she means here (if you got it, please simplify it for me) but she HERSELF didn't really know what Soneji was talking about when mentioning the "salad" thing. How do you expect to be right in your reasoning by correcting me when you have no idea what salad is or if it's even relevant to ask. My argument was hinging on the fact that it's a useless question, Myo defended it saying it wasn't but Soneji's post didn't really further anything. Might fall down a rabbit hole here, but I don't really get how you can say a question is useful if you don't know what the content of it is.

I get good vibes from MacDougall. He talks a lot and it’s jokey and chaotic while still being *mostly* on topic. Chatter generates more chatter and a talkative town certainly has more momentum behind them, so I like that he’s been consistently active in the earliest phases.

The more talkative someone it, the easier it is to get a good feel of their affiliation so this kind of play-style is riskier for a wolf to take on without really getting the benefit of derailing the town, since he’s been mostly on topic.

I like the rapid-fire comments because it seems like he’s saying what’s on his mind here and now without bothering to think though how other people are going to read his comments.

Some of his comment come across as deliberately trying to get under people’s skin? I don’t love the tone of all of them but riling people up to see their reactions isn’t a bad way to get a feel for alignments, although a bit mean IMO.
I just get massive TMI vibes here, I think she's going through the motions of sorting. It's not something very relevant or it's not showing a progression as to how she got to the read.

"Mac posts a lot so he's town" but with a bunch of other words to inflate the importance of the read and it being actually genuine.

He’s calling it an uninspiring read. What else you got?

Things that stand out:

Lon Con. Decent number of comments but a lot are arguing about his credit for the Jackofhearts2005 lunch. The beating of a dead horse is ehhhhhhh to me. Reading it back it seems very obvious to me that he isn’t going to get people to agree with him but he keeps going. Strikes me a bit as thread derailment, but it was a night phase, so I’m not actually sure how much merit this point holds since there was no lynch voting ongoing.

JaggedJimmyJay flips between calling Sloonei suspicious last phase to ranking him town this phase with no reasoning to the switch that I’ve seen. As I’ve said, I don’t particularly like rapid flip-flops on alignment with no reasoning behind the switch, it comes across to me as throwing things out and seeing what gets picked up by others and then moving on from the rest.

After writing this comment I realise that you are the Sloonei I was referring to.

Also, what on earth is linki? I've seen it written a few times. Sorry for all the clarification questions, the new jargon has been a bit overwhelming.
Things that stand out:

Mac is being town read for "saying whatever's on his mind" but Long Con is derailing the thread when he's speaking his mind.

I think I'm at a point where I'm already locked on this read, I'm like...70% confident, if you want a rough estimate.

I don't know if I have enough clout to pull this off, but thankfully it's on a low poster so people will be incentivized to vote. I encourage voting here.

I don't think he jailed sig, or that order of operations wouldn't exist. Myo is still plausible. I am checking the full ISO.

Myo is a possibility. I do note however that ted moved his vote to sig less than 30 minutes after he placed that initial Day 3 Myo vote.

The game state feels weird because nobody is really talking about the people that they know. You have easy reads between each other, start forming town cores and then we can see if there's scum out of the vets.

There's slight pushes on Long Con and sig. Read their ISOs, give a conclusion, that's where the general consensus goes as to "they might be scum, but ehhhhhhhhhh", or at least how I see the game state.

I don't think this is entirely inaccurate. I believe the larger problem is that this game is "active" for <half the roster and inactive for the rest. So if there are mafia among the actives, they are inordinately hard to find here because we're stuck sorting the unsortables. And if there are mafia among the unsortables, there are no reliable ways for us to determine which one is the right one beyond barely-educated guessing.

I think Long Con looks like a civilian when he gets his cranky attitude going; I acknowledge it can be faked. I think sig looks bad in general and would lynch him first.

I'll say that Myo's EOD wasn't quite as pure as Spacedaisy's had been before her. It was enough to make me think a different direction was warranted, and unfortunately I interpreted some of Soneji's last posts wrongly.

I haven’t nearly the faith in my reads that I’d like to have on any Night 3. This is the game though, and I have tried numerous ways to fix that. I could have lynched literally seven people yesterday.

This is not an environment where my methods are likely to be effective. I’m trying to adapt; I am afraid there are limits to that.

I was considering it, but I'm going between posting in two other games as well. So yes having you meld with my thoughts, and vote on a wagon I'm interested in, helped decide things sooner than they otherwise might have been. Townies get swayed by momentum and go with the flow more than elsewise, and it's interesting you are scumreading me for not being rigid considering earlier comments on my play.

I don't object to "that looks like a Jack/sig" team as a Day 1 snap read. On Day 3, I think there are better reasons to suspect sig in his own posts.
