I think the quality of the discourse in here has taken a sharp turn south since Desmond became relevant to our lives. I suggest we refocus. I felt decent about the trajectory of our hunt before all of this nonsense, and it is creating considerable distraction.
You don't have to ignore it or forget about it, but I advise putting a muzzle on it or something to prevent it from devouring your view of the game.

Re: Assassin's Creed Mafia (D3)
Guys if the mafia team had some super secret kill that they could just win with after this lynch, then there's no reason for the present drama to even exist.
They let us lynch literally whoever, their teammate or otherwise, and then use that kill to win. This is silly.

Without actually claiming your roles, I have a general question:
Does anyone else out there have a role that made them question how it can even make mechanical sense -- i.e. even using it would potentially screw you?

The swing potential of such a thing is immense. The design doesn't make sense to me if A) is even possible though.

Epignosis

Re: Assassin's Creed Mafia (D3)
The makeup of Tony's role, as it is described, seems wack.
Suppose a civilian gets this role. "You can kill Karen The Assassin's Creed Character on an odd night".
If Karen is a civilian, then than role is explicitly crippled. It has no purpose but to ruin the civilians; it is bastardized.
If Karen is a mafioso, then it's just a free kill without requiring any investigative work? Eh?

Could be valid. I've a vague memory of a connection that could be drawn three-ways from TH to Tony through speedchuck. speed was awkwardly antagonistic of Turnip Head in a way that he wasn't of most others -- with the exception of Tony (I think; I need to verify). There's room for a trend to emerge wherein a mafioso speedchuck telegraphed his teammates by being too mean to them.
