8-Ball [Heist]

Greetings! This is a setup I recently found in the MafiaWiki. It is aimed at only 8 players, so I think we can have a game with no post count restrictions and maybe even 48/24 phases without it being too long or tiring.

The setup is:

6 vanilla townies
2 mafia goons

But there is one twist. Before each day phase (Day 0 and then each Night Phase), mafia must predict who will be eliminated/yeeted/chopped next day. If they get it right, they will earn their kill in the following night. If they get it wrong, they don't get to make a night kill. So, like in billiards, mafia must call which balls they want to pocket before they hit it.

So while mafia has a high proportion of players, they have pressure to eliminate the players they called in the previous night. And this creates an element of analysis for townies to take advantage of.
