I havent reread but I don't like Gman's vote yesterday in retrospect. He spend the whole day not doing much besides suspecting falcon for a derp, and then joined the Gavial thing when it built up. The vote itself isn't that bad, the overall activity is. He did make a few game related posts but they are full of pointless takes like "dolby is multiquoting" or "why is NAA specifically voting for people with old accounts".

I have some pause because Gman is misyeet bait, but imma put my vote there for now.

Sorry falcon, I wrote that post in a rush so it may have sounded arrogant.

The thing is in the past I would make big ISO posts of players I wanted to yeet, but in reality it was all a bunch of confirmation bias since I did want to yeet them anyway and the posts didn't actually prove anything.

Nowadays I may make ISOs sometimes, but the case better be really solid. If not, I'll really go with the guy I want and make small comments here and there that sum up what I think.

For Dolby, I see a contrast between this game and TF, and the things he is saying feel weak and non-commital.

For Gavial, it's the fake claims (likely) and the anti-town play.

For the others I don't have anything good besides the good old "there's likely mafia hidden among that crowd" logic.

I have written all reasons I had before in all my posts, as well as a wall of text explaining why I don't like like forcing myself to do detailed analysis (they seem to be less accurate than RNG unless I actually have good reasons to begin with). You should follow your own tbh.

I'd say there's a 50% chance he's trolling, with the other 50% being he's mafia making a weak claim, an actual mason who is not with nanook making a silly gambit, an actual mason who is with nanook exposing his partner, or a combination of those. It is also possible him and Nanook are both mafia and he exposed his scummate as part of another silly gambit. It's Gavial so we have to consider all scenarios.

I an a firm believer that we should yeet all players who lie, unless it's really obvious it's a joke (which isn't the case here).

Uh, well, derp all over my face then I guess. It’s shameful that I often confuse MU and MS with each other since I hail from neither.

I was operating on the assumption that masons were a third-party element. Since the game says it sports three mafia and ten town roles, a 3p mason element made no sense. But now I see that masons are on the MS ‘normal’ list for town only. Weird to me, but TS also rarely uses the mason element anymore.

Nothing to see here, folks! Just a washed-up has-been hack of a mafia player who excels and opening his mouth just wide enough to get his foot in there.

To be fair almost everytime I see a host trying to implement majority vote on a site that's not used to it, players fail to get the majority on day 1. Or 2. Or both.

I don't solve. Solving is a myth. And I'm really skeptical about people who tell me they can read others precisely (I know those people exist but I don't think they are common).

I have a pretty bad w/l rate in this site because of the early years where I spend games and games trying to be sure about people's alignments. People are hard and applying objetive criteria (like meta) to them is not reliable.

I started being good as a townie when I abandoned that and started having a more supportive role in games. I say whatever is on my mind, change votes constantly, follow my gut but don't necessarily trust it, and occasionally make a wall of posts about someone when I think they are scum, but I listen to people's feedback on it. I trust my intelligence and common sense, and my ability not to listen to bullshit, way more than my ability to psychoanalyse you. If you try to try to bring bullshit at me, you will likely get burned. I'm good at leading townies to act intelligently, but terrible at leading townies to tell them who to yeet, so if people start following me on the later, I get worried.

That's my playstyle I guess.

As far as intro's go, Sprityo has arguably the worst one in the game so far. Maf tend to make those kind of intro posts all the time...they pop in quick, "ya I'm ready to go, <insert joke gif>" then skedaddle.
