Return to “STAR WARS Mafia [ENDGAME]”
This here especially bothers me. Damn you Golden for making that seem like it makes any sense whatsoever. But Golden pointed out that Erique and Simon both proceed to vote for Bass within minutes of this. I do buy this theory now. This looks really bad for Enrique. It is also noteworthy that Enrique had no response to bcornett's vote, another sign he might have known it was coming.
Okay. But there's no connection. I actually look at this as a bigger reach than anything I said about Russ or the Tuskan Riders before. You're basically making the assumption that we're teammates because he did something he wouldn't do to a teammate to get cred? I... yeah fuck that.Golden wrote:Sure, it doesn't work. That's totally why I've never done exactly that to get civ cred.Enrique wrote:well that's just dumb and doesn't involve me at all. what if bc voted because he wanted me dead and i voted because i wanted me alive and thats that? and wasnt the whole point of that that i lived and thats why it was a counterweight? wouldnt bass have died a hell of a lot easier otherwise?
It doesn't work.
My theory might be wrong. I called it a paranoid theory. But the move has both merit and precedent as a baddie move. It's hardly 'just dumb'.
how am i expected to sound again?MacDougall wrote:You know what enrique sounds like to me...
He sounds like me when Matt tried to convince everyone I was the Psycho Killer in Talking Heads when I was bad.
He sounds like a bad guy who's caught for a non viable reason and is super angry about it.
Dude are you kidding? All of this is straight up shit logic. BC voted as a counterweight, but then not, he just wanted to kill me, so that means we're likely teammates!MacDougall wrote:Enrique wrote:well that's just dumb and doesn't involve me at all. what if bc voted because he wanted me dead and i voted because i wanted me alive and thats that? and wasnt the whole point of that that i lived and thats why it was a counterweight? wouldnt bass have died a hell of a lot easier otherwise?

This... doesn't make sense. If I said Russ was a Hutt that would have been a LOT more heat on him. I went through my whole thought process ITT and explained why I didn't think it was the Hutts. And it mad sense.sig wrote:I agree I think either a Simon lynch or a Enrique lynch will benefit us tomorrow.MacDougall wrote:Let's not go easy on Simon. Any 8 year old whose parents are confident can play a game of forums mafia with adults must be capable. I trust his parents wouldn't feed him to the sharks. Don't underestimate kids these days man, most of them are smarter than us. I have a 4 year old who has the social nous of my 14 year old self.
The only game I've seen with this scum BTSC setup was the Dune game. In that game when a certain teammate was lynched/killed the one outside the BTSC was let in. So in that game when I was cruelly lynched through no fault of my own, TH came into our chat. So in theory starting this phase Greedo could've been added to their chat.
Another point on Enrique, he was very confident that the person who poisoned him was an independent. This would explain if he is a Hutt why he is confident that he wasn't poisoned by them, or this could've been a joint effort to get Russ lynched for whatever reason.
This is also without taking into account the number of people that didn't vote. Does that risk really sound worth it to you?MacDougall wrote:Dude how does your mind work backwards like that. That is some very exceptional deduction!Golden wrote:In fact that is my point and a cornerstone of my theory. The two votes that went on Bass after that are Enrique and simon.Metalmarsh89 wrote:bcornett also broke a tie between Bass and Enrique yesterday, giving Enrique a vote, and a 5-4 lead over Bass. I think that's worth keeping in mind.
Here we go again like I can't read between the lines.a2thezebra wrote:I haven't even said anything about voting for you yet Enrique, it's not even Day 4. :P
Simon saved me last time. I'm thankful and all, but he's still a pretty good bet for tomorrow.a2thezebra wrote:Simon makes sense, but why Enrique?Golden wrote:Paranoid theory: Enrique and simon are team hutt. Go!
Increasing votes every day. So +3 tomorrow.Sorsha wrote:How does the poison work? Is it always +2 or does it increase each day?Enrique wrote:Somebody needs to hurry up with my cure tbh before I die over one bullshit vote.
Nope. Luke + 2. I'm in this too, that's the scary part!a2thezebra wrote:That would be a triple tie, Enrique.
That's how I think it works, yeah. "Incremental votes each day."sig wrote:I don't like the votes on Zebra, and can we even still sell votes. Wasn't that a special planet ability?
Simon broke the tie lynching Bass over Enrique, this is slightly pingy, but keeping his age in mind I wouldn't put to much stock in it unless Enrique is scum.
@Enrique how does your poison work, I'm assuming one additional vote each day?
If this is the case what do you think of Luke's vote and who do you plan to vote for today?
I'll be willing to hold back voting for you some of your responses seem civvie, and I'm confident if you're scum you'll slip up soon. So I'd like to discuss who your biggest scum reads are.
Drunken MP is funny, but I must ask MP why do you think I'm scummy?
I feel a little out of my depth here. I've spent the last few days kinda sick / exhausted and especially stressed. I still don't think Russ is good, but I don't think anyone gives a shit about that and he hasn't been around for me to add anything new to that so I might have to just drop it for now.Dom wrote:Enrique-- who do you want to lynch?
Hey umm so why is this a list of everyone I mentioned in my last post? Had you even been back since? No, like, those are the exact four people I'm not sure about Roxy but I don't remember you having much to say about sig or Glorf.MovingPictures07 wrote:uymmmm i think amybe glordinfel and sig and mayeb riss and roxyMetalmarsh89 wrote:Who do you think is mafia?
,man i still need to talk more byt i really thijkoing florfindel
Yeah this is a sucky trend. C'mon peeps, the least you could do is vote for each other if you're so worried about your p-score.a2thezebra wrote:This is your third. Post.

Now, yes. This is an LD verifiable statement. But... it's definitely weird, right? Like, I don't feel it was asked for or anything. Just a random "hey look how civvie I am!" and then that's that.Sorsha wrote:As far as I know I'm not on zebras team, I'm a part of the rebel alliance so if she is too then yes, we are teammates.Elohcin wrote::PSorsha wrote:I am voting for Elohcin. Perhaps you are zebra's teammate.
For real though...Zebra's tone just isn't of her normal civ self imo. Could I be wrong, sure. But I think Bass and Enri both have a good chance of being civ. So I didn't want to place my vote on either.
It's not like I can be sure either, but I prefer working based on those dots than being in the dark completely. I think the Tuskan Rider poison secret role is about the best explanation as to how that could happen especially on Night 1 before the Jawas started selling their shit. I don't think Russ is up to any good either, which has been a thing since before I got poisoned. So 2 and 2 together, and this is me hoping to get a straight answer.Golden wrote:I thought we had lynched Matt F, but I think Enrique is his ghost!
I think Enrique is sincere and I'm not really as suspicious of him any more as I was yesterday. I think his responses have made sense and seemed genuine. However, I'm not going to entertain this notion of the dots he has put together at all. Enrique, you may believe it all you like, but I don't think you are right about it.
I'm sticking to Russ being who I think he is. Yes, that's a bunch of dots to connect through speculation instead of concrete knowledge but I really really believe it. MP would've been his most likely partner, I still expect developments on this and especially a reaction from Russ who's been absent for a while, but I'm not nearly as confident on this. MP's most recent comments have boded well, but then there's the issue of the Day 0 softball and then that weird as hell interaction the other day. I don't know. But I'm guessing if Yoda had any information at all, which he might not, he was going off what he knows about MP. (Yes, I let unsupported speculation get in the way of my thoughts a lot.)a2thezebra wrote:Why are you afraid of controversial opinions? If they're genuine then they should help you. And if you're not up for ISO'ing everyone (believe me I don't blame you) at least give a list of your reads.
like shit what am i even supposed to say. I contribute where I can, form a part of discussion, I don't fucking know what you want from me. I play a certain way and why you think you know it and why you think you can expect something different from me I have no clue. I'm pretty much the only one still giving a shit about Russ, found a possible connection to MP, a possible slip by Glorfindel, speculated about the secret roles, expressed opinions on who I trust and who I don't, what posts I believe and which I don't. I have no idea what answer you're looking for, and you don't even have to agree with anything, but don't try to minimize my efforts like I'm not offering more than most of the playing roster right now.
