That's from what I gathered the one way we plan to clear you correct? If so why wait, not to mention we've got no idea if there's only one mafia member left or whether the kill would be randomized if not put in or even if the kill will be blocked. Assuming no kill = bad Enrique is horrible logic and could result in a wasted day lynching an inactive player. It makes much more sense to kill him with a vig shot now.

i don't think anyone needed me to be cleared as civ so imminently that it would be worth wasting a kill on an inactive civ when there was a possibility of another faction still existing. if the priority was proving my role, killing the next night would have worked just as well, and so would getting killed.

my actions and worries weren't wrong they were just geared towards being prepared for the game lasting longer than it did, but ironically caused the game to end almost immediately, which was better, i guess, even though it stressed me out.

would it have been possible for both TH and LC to have won?

i mean it's not specifically what i thought might happen but it was a risk i was aware of, and it's not like my death was really a bad thing anyways. if i hadn't told my role i would never have wanted to use it, so it felt fine to make myself a possible target for whatever mafia or indie that were left, in exchange for allowing any living informational roles to live instead, and potentially crowd-sourcing the task of choosing a murder target

that's not to say i won't kill someone tonight if everyone can agree on someone but I'm not killing eko when we can gain the same information about him by just waiting 5 hours.

epignosis is the player who can be killed with the least impact on the game if he's civ, but if he's mafia it may become self evident. if I get killed by the mafia or an assassin for holding on to my publically-known-about murder flamethrower too long then at least it wasn't someone more important.

sure, that's true. but we're talking about the cost difference between spending a kill to figure out who's alignment and not spending anything and figuring it out for free.

the game would essentially end (practically speaking) in the same phase whether or not eko is alive or dead. if there's no kill tonight then the smart move by default would be night killing eko the next night but other than that it seems valuable to hang on to it or use it to reduce PoE? Unless the most important thing is taking me out of the PoE asap then killing eko is fine, I guess.

I can kill tonight if that's what everyone agrees is best.

the only thing I have to say about killing eko is that we don't really need to kill him at all in order to clear him. if the mafia kills tonight we can assume eko is civ.

the thing that's fucking with me is that when i asked epignosis if we'd be told when a team were eliminated he said "you'll be told if someone wins" rather than answering my question

unless breaking the mafia gives us an every other night without deaths which means we would get..... more chances than that. math is impossible

i guess i should be more positive, there's 13 players left after today which means we get 5 chances to get whatever mafia's left and solve indies
