I won a game as mafia!

Hey folks, I won't be around much tonight or tomorrow due to prior engagements and traveling back home, but I'll be available during the final 10 hours of the day phase on Mon.

My role's already public.

Also yes, dya is a confirmed wolf at this point based on vc.

Here's the VC from Day 2. I'm looking at this in the scenario that dya is a wolf who was saved.

Sean was the first vote on the Sabi wagon here (or at least that's how Nanook logged it).


I don't think that Shen is a wolf based on Sean's push today. If Sean and Shen are wolves, I don't think they would have much trouble winning this game, even if they were the only two wolves left.

This VC probably points to DrWilgy and Cape as town if dya is a wolf.

dunya is town either way


Which means that any of the final wolves could be in falcon/spacedaisy.

I haven't won a game as wolf since December 2020, and it's relatively known here that it's because I'm awful at it.

In no way shape or form do you explain WHY Jack was scummy here. You just state that Jack was the scummiest outside the wagons.

You then say ALSO (Also means you already finished your thought btw, and are on to a new one, so you should have reason to scumread Jack outside of this ALSO) Jack/Dya looked paired, but that seems a pretty weak reason to actually shoot someone. I think you're reading way too much out of the words I'm using. Yes I used the word "also". I offered one reason why I shot Jack, and another additional reason. The first one is that he was not one of the competing wagons, and the second was the reason I thought he looked scummy.

You agreed with my taking a shot on Jack.


And yes, I did explain it there. If you can't see that in the post, I don't know what else to tell you, and I'm concerned you're deliberately ignoring it.

I still think you're town. I know I've waffled on your slot, but I've found your explanations for your reads believable, and more townie than not for you.

Both your reads on Jack and HK stemmed from experiences in previous games, and in particular, given that your read on Jack in P#602 was wrong (and he was town), I think it's more likely that you're town, because I think you would have trouble pushing someone like Jack if you were scum. I know I would, and I don't think of either of us as being good enough wolves for that.

Here's the vote count from EOD1 again.

I believe what happened was, in the final minute, Spacedaisy vote for hk to make it a tie between hk and sabi at 5-5. Then sean and I moved our votes from sabi to hk to break the tie.


If sabi is town, I think this is a decent look for Spacedaisy since she sheeped a TR's vote. Ties are scum-sided in this setup, but I SD didn't seem to notice she'd made it a tie, and I'm willing to believe that.

I did not make it a tie. My vote put him at 5 over i think Sabi or someone at 4. Then you all moved your votes, probably because I voted and then I posted my vote since I only had two minutes until the poll ended.

@Wisdom what I meant. By liking you, was that immediately before my vote, you said something that struck me as very townie and since I was very much going on hit reads of people, I liked the look. I was already leaning voting he because sabi didn’t read to my gut as bad, so when I saw you had also voted there, I felt more confident in that choice based on my limited info at that time.

There's a disconnect in these two posts from Spacedaisy. On EOD1, she claimed to not make the Day 1 vote a tie. On Day 2, she also claimed to not break a tie.

I'm oretty darn certain that Spacedaisy made the vote a tie, and Sean and I broke the tie. It's possible someone else was moving votes at the time too, but I don't think it was anyone but Spacedaisy.


I don't think either of these actions are scummy (and breaking the tie would be townie), but I think it's odd that she denied doing either of them.

Overall, I still think Spacedaisy/Dolby are slight town or at least outer POE. Outer POE mostly due to lack of Spacedaisy sharing content or reads, but townie because of the Day 1 HK vote.

What's your POE right now?

I'm a little hesitant on this strategy, because killing scum today kinda doesn't matter if we miss tomorrow (assuming there are multiple wolves left ofc) and so on. Forcing a unanimous vote like this is great if the POE is correct, but game over if the POE is wrong.

I do think it's probable that there is at least one wolf in dya/falcon, but that means there's probably another 1-2 wolves in the rest of the players.

Regardless, it could be game over if we're wrong on dya/falcon (which I'm worried about given how much dya has been pushing falcon this game).


But I agree with dunya, we should go dya first here.

If that's the case, I'm finding the whole progression of them on falcon to be opportunistic, especially given that dya thought that falcon softed a role, but continued to vote for them.

Honestly, it would be kinda weird for a wolf to try to forgo reading two different partners under the idea they are good at reading them later. Plus, I think HK is kinda easy to read? Like his town and wolf games aren’t the same.

He does offer a defense of dya, so it is trending that direction.

They could be partners, but if one of them is a wolf, I do think these interactions point to Jack.

Full disclosure: I'm in Colorado right now performing as a test subject in a research study on acute mountain sickness (AMS), and it has involved various amounts of hiking and running around mountains (and there's some cute marmots here reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I'm leaning toward Jack because dya and falcon are both wagons right now, and I'd rather shoot POE outside of the main wagon(s) so as to keep the day from becoming too chaotic from votes moving.

I've also never been a day vig before. (Oh wait actually I was once, and I shot your teammate hk in that one game on Day 1, but that was over a year ago). Does this tactic seem reasonable? What do you think about these names?

dunya is the exception, but I'm willing to overlook that one given their personal history and dunia's lack of activity.

They should be the most clear person in the game from interactions with Alison/HK almost never being w/w ontop of shooting Alison when there were a lot of shots that would've been more consensus at the time. And Wisdom's general tone/solving/WIM is also one of the highest in the game. But even ignoring that last point, I feel your focus this game has been kind of off

Like, if person A has done a ton of things that should make them very town, and then that person does something that I find rand wolf, maybe I would call it out and question it and try to figure out if I could've been wrong there. But I wouldn't straight up call that person concerning without having the earlier things in mind.

It's different if a person I'm null on would say something that's rand wolf, THEN I might call that person straight up concerning.

It's different in my mind to call a *thing* as off, and what you did, "wisdom is really conerning me". That implies that person is higher on your suspect list and you want others to put focus there.

Which leads me to believe you're not trying to find a towncore but just looking for things to push on (preferably breaking up the current consensus towncore if it's correct), which is how wolves like to do things

1. wisdom is always a hard read for me. I don't clear her or suspect her easily

2. concerning does not mean wolf. It means I'm confused about the things she's attributing to me. I can see several reasons for this. Only 1 is that she's a wolf trying to set me up. She could be misattributing posts to me that werent mine - like sabi heavily defended alison based on a brad read. is she thinking of that? Where is this read of marmot that's being attribute to me coming from?

3. I have started a towncore and it has you in it. Probably Jack as well. I'm sticking with people I can read better than wisdom, despite what you may think about her

Here's another example of dya stating that they have trouble reading people. Is everyone in this game hard to read except for me? Dya is committing to reads here and there. I do think waffling can and does often look townie, but it normally comes when someone finds reasons to both v-read and w-read people, and in some cases, neither of these things are happening here for dya, which is what I don't like.

I'm also a little confused as to why Jack is in dya's towncore. I don't agree with that read. On the flip side, I agree with dunia that I think Jack looks like he's trying to pocket dya this game.



I'm too lazy to quote the posts from dya after the above ones, but dya's Day 2 content does look a lot better to me than Day 1. I agree with most of their read list (give or take) with the exception of Jack. And they did begin to sort people after the posts I complained about above. Overall, I think they still belong in POE though, mainly because of their handling of hk and Alison Day 1.
