What does a Medium do irl? I'm vaguely familiar I didn't get the joke lol.

A Medium is kinda like a Psychic (IRL not as a mafia definition). They can see and sense things that other people cannot.

Not really what I was joking about here, but in Town of Salem (a Mafia spinoff game), a Medium can communicate with dead players at night.

In addition to being the cop, I am also the medium for all anti-cop mechanics.

There are other players who look townie too, it's really just that I green peeked Poison Day 2 and KZA looked insanely good after faking a red peek on him.

I mean, all three wolves we've flipped were done based on reads (and some luck). Yes we had a redpeek on falcon, but he was probably getting yeeted Day 1 anyway.

Who even knows anymore. While I am confirmed town, I feel like my role is utterly useless and we should just rely on reads and instincts, not mech.

I've discovered a new answer to a question I just asked.

If the anti-cop hits the same player twice, they revert their alignment back.

that is exactly why not going for exile confirmation is dangerous, because people will get dumb and second-guess, because we're going to be trying to play whack-a-mole looking for a hidden traitor rather than looking for a clear

look at it this way

right now we have 9 villagers and 1 traitor. the probability of picking a villager to bet the game on is NINETY PERCENT. the odds are never going to be better. only a single correct townread wins the game

and like i can only be arguing this from a protown perspectuve because i'm not advocating for myself to the exile so even were i a traitor i'd be guaranteed to lose with this

We can do the exact same thing without taking the 10% chance risk though.

I just want to use the one that will never send a possible traitor to exile more than twice, everyone but me being a possible traitor. Yes it's cautious, but it's not hard.

I'd love to exile someone, but the poll still seems to be in Day Mode.

I should add that since the anti-cop is the only traitor left, it is possible that it's KZA. The reason he was derp-cleared was because he responded well to my make redpeek, but if he was an anti-cop who self-targeted, he would have known my peek was fake.

I don't think he is, but I feel it's still worth pointing out if we start having trouble finding the last traitor.

Meh. We're ahead, which means that we absolutely should play it safe, not make calls that have some amount of risk to them.

I know that the odds are in our favor, but there's still a little risk to picking someone (other than myself) to be our permanent exiled target.

We should be in exile phase right now, I think the poll just isn't updated.

I'm still waiting on my most recent result, but I'm fine with continuing the plan of just exitling someone who hasn't been exiled. It seems the safest way for now.

Yeah, at this point, anti-cop will almost certainly peek green, which leaves one vanilla traitor left. That likely means anyone who peeks red at this point is probably just a framed townie. I agree with that.
