Speedchuck's role and affiliation has been revealed. He is:
You are TOWN. You will win if all anti-town factions are eliminated.

You are 59: The Moon (Elemental). Each night, you will PM one element to the hosts (Light, Darkness, Gas or Dust) and one player to be targeted for any effect the element may have. If the Sun is in the game, they will also choose one element out of Light, Darkness, Gas or Dust. When you and the Sun are both in the game, your element choices will combine to form one effect. Each combined effect may only be triggered once. The Sun's target will get the benefit of any positive effect, while your target will suffer any negative effect. You may not choose the same element or the same target on consecutive days. You will not be informed of the effects of your elements.
He is still alive. Carry on.
... or we let Cerberus get rid of speedchuck.
I like this better than your other idea.

Re: Pikachu Tribe - Day 8

Maybe I'm misunderstanding nutella's role.

I thought it meant she could choose a player who is going to die, and have their alignment and role announcement altered, not that she could select any player, and have their alignment and role announced at will.

If that player is mafia, they will be announced to be a civilian. If that player is civilian, they will be announced to be mafia. If that player is independent, your shot will fail. The player may not be from your team. You are MAFIA and a member of the EVIL EVENS.

Re: Pikachu Tribe - Day 8

Here are two recent DrWilgy games in which I hosted, and read his posts knowing his role throughout the game.

Lord of the Rings Mafia - DrWilgy was civilian. There was little to no content offered by Wilgy in this game, and he was lynched Day 4.
Mountain Mafia - DrWilgy was mafia. He had a lot to offer in this game. Reads out the wazoo, even an ISO. This DrWilgy was on point, and held on strong until his Day 7 lynch.

Here's another recent DrWilgy civilian game.

Fiddler on the Roof Mafia - DrWilgy was a civilian in this game. DrWilgy looks goofy in this game, but he does play on point. He proposes his own lynch so that he wouldn't be around at LYLO, and does some drunk posting. This game falls somewhere on the spectrum between the above two mentioned game. Light, but contributing.

DrWilgy in Cerberus thread was not the one from LotR Mafia. For those who paid more attention in the other thread than I did, what do you think about the other games as a comparison?

Also DrWilgy, where you at?

Resignation from nutella or resignation from everyone else?

Re: Pikachu Tribe - Day 8

Spacedaisy wrote: Sun Mar 18, 2018 11:47 am So here is the meta based case I made on Wilgy.

If you look at his games from 2017, 2018 you see that Wilgy tends to play more seriously when he is bad. By that I mean, he doesn't use shticks. He still jokes around some but nowhere near as much if he is civ. When he is civ, he contributes and actually I find him to be a really formidable player but he tends to do so in shtick format and be a lot more jokey.

In my previous tribe I even linked to his ISOs from games where he was civ, bad and 3P. In my mind, it seemed clearly like his play this game was similar to his baddie game play. But obviously I didn't get a lot of people who agreed with me or he would have been lynched at least once. I still believe my suspicion of him to be well founded. Since I made the accusation he made one reasoned defense directed to me and has since just fallen into barely posting and when he has, it's a joke without content.

So take all that as you will.

I'm willing to consider moving my vote if no one else feels like there is reason enough to vote Wilgy, but I still think he is bad.
I do remember this part of Wilgy's play from the previous thread. I didn't think much of it. Did you look through his recent games for a comparison? I'm curious as to how you noticed this.

Who would you like to vote today?
DrWilgy or Marmot.

Does anyone remember if Blooper said she talked or not in her chat.

If nutella is bad, I would believe Blooper is too. But if they had some other means of BTSC, I don't think it is nearly as suspicious as I first thought. We found her suspicious originally because she was shocked to learn she was talking to someone in the other tribe. It seemed weird to me at the time because I would think the first thing on your mind would be, "Who am I talking to?" or "What tribe are you in?" But she was just like, "Whoa, that's crazy!!" I asked her about it and her response was not what I expected, but it was believable at the same time. I'm a little torn there. I think they most likely had the same alignment, be it good or bad. But I don't know that, this is all just me spitballing.

I still think Wilgy is bad news.

VOTE WILGY aubergine
I feel differently. I don't think it's alignment indicative that if one is bad, then the other one is also bad. I think it's just as plausible that one is a civilian and one is mafia as both of them being civilian, and also as both of them being mafia.

How do you feel about nutella?

Why do you want to lynch Wilgy? I can't remember anything that either you or he have said in recent days.

Jeff's post

Jeff Probst wrote: Fri Mar 02, 2018 9:06 pm Hey there, folks! Welcome to Survivor!

I need three volunteers from your tribe ASAP.

Each volunteer will receive a puzzle, as soon as I can send one within seeing a PM notification. The volunteers will then have until end of Day 3 (5:52PM Eastern time) at the latest to solve the puzzle.

The faster that your tribe's volunteer completes the puzzle, the better chance he or she has to help your tribe win the prize! Specifically, I will add the time between my sending out each puzzle and the volunteer's correct response. Any incorrect answer will simply mean your volunteer fails that puzzle.

The tribe that has the most correct puzzles first will be the winner! In the event of a tie, the least total time for all puzzles will be used as a tiebreaker.

The Prize: The winning tribe will have lynch immunity for their entire tribe and will be able to send one person to the other tribe to ‘observe’ (get viewing permission but not be allowed to post or vote) until end of Night 3.

Please PM the Jeff Probst sock account to volunteer. I will only accept the first three volunteers from each tribe. Good luck!

A solution
Long Con wrote: Sun Mar 04, 2018 3:20 pm I did a Sudoku challenge, and it was exactly 20 minutes from the time I got the PM to the time I sent in the solution. In the post I quoted above. I read through the responses to LC's slip, primarily following Dom catching it, several players immediately asked for LC's response, while you offered an explanation as to why LC could have known the tribe name.

Scotty wrote: Sat Mar 17, 2018 1:09 am Ok so

I’m willing to work with you fine yellow lightning mice- if you’re more in a consensus on a lynch, then I’d be willing to vote that way.

Because look-

The other tribe (and I’m sure I can speak for a bunch of them) is hungry for a lynch and will most likely try and consolidate votes. Now that y’all know the lynch secret, we’ll probably have to outvote the other tribe to get a lynch across.

Why Marmot?
Sloonei came out swinging like a lumberjack at a tea party the other day and very adamantly proposed we lynch Marmot.
He can probably lay out his case better but at the end of the day, Marmot had a lot of things to say in the middle game where he was putting forth an attempt at solving the game, and when a few people called him civ, he backed off and he just didn’t do much of anything. Call it timing or not, when faced with this case, he did not dispute or defend against it (His reasoning being that he already used up his old power and he wanted a new role) but we really needed a lynch for morale and no one really disputed that Marmot could be mafia. We had everyone put forth an effort yesterday and we had every single person vote for Marmot, including himself.

I feel like I have so much to say, like I’m showing a girl my entire YuGiOh card collection on the first date.
What you failed to mention is that I was out of town for 5 days, and generally busy before that, two things I mentioned in the thread that don't seem to have gotten across.
