I am a mod. I was being helpful because I should be and because I want to be. I would have been helpful if I were civ, too.

And yeah, we figured out who you were after we role checked Daisy. I enjoyed avenging you :)

Oh I know that lol but something about the way you played after I died rang alarm bells and I was kicking myself for not really paying attention to you. LOL

Wow, someone really wanted me dead huh? Well I would like to say that I'm sorry for being so sucky at this game, I promise you I am normally much better than this. Give me time, I'll get there. It just took a lot to adjust to having such short days and nights plus soooo many people I didn't know.

So thank you for welcoming me in, and thanks DF for a great game. See you soon :D

Okay so I know its night and we aren't supposed to talk much but I seriously am suspicious of Lizzy. I don't get why literally everyone is basically giving her an out by saying they can never read her. All I can see from her is sarcastic posts, I don't see any hunting, or any kind of a defense really. It just really makes me suspicious.

Turnip Head wrote:Re: Lizzy, I agree and I've probably seen some of the subtleties you're talking about. While we're on the subject, what do you think of Vomp and AP?

Vomp was NK'ed early on by the Corp on Night 3, but was rezzed almost immediately after on Day 4. Who do you think rezzed Vomp? And why? I don't know why anyone would so quickly rez someone, especially someone like Vomp who wasn't really contributing, unless that person was a teammate of his. It's possible the rez was an unwritten part of his role, but unlikely. He also survived a kill attempt a few nights ago.

AP survived the lynch on Day 1 and hasn't been discussed since. He did vote for MP, though one of the only things he's been clear on this entire game is that he did so because of some attachment to WOG, who was the other suspect that day. He's made some cameo appearances in the thread today but still hasn't voted or discussed where he's thinking of voting.

And what about Dex, who continues to vote for himself without posting?
It is possible that Vomp is a baddie, being rezzed and then surviving a night kill certainly doesn't look good for him. Unless someone knows something about him that we don't.

AP, not sure at all. I would like to see more from him.

Dex...no idea but I really dislike people voting themselves, it helps no one. Even if he is a civvie, he may as well not be by voting himself.

Epi, Lizzy has voted for LouLou twice in a row (although without posting to go along with her vote), and yesterday Lou voted for Lizzy in retaliation. Do you suspect them of being on the same team or different ones?
Honestly, I am not normally like this. I am a much better player than this and its annoying me that I'm not in this game haha. I don't know why I'm finding it hard to get into this game. I think its because I'm not used to playing with this many players, and I don't know anyone here or how they play. That as well as people putting my back up with snide comments instead of talking to me when I do put my suspicions forward kinda made me not want to really participate. But I refuse to give in and I am trying. All I can tell you is that I am good, and I voted for Lizzy first last day and she then responded by voting me without even posting why. So that just made me even more suspicious of her. Nothing I've seen since then tells me I'm wrong on her.

I expressed my LouLou suspicion when MP was still around (though I was unable to speak well). I felt that she's feigning ignorance to make it look like she's not on a team.

Lizzy is a more complicated subject. It wasn't my reading of her (she has a civilian game and a bad game, whether she realizes it or not), but it was how others reacted to her.

Also, MP often describes his allies in ambiguous yet unfriendly terms. He did that for both Lizzy and Lou ("slightly leaning baddie").

I believe I answered that already but I reiterate, I was not feigning anything. This game is really hard for me, considering how many I've played on Ksite. For one thing, it doesn't help when people just keep voting for themselves. I don't get that, I don't think I ever will, it doesn't help the town at all.

Turnip Head has placed me in a position that's nigh impossible to defend against. That's fine. I understand the dynamics of that, but it sucks.

If birdwithteeth11 gets lynched and is bad, then I tried to distance myself from him with my vote for him previously and now I've (somehow) tried to dissuade people from voting for him this Day. And if I vote for him and he's lynched but turns out good (my record being suck), that's no good either.

The only way I come out of that is to not vote for him and he turns up civilian. Although I'm sure I'd get blamed for his lynch anyway.

Why do I get the eerie feeling that several people are waiting on me to vote?
You seem to have that pretty sewn up. Kinda feels like now you've put this out there, you can accuse someone of doing something that you said they would, therefore making it seem like they're the one coming at you

Those removed from the poll are also silenced and may not vote. This tells me that it is the doing of Stone Cold Steve Austin. This makes me wonder what exactly he profits from removing the individual most suspected for the next Day.

If someone is just silenced, I'm sure it won't show up in the thread- they'll just get a PM saying, "You've been silenced."

Yes, this is the work of Stone Cold Steve Austin.

So who exactly would gain something by shutting someone up?

Well my question wasn't rhetorical and I didn't realise that I 'do this often' either. I was simply asking for others opinions on it. The whole not revealing who people are thing on here is really frustrating because I am not used to playing this way. I needed to know if he was good or bad. Telling me nothing doesn't help me in any way because again...things are different here. Personally I think he's bad, but if someone knows something, enough to want to stop his lynch, I don't know if that makes him good.

Also Lizzy, you keep talking about how much TH is suspicious, yet you sillently place a vote on me? Why? And why not explain why you're voting me? I know you made a big post about me, but all you did was quote posts from pretty much the first day of the game when I was still finding my way in this site. That tells me that you really don't have a lot but you have to say something about someone who is suspicious of you. That earns you my vote.

You're part of the problem. You're like the zillionth person who's asked for the thread to be explained or summarized for them because they can't be arsed to read.

I voted for you because: I didn't like how you voted for me last round because I didn't respond to Daisy's post, when in fact I did respond to it. If you had voted BWT instead, Hedge might not have died. If you really thought (or cared) that Hedge was civ, I think you would have given more thought to your vote. Also, my other suspects are dead or off the poll. Or not participating at all - but good luck getting those people lynched.

linki: Wow, Lizzy, calling me blendy? Really? I've been a lot of things this game, but blendy is not one of them. I'm one of the few people out there who is posting original thoughts. Way to cherry pick my posts for reasons that work for you.

Yeah I really don't trust Lizzy at all. It goes back to something Daisy said about her, and since I believe she was a civvie I'm inclined to trust her more. Lizzy will probably be where I vote tonight.

Could you guys please explain why you're voting for me? I only have Epi's blank claim that I'm bad (although, frankly, I didn't care to read , nor did I have time to, all of his disection of my last post) and k4j's lame reason that I appeared to be on MP's team. I don't know how else to respond to that. I'm not on MP's team, nor would I have done something that stupid if I was. I did it because I thought he was just being normal MP.

The only other reason I saw was that I was really frustrated. Well, I was trying not to be too blunt, but honestly it was because I felt like Epi was kind of a jerk with Hedge and ended up getting a civ killed. And then he turned on me without explanation. And he conveniently diverted his vote somewhere else when the lynch came through Hedge. Now the same thing is happening to me, except I admit that he seems to be trying to be a little less domineering this time around.

But, you know, if you guys want to jump on another bully vote for someone who's not bad, be my guest.
Hmm, you're right, he does seem to be steering the thread. He's been a BIG presence in this thread since day 1. And I still don't know how I feel about how hard he went after Mongoose in Day 1 and she turned out civvie. But I guess as scum he'd have to be pretty bold to try something like that, that's the only thing that's making me wonder.

J.R.: Welcome to Survivor Series, folks! It looks like we're getting started with the Last Man Standing Match!!

King: I hope Edge wins, J.R., he tells it like it is!

Indeed he does, but this night he would be doing more murdering than telling. The match was Edge vs. Daisy, where the winner had to keep their opponent down for a 10-count. Daisy took every risk, keeping Edge off-balance and almost winning repeatedly. Edge rolled out of the ring and returned with a large medieval axe.

J.R.: What?!?! He can't do that!!!

King: Hey, it's No Disqualification, J.R.! Anything goes!

Edge swung at Daisy, but she ducked and kicked the axe away. But it was all a ruse. Suddenly Daisy began to stumble, and she collapsed to the mat. Edge casually read a newspaper as the referee counted to 10. Edge as the winner. As for Daisy, the slow-acting poison Edge had slipped her earlier that day left her dead before the EMTs could get to the ring.

Back in the GM's office, Eric Bischoff was incensed.

"It's been over a year, and we STILL haven't found the killer!?!??" he demanded of his assistant, Coach.

"Well boss, I don't have the answers, but here's somebody who might," Coach said, letting Captain Bunny Killer into the room.

"Okay, here's what I have in mind," CBK began, when from out of nowhere Hulk Hogan burst in wielding a trident. He hurled it at CBK, and she was pinned to the wall; however, the tines were just conveniently on either side of her neck (it was a really big trident). Coach and some trainers dragged Hulk away before he could finish the job.

*********************************************

Triple H knew that his reign was not safe. Too many people wanted to be on top. But there could be only one, Highlander-style. With that in mind, Trips found his next target, K4J, eating alone in the arena basement. Without bothering with pleasantries, Triple H raised the sledgehammer high. K4J threw his bowl of soup in HHH's face, causing him to drop the hammer. K4J ran up the stairs as fast as he could, only to find that Triple H had taken the elevator. He pushed K4J backwards down the stairs, breaking his neck in 46 places.

*********************************************

"Hi, Michael Cole, reporting from the backstage area with the only Olympic Gold Medalist in WWE history, Kurt Angle! Now Kurt, what are your thoughts on the recent killing spree here in WWE?"

"Well, Michael, as an Olympic hero I stand for the three I's: Intensity, Integrity, and Intelligence. Whoever this is is a serial killer, and as an American hero, I'm against that. But fear not, Michael, I think I know just who it is! Oh, it's true!"

With that, Kurt ran down to Vompatti's dressing room. He found Vomp sitting at his dressing table silently, snuck up behind him, then attempted to strangle Vomp with the gold medal. Vomp somehow managed to outwrestle the wrestling gold medalist, and fled before Angle could get to his feet.

*********************************************

Daisy has been killed by the Arrogant Heels.
K4J has been killed by Triple H.
Vomp is not dead.
CBK is not dead.
BWT has been silenced. He may not talk, vote, or be voted for today.
Well crap! I was sure Daisy was a civvie and I was fairly confident that K4J was too. Vomp not being dead, Idk what to make of that. CBK not being dead, seems suspicious to me but BWT being silenced? I don't trust that at all. I played a game on Ksite where someone was a baddie and they silenced themselves in order to make us believe she was a townie so...Idk what to think anymore.

I got a bit to catch up on and I fully intend to do so before the day starts.
I suspect both of them Wanna take them down w/me?

Idk, I haven't been paying attention enough to BWT to make a fair judgement. Can you tell me why YOU are suspicious of them?

Sure.
BWT came in and voted Hedgie, saying that Hedgie was trying to deflect suspicion on him by saying he fit the SK status (The SK started killing once he entered the game as a replacement for someone who had not been posting/playing). He came back saying he was not really into the game or something like that. To me both are scummy behavior but the comment of not being into the game really gets to me because it feels like he was someone who died as a civvie and came back to replace someone of another alignment and just does not feel as dedicated to that.
CBK came in probably 15 minutes or so from the MP lynch deadline when MP was tied with WOG in votes. He came in and I believe his first post said he was going to vote for me, however he did not vote immediately and MP was able to convince him to vote for WOG. This past phase he came in and said he was voting TH, and he did right away without discussion. This makes me think that CBK came in to save MP (they are apparently friends outside the site, so I would not put it past MP to ask his scumbuddy to come in real quick and save the day) but did not want his intentions to be known and said he was going to vote me but waited to be convinced otherwise.
Hmm well based on that, I would lean more towards BWT but like I said, I need to do my own read through before I come to any conclusions. I don't really have time tonight because I have to go to bed early, back on early shifts again for the next two days but I shall try and do it tomorrow.

Summerslam was once again upon us!!! All the wrestlers were gearing up for their big matches on the biggest show of the summer. Backstage, MR warmed up for his match against the ever-obnoxious Damien Sandow. However, it was not to be. Vince McMahon burst into MR's dressing room.

"What are you doing here, Vince?" asked MR.

"How dare you address the Chairman like that!" exclaimed the boss. "I was coming out here to wish you luck, but now I see that you don't need it. You need...a machete!"

With that, Mr. McMahon pulled out a machete from his suit jacket. "For Shane!" he yelled, then plunged it into MR's chest.

Out at the ring, Damien Sandow waited for an opponent who would never arrive. Finally he just grabbed the mic.

"Since my opponent's tardiness has prevented his dissection at my hands, I hereby declare myself the victor of this bout via forfeit! You're welcome."

Triple H was on the prowl. He had been killing a lot lately, and he'd developed an insatiable desire to take out anyone who got in his way. There was one man who was too much of a threat - Epignosis. HHH tracked Epig to the parking lot, then made his move. He jumped out of the shadows with his sledgehammer, but Epig saw him at the last second and ducked. Unfortunately, Dom just happened to be walking next to Epig, and the hammer collided with him. Triple H fled the scene, but when Epig went to check on Dom it was too late.

MR has been killed by the Corporation.
Dom has been killed by Triple H.

It is now day. You have 48 hours to lynch someone.
Oh wow, MR too? And Dom. Hmm...I don't remember having any thoughts about Dom but I was a little suspicious of MR. Guess I was wrong on that one

Don't get mad at me because you didn't read what I spent a long time writing. I am not going to make a custom post for anyone who comes in here and only read what their time allowed them to read. There is a link under my name. "In topic." F3. "Hedgeowl." You'll find all you want to know.

If, after that, you want clarifications or additional thoughts, then let me know. I am involved in three games, I have three kids, I am writing a book, and I cook. I can't keep repeating myself just because people can only read what their time allows.

But I did ask. My original question was "Is it because she survived the night kill"? That was what I was asking.

She's bad because you don't read the thread.

Well was that really necessary? I read the thread, I was asking for YOUR opinion but I guess that would be too much work.
What the hell? Too much work? I gave my opinion. I actually spent an hour putting that first big post together. And I just reposted my opinion. Would you like me to post it for a third time? I really don't understand what you want.

If you're looking for a summary, you won't get one from me. If you did read the thread, you would know my opinion regarding Hedgeowl quite clearly.

In summary, I don't believe you, Dom or Eloh actually read shit.

You can believe what you want I don't really care. I read as much as my time allows me to. Asking questions is what I do. I didn't see the quotes you posted when I said that so you can think whatever you want. I wanted to know specifically...you know, because I asked, if this was because she survived the night kill, that was asked because I don't know squat about the characters so I asked you to elaborate. But I'm now regretting that.

Easy, killer. There's no bandwagon. It's not even Daytime.

Anyway, I'll let your posts do the condemning. I don't need to add too much to them:
Hedgeowl wrote:Ok, I don't have much time right now, but I have decided to try a different tactic this game. I will be looking for baddies in the top posters instead of low posters. One if a baddie is lynched we get more info from said lynch than lynching a baddie low poster, and two I think it more likely given some of the players and style that there are baddies running part of this thread. (Three, it slows the thread down a bit getting rid of a few chatty mcchattersons)

The list of top 10 living posters:
Epignosis 119
Mongoose 118
kneel4justice 87
Mister Rearranger 85
S~V~S 85
Loulou26 77
MovingPictures07 61
Summer 59

Devin the Omniscient 54
Bullzeye 51

One of you is getting my vote later today, but since I am still catching up, might take me a bit more time. Also, given my brief time with the ksiters this seems to be fairly normal for most of them, so gives me pause there as well. I will consider more today as the day progresses, but this is where I am currently thinking since I am not 100% following current in thread accusations without more catch-up.
Hedge, Simon Peter never cast a net that wide. Eleven names. And without bothering with the content of anyone's posts, you go ahead and state that you're voting for one of these people. On Day 3, that ends up being me for- do forgive me- a really lousy reason.
Hedgeowl wrote:I think it very likely that some of the main posters are bad. There are 9 baddies and an SK, so 1/3 of the game wants the 2/3 civs dead, dead, dead. Whether you like math or not that's pretty damn likely the chatty ones have baddies amongst them. Also, since they say the most, they direct the thoughts and feelings of the thread the most, so I am particularly wary currently of having my thoughts influenced by other's posts so much and how they may be influenced.
I don't understand this. Are people incapable of thinking for themselves? Are people so easily manipulated? While I appreciate the compliment (?), I am not Charles Xavier (though I sit about as much as he does). How ironic, then, is your vote for wrathofgod.

Hedgeowl wrote: I really dont think trusting anyone in this game is a good idea and it's interesting how many people are indicating those they trust. Baddies will seem just as helpful as anyone, because they are just as motivated to lynch a baddie from the other team to get some civvie cred. Since others are creating lists I will do my best to contribute as well.

Hedge's list:
TRUST NO ONE

Hedgeowl wrote:I am trying to decide where to go from this last lynch. Obviously, a starting place is voters looking to "save" MP, myself included. Frankly, of the group of TH, Epi, K4j, Hedge, MP, and CBK the only person I was suspicious of was Epi and possibly K4J. The MP lynch illustrates the problem I was trying to get out by targeting top posters perfectly. The longer you spend in thread with someone, the more you can begin to trust them. The more time I spent reading MP's thoughts and his back and forth with K4J the more I trusted both of them. So this leave me in a bit of conundrum. I think of review of all of us and voting histories will be helpful, but honestly I think since MP had so many votes early on that at most one of his teammates voted WOG and the others probably voted other places. He worked very hard in thread to get enough votes on one candidate. So at this point I plan a reread of those folks as a starting place, but dont want to have tunnel vision there either.
You went from trusting no one to trusting MP in a fraction of a Day period.
Hedgeowl wrote:To clarify I will not be voting Epi today, because I also think it sucks to be lynched while insanified and its obviously not faked since our host informed us of the PM.
Why the hell not? You voted me on Day 3. You still suspect me after Day 4. What does being insane have to do with it? Either I'm good or I'm not.
Hedgeowl wrote:My slow reading of MR isnt making me feel better about him. He was really active early in the game and seems to have tapered off. Why is that?

However, as noted this will do nothing to save MP. Seems like Epi, MP (obvi), maybe K4j, and I are interested in not lynching MP currently. Is this correct?

I dont have a read on Sorsha that much, dont really want to vote Lizzy or Bass though.

I think Epi wpuld like to help save MP and then Go the F to Sleep.
I did not vote to save MP. I had not even voted at that point. MP had four votes. I voted for someone who had only one vote at the time. If I wanted to save MP, I would have voted for Lizzy, who had two votes. What I find most interesting is that some people wanted to vote for someone other than MP, but didn't want to vote for Lizzy (like you).

++++

In summary, you have expressed suspicion of me, MR, Sorsha, Boomslang, Dom, S~V~S, Bass the Clever, kneel4justice, and Spacedaisy.

Yet, even with posting more than once that WOG would likely be a civilian, you chose to vote for that individual anyway. Someone with zero posts. :evileye:

Is it against the rules?

Hedgeowl wrote:And how is your vote not trying to help "save" MP? You were in the thread with everyone discussing the best way to "save" MP. You even saw 2 of his 4 tells you claimed and you trusted him.
For someone so concerned with people manipulating others' thoughts, you seem very comfortable interpreting what's going on in someone else's head.

Yes, I was in the thread with everyone discussion the best way to save MP. Because...you know...there's only ONE thread to participate in. And I hadn't voted yet.

I wasn't trying to save MP. I voted for someone who had ONE vote. ONE. He had four.

I did not trust MP. I wavered and voted someone else I think should go. That's a far cry from wanting to save MP, but not wanting to vote Lizzy and voting someone you think is civilian. There is NO excuse for that. Especially from someone who made a big whoop-ti-do about voting big posters and then voting someone who had zero posts.
Hedgeowl wrote:TH came up with WOG as a good vote option and explained his reasons and you were the 2nd voter! So, how is it not possible that you could have been trying to save him? Your "case" on me is grasping a lot and you still didnt answer any of my questions.
If I wanted to save MP, I would have voted Lizzy. Voting wrathofgod (1 vote) to MP (4 votes) is a piss poor attempt at salvation. If I had voted for someone with zero votes, and a bandwagon came, would you be accusing me of the same bullshit?
Hedgeowl wrote:Pot meet kettle, is the phrase you have used before sir. :noble:
I don't understand why you're accusing me of hypocrisy. I never said I was trying to save MP. YOU said that for me and for yourself. I never said WOG was a civilian. YOU said that twice (and voted WOG anyway). I never suspected eleventy players. YOU did.

Lizzy certainly has her own style, but she's a damn fine baddie/indie usually. Your encouraging others to vote for Lizzy on this basis makes me :eye: you for the first time Boomer.
Personally, I have seen people kill their biggest accuser and take the WIFOM route, hell I have done it myself~ becasue then someone is bound to say something just like you just did. You have to weigh the odds of whether or not the person would do such a thing on a person by person basis. There are quite a few people playing this game that would be capable of such a move. It was the final episode of Smackdown before the biggest show of the year, Wrestlemania. Everyone was determined that the killer would be brought to justice tonight, and the big Pay-Per-View would go off without a hitch. Everyone was gathered on the stage as the Corporation made their way down to the ring.

"Quite frankly, I've had it with these killings," declared Vince McMahon. He motioned at the wrestlers on the stage. "I know one of you is a heartless murderer, and mark my words, you will be destroyed here tonight in this very ring."

"I know who it is!" yelled TH. "It was WOG!"

"DON'T EVER INTERRUPT ME AGAIN!" thundered Vince, but he was drowned out by another voice.

"No!" said Daisy. "It was someone else entirely!"

"She's right! We know who did it! It was...MP!" declared SVS, motioning to MP, who was standing in the ring next to Vince.

"Me? Guys, come on, that's crazy," pleaded MP. "Dad, do something, will ya?"

But it was too late. The mob made their way down to the ring. They carried MP up to the top of the Titantron and threw him off. He survived. So they picked him up and threw him through a glass pane. He survived. So they picked him up and electrocuted him. He survived. Finally they just wrapped him in chains and threw him in the river. Presumably he's dead now, and they could all rest a bit easier, knowing that they had rid themselves of a villain going into Wrestlemania.
