Re: The Avengers [Day 4]
Oof, eight minutes late for that question, friendo!Simon wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 9:25 pmIt seems as if you are suspecting a handful of players. So then who would you be voting for?leetic wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 12:42 am While I still have time, here's the rough state of the game.
AS, motobot, and Simon are barely doing anything. motobot seems the least impressive slot of the three at a glance, but I'm not happy with AS's (lack of) effort either at this point. Meta from a previous game can only get you so far when you have a do-nothingist playstyle anyway.
dunya is a dead slot, someone vig this please. Thank you.
falcon's not looking any more impressive than when I last voted him, I'll give you that much.
Brad had a stupid tunnel D2 and refused to do anything afterwards. Don't go all "woe is me" about the Porscha wagon when you yourself said you weren't gonna do anything to stop it.
LC and LoRab look better than most people, but that's such a low bar to clear at this point.
Michelle's posts look alright I guess.
sig is basically another dead slot at this point.
I guess TSP is my top town read, but even he has done barely anything of late.
Try harder people.
I find it reasonable if you do not wish to answer.

This has literally gone on the entire game.
But for some reason you're unable to see it, and the fact that you're confirmed town actually makes this entire thing worse.

You need to put extra or electric blankets on the bed, have a cup of tea of chicken soup, a hot shower, and go to bed early. 12 hours in bed, staying under the covers even though you are sweating so much. In the morning your sheets will be soaked, and you will fell better. This has worked for me 4 or 5 times when I'm getting sick.

I was thinking more along the lines of the park that says., "You cannot change your win condition."
Like, that's kind of a given for almost every mafia role you ever get and it goes without being said. I feel like it was mentioned because it implies involuntarily alignment change.

I do believe your role implies the likely possibility of some form of involuntary recruitment, don't you agree?leetic wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 8:24 pm So it's a good thing that we're probably not dealing with a cult. Some town members being able to voluntarily change their alignments is nonetheless concerning, however. Solid lynch, but I wouldn't give too much credit as the wolves were likely unaware if Porscha was on their side.

For me, if moto believes that Abigail is your Wolf partner and was dropping an inconsequential vote on you for distancing... and that leads him to vote you, which I obviously approve of... then there's nothing I need to engage with?

I looked at Town Porscha in the Game of Champions, and she was much more involved and accusational than she is in this game.
I looked at Town Porscha Battle of the Bands, and she's very aggressively hunting in the first two days.
I even wrote an essay about it:
Porscha in this game is nothing like her previous two games where she was town.

The first reason lies within his behavior throughout the duration from day 2 to now. I've noticed that ever since the large debate between Brad and the recently resurrected leetic, Brad has had quite the temper since then. He may have also felt psychologically corned seeing as leetic was getting more people who trusted him. Ok some people trusted him and that includes myself, but others didn't. Brad on the other hand, only had a small amount of people who trusted him. (I even recall someone saying that said debate did nothing to move the game along after I said it was riveting, even though it started as the first piece of the puzzle that would lead up to how I was able to deduce this. But I'm getting off topic. Anyway, I suspect Brad is trying to use this temper in such a way to make others believe that he is being sincere. It's possible that he isn't holding much of any grudges anymore, but even so, this has not been overlooked.
The second reason is that he's been awfully quiet when it comes to accusations, especially when someone asks him a question or two. While it isn't illegal to dodge questions, I do believe it will make that person more suspicious the more it happens. I have read some replies of his that look like they were suggesting that he was shooting down different kinds of speculations from others. In other words, I haven't really seen him agree with anyone lately. And keep in mind, he hasn't really given much info lately either, so there is a bit of hypocrisy in this, but of course, I could be misremembering things, so please correct me if I am wrong about anything.
What you described does happen. I don't think that this is a case of that. I think Lime Coke's frustration was genuine and that he's probably town.
Second of all, I can understand if he was still recovering from all of that. It just seemed like something I had to talk about.

Yeah, I'm sorry, but Porscha's ISO is unimpressive. Two-thirds of her posts are fluff, insisting Wilgy might not have been killed by Wolves, and chattin' it up with Brad.
There's a handful of reads, none with in-depth reasons, or reasons at all.
Maybe a quarter of her posts could be labelled "light engagement", but I was being generous to even get that number.
LC, man, there's nothing there. You went apeshit on leetic for not giving reads and "having a worldview". Do you not feel the cognitive dissonance when you decide Porscha's Town? She has next to nothing.
