Re: The Polka Heist [DAY 3]

Maybe sig is the baddie. Looking over his ISO from around the start of Day 3, he states suspicion of Wilgy, Mac, Michelle, and Tony, focusing mostly on Michelle. Actually, the only thing he said about Tony was
sig wrote: Wed Jan 08, 2020 9:58 pm Also re Dom, I want to bitch since I liked the TSP lynch.
which pings me. Like he wants to make sure, after the fact, that everyone knew he was voting for Tony.

There's
sig wrote: Wed Jan 08, 2020 10:07 pm linki: Inactive getting replaced was one thing I disliked about Michelle as well, back in the old days before TS the first person to sub in was almost always mafia, now that doesn't hold true for here, but it has stuck with me.
I have, more than once, gotten away with sketchy behaviour as a baddie, through me or (even better) someone else invoking "That's how it was in the old days". sig is using it to dial back the Michelle suspicion, so I don't really know how sketchy it is. I could see a baddie trying to generate content for themselves, or it's real reconsideration.

Night 3, sig completely disappears. No posts from Wednesday to Saturday. This is the last night that we had a kill... if he were gone night 4 and/or 5, then absence might be suspicious. Either way, Tony could have sent in the Night 3 kill, so meh.
sig wrote: Sat Jan 11, 2020 7:41 pmSo everyone's thoughts on TSP? He's an active voice not put of the core four and he hasn't seemed to have gotten much in the way of suspicion?
This is pretty nice to see, if the timing is legit.

Not looking at Tony, just DDL and Sloonei, even though all three were around at the end.

But then :haha:

That is wrong, by the way. TSP broke the tie. Sloon tied it again to save himself. The poll closed less than 30 sec after that so nobody was able to "let" anything about it.
My mistake
sig looks really good again, realizing and coming after Tony! DDL gets points here for honesty, since he's one of the other two who are receiving sig's ire.
sig wrote: Mon Jan 13, 2020 3:15 pm I'm still feeling Sloonie/DDL could both be mafia honestly.

Re: The Polka Heist [DAY 5]

This is some dense stuff and I have truly only read some of it. So I can only comment on thoughts about those parts.
Sloonei wrote: Mon Jan 13, 2020 8:12 pmThe crux of my argument is that point at the end: Tony and I were the two most active players in the thread on Day 4, at least in the early portion of the phase. He claims, here and at the end of Day 4, that I was his top suspect and that this was articulated early in the day. But both as I was interacting with him in real time AND as I look back on his activity now, I do not sense that he was putting any pressure on me or that he was in any way truly skeptical about me. His vote and his claims that he challenged me on things are not supported by his activity.
Saying he challenged you on things when he didn't is not the best thing to do. Tony?

I do think that "putting pressure" on someone is more likely to manifest when that person seems to be skating by. An attempt to deepen their involvement. If the two of you were the most active players, why would you need pressure applied?

Am I town or mafia?
Describe your new tactic, and how it helps you win.
I believe there’s a chance I was left alive so that I could be mislynched. I think it’s possible/probable that they’d be banking on a civilian or two to push the case forward. I want to get everyone’s opinion.
Epi pushed the case forward. You voted for him last night. Where does that leave you in regards to his alignment?

If you flip scum he's lynching himself anyway so down you go buddy
What do you mean?
What’s my alignment?
I think you're town. Did you not like my question to Macdougall?
Just wanted to ask. Why am I town?
I believe I have you to thank for me not getting lynched day one. If you were bad, you would have no reason at all to switch the vote from me to a baddie.

Nothing.

Epi usually gives me more.
I can only get on when I can get on. We are getting ready for exams and the end of the semester and that's the busiest two times of the year for me by far. There is also an earlier deadline in "All My Circuits," so that gets prioritized over this one.

I apologize for not being around, but this is the best I can do.
I try never to judge activity. But I judge behavior. You could be much more assertive with your low post count, yet you seen to be accepting a more passive playstyle and that bothers me.
I'm not bothered by a passive epi. If anything, it's one of the reasons I town read him.

I initially typed "I'm not bothered by ass".
Yes, I think it's civ-Epi enough to go low key until midgame, and then spring out with a big case to suddenly control a lynch.
I controlled the last lynch though. :sigh:
Oh, damn, that's right.

Looking back at his posts during the Dom lynch.
DrWilgy wrote: Sun Jan 05, 2020 10:25 pm On Dom: I'm very bad at reading him. Idk if I've ever seen him supa town and maybe this causes me to default to him being bad.
That's hedgey enough to warrant some suspicion.
Is DrW a player who knows Dom from many games?
Yes. Sloonei's right, though, Dom is hard to read.
