The exception is if Jack told mafia about the multiple cops thing, I guess. Potentially the case but seems a little like stacking the deck? Idk.

Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 1:21 amIt is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that @indiglo has been fired. She was Officer Trunkaby (Town/Prey).
The purpose of the "no quoting messages from the host" rule is so that the wording of a pm may not be used to confirm a town player that knows how the host words things or to out a scum player who does not. Spelling out the wording of a pm without literally quoting it still has the same negative effect. I believe Indiglo has been confirmed town by the post quoted above.
This action is not intended to shame Indiglo, who Juliets and I have both enjoyed having in our game. I apologize to her for not making this rule more clear. Nevertheless, her removal from the game is necessary to ensure fairness to the scum team.
Please do not attempt to use the specific wording of pms from the hosts in order to read players or self confirm.

Maybe Rej is the otter-turned-savage and is killing people.

I don't see this as an honest accusation.

I feel like there's an identity crisis going on. Gemma was the bird lover last game or person with the bird comics.

I've looked through the conversation with bob, and the idea that he is TMI-ing doesn't make sense to me. If he thought the Predators were the Mafia, then that would be Too Little Information. What is ultra-specific about this post anyway? It's a weird accusation, is specificity alignment-indicative? I don't see the TMI angle on bob here. Then Owner says it's about him saying the word 'PM', which I get as angle-shooting, but not TMI. The last part of this quote, I can't really resolve in my head. "A lot of this is up to how everyone as a whole interprets each other" feels like it drains meaning, rather than clarifies.Owner of a Lonely Heart wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 5:04 pmI am more voting for you for bringing up the word "pm".colonialbob wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 4:53 pm@Owner of a Lonely Heart my reasoning. Or how the wording ^^ here is defensive in saying that you aren't or your logic isn't like this.
I get that are explaining how you're not something, but a lot of this is up to how everyone as a whole interprets each other.
You may be this one idea or thing, but reading the quotations sounds like you know a thing or two. Or like I said, I feel like you are tmi-ing,
This looks like more genuine hunting. No issues with these good basic questions.Owner of a Lonely Heart wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 5:08 pm
So what about Spacedaisy? What do you like or dislike about her so far this game?
This looks more 'TMI' than anything I have read from bob. Maybe because I still have some bad vibes from Rej about the whole Miller claim thing, but this post doubles down on the idea that Rej is Civ. Looks like two things: one, Owner has TMI that Rej isn't Mafia, and two, a desire to avoid whatever trap a Civ Rej might be trying to set here.Owner of a Lonely Heart wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 5:20 pmFrom my understanding, a miller role is mainly an important distinction for whoever/whomever is/are the cop(s) in the game. IF everyone votes for him... and he turns up Mafia... how will we know the truth? I guess it means little in a closed setup where we don't know how many Mafia there are, but we can estimate. Is it accurate that it's "usually a mafia tactic"?
I haven't seen it used as a mafia tactic in awhile.

Given that, I think it's more important to look at the reason for replacement. Epi popped in practically before the game started. This is probably an indicator that whoever it was that signed up just didn't show up, or bowed out quickly for RL reasons. (My opinion.) That's null.

Got it, sorry, as you know I wasn't around for the action.Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2019 2:26 pmThat would mean him voting Kyle. I actually think that's the least likely. Why drive Kyle of all people that had one vote on them up to two votes to compete with Daisy and Bob? Seems nonsensical to me at least.
But maybe players have a more bus mentality here. I've seen that before.
I more so think that for example Bob could be scum, and Soneji made Kyle a viable wagon to compete with Bob's and Daisy's, so the chances that his teammate got lynched was smaller.
^Or switch Bob with Daisy.
It's a bit of a WIFOM point, but it's something I've considered. I just wonder whether Soneji would feel compelled to throw a weak vote on Kyle just for the sake of having a vote out there, or if there was more to it. I don't know Soneji very well.

The reason Soneji gave for the vote was silly.
Why did Soneji feel like he had to vote? Does Soneji make sure to definitely vote every D1? Cause he seems to be quite the AFK player, especially early. I would think he's had D1s where he doesn't vote (?)

Believe it in your own mind, no one can stop that, but don't bring it up in the thread.
Speedchuck, are you the kind of guy who busses a teammate, or tries to save?
Basically I'll try to save a drowning teammate if there's almost no way it comes back to bite me, I'll bus them if not.

It was your very recent game together that Owner publicly got town cred for "casting a wide net". You have no concerns that she might be emulating this praised behaviour?Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 4:52 pmMore narrow. Not actually trying to think about all kinds of angles.
I probably don't read Owner perfectly, but I'm not bad at it. Likely town imo.

Didn't get the linki on this. This is Owner's town game, then... what does Owner's scum game look like?Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 4:46 pmOwner "casting a wide net" was the exact phrasing that was used to describe why she was read town in the last game we played together. In other words, Owner is most likely town. [Insert tinfoil about Owner/Kyle team]

Re: Zootopia Mafia Day 2
Owner had their vote on you earlier, Kyle, following Epi and Sloonei's votes... now she has followed Dys's Sloonei vote. Maybe that's "casting a wide net", or maybe it's looking for a train to push all the way.

Kyle, do you suspect any of your voters, either today or yesterday? Your Soneji vote was a good look for you, do you have any teammate ideas?

Agree that Nut was somewhat of a surprising kill given the post restriction. But she was very unlikely to get lynched because of tipping the scales on Soneji.
Do you think Nutella was mafia?

I don't think a massclaim is the best idea at this point.indiglo wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 12:23 amI was actually just contemplating the pros and cons of doing a mass claim, and reading about it. I'm interested in hearing others' thoughts on this idea. When I was coming up in mafia (eons ago, LOL) info-dumping and role outing was a mod-kill offense. So this realm of role claiming and info-dumping is foreign soil to me. I know there are definitely pros and cons, and am interested in discussing whether we think it would be helpful, and at what point in the game it might be most helpful.
