I was quite clear. I've been in a game before where a wolf outed the SK in the thread to prevent them from pushing them. It was done in a WIFOM-y way. I see similarities between that and the thing Tim posted about Jack. Since his mindset is the mindset of someone who expects to die soon, it's possible Jack is SK and Tim knows that. In which case, he'd post this about Jack so that Jack lets him get one more misyeet.
But I'm uncertain, so test this tomorrow. If Tim flips town, disregard that, obviously. In that case it'd be a villager's gambit to test Jack's reaction. It makes more sense to me if it came from a wolf, but let's look at facts.
I'm sorry... that you feel that way.
I like how LC and Tim are both desperate to latch onto my weaker points and places where I've made mistakes. When it comes to other places, though, they are silent or passively accepting.

Re: The Elder Scrolls [DAY 4]
Again, I wholly disagree with that statement. I believe the opposite is true.
I'd just like to believe in my note, mostly. Could be TSP himself that sent the note though. Sends a note that says everyone at Boethiah is town, then he reveals that he, in fact, went to Boethiah. But the fact that it's Boethiah is a point I'm stuck on. I went to Boethiah, because Tim and Syn were going to Boethiah. It was public knowledge. TSP could have written the note about any Shrine, and then claimed it - going to Boethiah means he wants to help Tim make money, and he'd be townclearing anyone who went there. That would be a silly thing to do, for a wolf, right?Marmot wrote: ↑Sat May 22, 2021 12:11 pmLong Con wrote: ↑Sat May 22, 2021 11:55 am No, Mac didn't fake a red check on Scotty, I did.

Still townread Daisy despite Vulgard's case. Vulgard is looking like town here, but I guess it's one of the easiest ways to look towny - subbing in and taking fresh looks at everything.
Scotty looks pretty good from the reactions, but I already townread him. There was just one post I didn't like today:
I know TSP is actually on the poll, but... being unyeetable is something that a wolf cannot be. If town is unyeetable, then the wolves still can nightkill them as a recourse. If a wolf is unyeetable, that's a really big issue. How did Scotty the villager get to the logic that he should throw some broad-based shade at TSP for being off the poll? Being off the poll for consecutive days would have surely been a town thing.
TSP is now on the poll, thus making him not unyeetable. Are you reading TSP solely off of that ability.
I know you're primarily talking about Scotty, but you're also implying here that you think TSP has a town role if I'm interpreting correctly.
Almost, I'll rephrase my initial question. What makes you think TSP is town?
I'm somewhat conflicted about the note, but certain aspects of it lead me to believe it, despite part of my brain calling me a great fool.
Oof...

Disclaimers:
*I’m using the word “negative” very broadly to encompass “Jack’s reads are bad,” “I suspect Jack is a wolf,” and jokey “fuck you” kinda posts.
*There are a few bits in here that look like read attempts but they are very basics and are not followed up on
*I’m not personally upset at any of this. I can take a friendly rib and I can take disagreement and I can take suspicion. It isn’t that I think Tim is being mean or unfair. I think Tim is (consciously or unconsciously) putting light pressure on me, calling my reads bad, telling me to shut up and catch up, etc more than he’s trying to figure out my alignment because he’s a wolf. He doesn’t need to figure out my alignment. He needs to avoid yeet.
Spoiler: show
Yo Daisy you wanna prove to me your Town read this.
@DaisyCloud
You wanna believe me to be Town?
Well it’s simple.
I said last day Mac Consig checked Tim SK.
Mac flipped with a Consig like shrine.
Look how Jack worded this post “He needs to avoid yeet”
Saying how that Tim is solo aligned.
Jack!Mafia reveals Tim!NotMafia
What do you think of this post on Jack?
Mac flipped with a Consig like shrine."
I think you said Consig is what the rest of the mafia world calls a "cop", right? I think I read that.
It's disingenuous to imply that Mac cop-checked Tim as SK. Mac has two abilities that you might be referring to: "You may target a player to learn what race their role is.", and "You may target a player to learn one Shrine ability they have available to them."
Even if he happened to target Tim with the second ability, and even if he happened to get to see a Shrine ability that has a kill, he still wouldn't assume SK, when Tim could have been a vig. And they would have killed Tim by now if they suspected that. This whole things reeks of deceptive wordplay.
I looked at Mac's treatment of Gavial, and I think it's extremely comfortably within Mac's wolf range as distancing, and it gives me bad vibes that Gavial himself is trying to push this.Gavial wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 2:58 pmBut before I go to the post what actual town thinks this when I was spewed town from Mac.DaisyCloud wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 7:58 am if im lynched and you guys see i am town. please for the love of gravy lynch/kill gavial. okay thanks

Re: The Elder Scrolls [DAY 3]
I'm playing. This is a tough one, wolves are blending in very well.
How kosher is it to ask everyone what Shrine they went to last night?

Re: The Elder Scrolls [DAY 3]
Yeah, I read it. That was not a quarter of it, rather substantially more.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Tue May 18, 2021 8:41 pmThat’s like a quarter of it.
I’ve laid out the whole thing in one post like 30 posts ago.
My reading might be sloppy. Gimme the bare-bones of it, not a wall of quotes. Do not use the word 'Marmot'.

Re: The Elder Scrolls [DAY 3]
Your exasperation with Jack led me to look deeper into his accusations against you. Even when I read his big multiquote of why he suspects you, I barely came away with more than "her Marmot interactions", and I think that's suspicious.DaisyCloud wrote: ↑Tue May 18, 2021 8:23 pm can me and someone be masons with me? we can talk via emotes here in game thread. I can't be your mason, but I think I understand you.

Re: The Elder Scrolls [DAY 3]
Jack is pushing hard on Daisy for her Marmot interactions. Could be a setup if he's bad with Marmot, I do like that.

Re: The Elder Scrolls [DAY 3]
Jack, your issue with Daisy is entirely that you don't like her Marmot interactions, right?

Who else thinks they went to the same Shrine as Tim last night?
