Funny. I think I tried to save Dom.

Why do you think I tried to kill Dom?
Did you ever answer this?

Anyway, yes, I did read your posts on juliets. You suspected her many times. I think the first time you "suspected" her was a joke post related to fantasy football, if I recall.

Y'know what, you were also the only player in the entire thread to mention the Progressive option even though you didn't vote for it. Not that it means anything, I'm just pointing that out. You were also clearly going after Bullz early for his Progressive vote, but no one else.

But yeah, why do you think I tried to kill Dom? If Dom is who I think he is, then you should ask him if he thinks I tried to kill him.

Anyway, ofc I admit that there's more to you and juliets then just your Day 5 vote for her. I don't think I ever said otherwise.

I will reread you again. Do me a favor. Admit it's possible that a teamie of hers would push her into a tie knowing she would survive a lynch.

And again, please answer. Do you or do you not think we should utilize every bit of information we have (map based or not) to catch baddies? If you do think we should do this, then why did you just tell me not to use map reasons?

Looking over your ISO, saw this in your first few posts. Is your favorite music genre alternative? I'm not quite sure it is based on how you worded it here.

Linki Turnip - It does not matter that you pushed juliets into a tie on Day 5 considering juliets survived. You could easily be a teamie that knew she would survive so voted her. Do you really not see that?

"None of your cases have been thread based" - That's pretty strong language, considering that at least (on the top of my head w/o looking back), I know I've suspected Drac and continue to suspect Drac based on the Buglabush incident. As for the MM/Turnip stuff, I made sure I was allowed to talk on that before I did, so I find it completely relevant and don't know why you're against making cases based on map reasons. This is a map game. Are you saying nobody should make cases based on what happens on the map? If that's what you are saying, it seems like YOU are trying to push back people trying to find baddies.

I got one fact wrong in your case, and owned up to it once I realized my mistake. And "You say you've suspected me"...yes, I say. Do you not agree that I've been suspecting you and MM for days? Do you think I'm making this up or something? A quick search through my ISO would tell you that I am not.

Per the underline, I feel that means you are saying "Matt is good but is clueless." Is this correct? Because if you thought I was bad, there'd be no reason for you to say I have "no idea what he's talking about". If this is what you are saying, then you would be kind of right. I do feel that some of my suspicions must be correct. Must be. Just don't know which.

SVS - I wholeheartedly agree with your reason for sussing me (re: own the bone), but let's keep in mind that I've been trying to reserve myself after the embarrassing phase of MacD's policy lynch idea and lecture I received from Epig during Talking Heads. I took what they said to heart and am trying my best to be open minded. Even so, I've consistently voted or tried to get people to vote for MM, I just haven't typed out hundreds of posts as I usually do in a crazy craze.

I think it's possible you are correct on Lorab, but if Dom is really civ, then I would have to trust him on that score.

SVS - If you think I'm bad, what team do you have me pegged for? Though it is true she survived the second lynch against her when she was battlin' MacD, in the last minutes I voted for her and put her in a tie with MacD, and then we found out it was Mac who was lynched. W/o me putting her in a tie with MacD (as a matter of fact, I was trying to put her up two votes against Mac, unfortunately HBoy came in last minute and voted Mac), the town wouldn't have been sure that yes, once again, she survived a lynch against her. So you must think I'm on the Circle, right?

MM - Yeah that sucked. Regardless of me being wrong about his flip floppiness on Juliets, the fact still stands on her first and third lynch, he voted her after several, several others did, and didn't even vote the second time. Also, it still stands that he let the town know how improbable it was that Floyd and Luke would be on the same time team considering they are RL friends. But consider this, when all is said and done, Luke and Floyd are two players in a Mafia game. What makes it more improbable that they are on a team then any other two player combination? I feel like Turnip was trying to stick up for Floyd here. I don't have the Floyd lynch poll (HOSTS - Where's the Floyd lynch poll???) but I don't think Turnip voted him that day.

Metalmarsh89 wrote:I'll do it tomorrow. I'm already past my bedtime. :offtobed:

But if I don't get back to you, I give you permission to vote for me. :P
Haha.

Alright, so Turnip voted Juliets on the day she escaped death and death scooped up Canuckle instead. But since juliets did escape that lynch, it's reasonable to assume her teamies knew she would escape it, hence Turnip's vote. Also, Turnip was the last to vote for her.

Turnip was "out of town" the second time juliets was lynched and didn't vote at all. Then, on the third day, when juliets and her team had to know she was going to get voted out, Turnip votes her again.

At one point, Turnip points out that Floyd and Luke are RL friends, and he really doesn't think it's likely that Floyd is also a baddie on Witherdeath. But as we all know, Floyd was lynched and Turnip was "mistaken".

Going over the polls, Turnip actually votes juliets like, 10th, on the day she was actually lynched. I believed he was "dead" on the day Luke was lynched. That's really too bad considering that info would be useful right about now. And on the Floyd lynch, I have no idea. It wasn't in the polls section. What up with that? Though I do know, as I said above, he mentioned how unlikely he thought it would be that RL friends would be on a team together.

Anyway, sorry, I completely flipped a NO U on Turnip, but to be fair, I've been sussing him for many days now. I find it odd how he accused me of killing Dom and didn't tell me why.

As for Dom...

I couldn't find the post about MM. I think now that Golden said that to me.

:sigh:

Anyway, here is the post where Turnip thinks juliets is genuine...

OH.

Fuck. He was talkin' about Canuckle.

Holy crap Turnip. I'm only on the second page of your ISO, but your flip floppiness on juliets is very troubling. You vote her jokingly for fantasy football. Later on you vote her for real cuz you suss her. Then at one point you say you're feeling better about juliets and think she seems genuine. Like, 3 posts later w/o mentioning her at all, you tell someone you'd like to see juliets or Tranq lynched that particular day. Wtf though I thought she was genuine now?

Haha, still going through it, let's see if you were involved in her lynching. Be back in a sec.

G2H...

MM as the Doctor recruited Turnip who was already on Witherdeath, thus the Doctor also recruited on Witherdeath. Then Witherdeath got their hands on Dom (poor guy). Thus Willow in one of the night posts talking about how great and powerful her team is. Also this would make sense on why I was told dark dark days were ahead.

This needs more investigating. I believe just recently, Dom told me he thought I was off on MM, we'll see if I can find that post or if I'm imagining shit.

(if MacD is still reading this, he's prolly thinkin' "I told them policy lynch was a good idea" haha)

Also need to see if Turnip helped vote Luke and Floyd. Vewwwwy intewesting.

Nope. Not trying to make excuses, this is my own bad, but up until yesterday, I think, I was in pretty much 3 games at once since this game started.

Now this is my only game so I should be able to invest a bit more.

What's the scoop on Timmer? I think people believed he killed Epig with the Obsidian Dagger? Or is that not right?

Anyway, I believe there are 83 pages to the thread, not sure if I'll have time to do an entire reread, but I'll try to put in more effort then "vote MM" from here on out.

Also, just because Dom voted Cabal all game doesn't mean he's not on the team, FYI. However, as MacD pointed out with his policy lynch, I tend to grab a hold of something and don't let go, so this time I'll try and relax.

Going back to Drac/Buglabush, let's recall that Bug called out Luke for being Mafia, Luke said he was mafia and on a team with Bug. Epig brought this up before he was killed, and I brought it up once but it seems to have died down...

Here is an interesting quote from after Mac was non-lynched...

She would eventually place a vote on juliets after this was said (after 7 others did and she was clearly being lynched that day), but I dunno. Does this seem like she's defending juliets or is she still eyeing Mac?

Also, Epig specifically asked Lorab how she felt about Luke after Luke was lynched. Lorab said she would elaborate on her thoughts on Luke later, but never does, save one post where she believes that juliet was a Luke teamie.

Shortly afterwards, Epig was killed by the Obsidian Dagger. I wonder, why would Epig specifically ask Lorab about Luke? :ponder:

You obviously don't get cleared, because Ol' Tunnely Matt will decide to suspect you because he wants to think you're always bad. It's stupid because you (1) don't kill anyone, thereby sacrificing the ability to rid yourself of someone who may be a threat, and (2) basically say "I don't want to survive the next attempt on my life. I have this survival that could save me at a crucial point but I'm just going to throw it out because I'm a rebel".
Well, as we are seeing displayed right now, nobody wants to lynch you because you are so obvi not on Juliets team. On top of that, by being protected during a NK, the other Mafia team may not want to waste one on you assuming you won't die. It actually sounds rather smart to me, tbh.

Lol. Funny you say that, I'm looking at Lorab now. :workit:

And sure. Where would the town be without my ISO and tunnel skillz?

Linki - I have been convinced Bullz is no longer Juliets teammate, however, I don't think it would be stupid. You get cleared of being on a certain team if you go with that strategy. If you get cleared of a certain team, a lot less likely you will be lynched. How would that be stupid?

Anyway, lookin' at the Rabbi

Linki - Sure I"ll look at Turnip, but I already think he's Dr Crazy's evil resurrected friend.

You're a bona fide wind tunnel.
The urban dictionary describes wind tunnel as...

Wait, this is a family friendly site. I'll let you all look it up if you want to.

Not very nice MM!

Linki - Golden, c'mon peeps are accusing Wilgy of killing himself on a day they knew he wouldn't die. Are you saying it's outside the realm of possibility that Bullzeye has a protect and the team decided to "target" him when he wouldn't die?

Now that you bring it up, though...

Prolly not that likely. Dang. I thought I had Bullz there. :ponder:

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 8

Hmmm

On the day the lynch poll was separated into groups, here is Bullzeye's opinion of Luke and juliets...
Bullzeye wrote:
Luke11646

Slightly more talkative than his fellow new players (not too surprising given one is dead), I will extend the same invitation to Luke that I did to Bugla earlier in this post: If you're struggling, ask people questions. He has been doing that a little and his posts feel reasonable. I'd say Luke looks more civ than Bug does. He comes off as someone who is genuinely alone in the game and trying to find his feet IMO.
Bullzeye wrote:
Juliets

I like what I'm seeing from JC. She comes across very sincere and is making genuine attempts to find suspects. Her Banana vote is also one of the more reasonable. Her Sig vote on day 2 is also well put together and thought out. I think she's civ.
At one point he says he doesn't understand the JC case properly, and when he does vote for her he says "It seems like the thing to do!"

I understand Floyd will most likely be getting lynched, but I think Bullzeye needs to be watched. Let's remember he was also a Prog voter.

Linki - Lol Bullz. Okay fair enough. Bullz, at one point juliets responds to you and says she agrees with almost everything you've said. Do you think that is her buddying up to you or is it because you're teamies?

There is no way in the world that HamburgerBoy is juliets teammate.
I must've missed a lot. :/

Anyway, will be ISOing Bullz now. We'll see what his feelings on juliets and Luke were.

Right now Bullz has taken priority over both you and HBoy. However, feel free to post on your meds, I still think that would be epic :workit:

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 8

Sorry for the four posts in a row, just looking over polls and noticing stuff.

Bullzeye voted for Canuckle the first day juliets was on the chopping block and then he voted Mac the second day. He was the second to last voter for juliets the day she was actually lynched.

And Bullzeye also strangely did not vote for his favorite music genre on Day 0, by voting Prog.

Bullzeye also seems to be employing the same strategy as he did as a baddie in Talking Heads, but being loads busy and not being able to catch up. BIG HMMMMMMMMMMMMM

:mafia:

Linki - Thank you for posting HBoy! I am trying not to tunnel so much as I have in the past, keeping an open mind on you. Still have to look you over, though. I remember about 3 or 4 days ago I read about half of your ISO and thinkin' you were a baddie bad but let me catch up all the way (apparently Golden says if it wasn't for you juliets wouldn't be lynched!!!)

I admit with other games, I haven't had the time to go over stuff as closely as usual, however I am still pinged at his last minute switch to Mac. I didn't realize he was the driving force behind her getting lynched though, so I'll check out his ISO and see if I agree.

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 8

Btw just because this hasn't been brought up for awhile...let's not forget...

Progressive voters included MM, Bullzeye, Floyd, SVS, Epignosis, BWT. Remember one civvie, one Mafia, and one indy received info that a possible outcome of the poll was progressive voters being taken off the lynch poll on Day 1. Who replaced bwt? Or was he killed?

I'm actually going over your ISO now, but have you considered MM?

Oh wait, I think you did say that you didn't think it held much water.

Different question then - Whoever brought up that the Doctor was civvie in LC and BR's last World game, do you think he would still be civvie or do you think they would switch it up? Looking over his description again and considering he took out TH (well for two seconds anyway), I don't think he is.

Linki - Lol. Anyway what do you think about the character? Civ, baddie, or indy?

Dear Living Statue,
I fear you are dead or have been turned. Perhaps even stuck forever if the Gem is lost. Nonetheless, I have received word that my destiny lies elsewhere. If you are alive and still an ally, good luck to you brave sir. Perhaps one day we will meet again.

Sincerely,

Where's the NorthWest option at, Long Con?? :sigh:

Okay, so I'm on an epic quest to save the land, feelin' a little like Frodo Baggins. Frodo Baggins was played by Elijah Wood. Elijah Wood starred in a movie called North.

Obvi North is the correct answer.

Anyway, I'm going to read HBoy's second half ISO tomorrow (prolly just reread the whole thing actually) and see if anything pops out.

Metalmarsh89 wrote:They aren't the only ones Matt.

I also happen to know that fingersplints and Typhoony were both within three squares of TH's dead body at the time of his death. I also know that Canucklehead arrived on that square directly after TH came back to life.

So there are other options. I thought Canucklehead was the one, but that's obviously false. Typhoony is another possibility. Fingersplints could be too, but I think Typh was more likely.
I'm surprised I missed this, thank you Turnip.

The crazy Doctor also knows who is within three squares of him, does he not?

Yep, just checked he does.
Dr Von Dreszenstein - Sends out his dogs each night from his square to search for experiment subjects or dead bodies. He will know who is within three squares, and choose one of those players to experiment on. *secrets*
