I've known SpaceDaisy for nearly a decade (!!!) but it was an absolute pleasure getting to know Seanzie.

* game lineup coordinator @Marmot . I really thank you for being patient as I looked for the best time in my schedule to host this game. When I hosted it, I couldn't have asked for a better time. For the first ten months of this year, I was doing my job and the job of the vacant Employment Attorney so I was destroyed with doing a zillion trials. I finally got that position filled in October and then was ready to host when I had some time off for the holidays. You showed me nothing but kindness and patience when I needed it and I thank you. I am so grateful others were willing to host their games first because I really wanted this third installment to come to fruition.

* every single player. I appreciate you taking a chance on this. I was excited to see some *super* OG players and new ones (or at least new to me). I like a good mix.

For those that don't know, the Felt franchise came about when I had a dream that I hosted a game about, well, felt. After jokingly telling Tangrowth about it, they encouraged me to actually pull it together! So I did. And then Felt 2: Rise of the Denim was even more fun. Thank you for helping me keep this beloved franchise alive.

Felt - The New Fabrics Take Over

The textiles made their way back to the amusement park, where they saw scraps of fleece.

"I've got one more shot at this," said Felt. "I owe it to all of you."

"I can't believe how many lives have been lost," said Taffeta.

"Wait, is that lace on the carousel?" asked Flannel.

Velvet, Flannel, Taffeta, Burlap and Felt each chose an animal on the carousel. Three other riders joined, each picking a different animal. The carousel started up, going slowly at first, the lights flashing.

"Wait, I want off of this!" cried Burlap.

The person running the carousel laughed maniacally. "You're never getting off!"

"HEY," said Felt. "I recognize that voice!"

"Terrycloth!" the textiles said in unison.

Terrycloth began to chant:

There's no earthly way of knowing
Which direction we are going
There's no knowing where we're rowing
Or which way the river's flowing

Fleece, Lace, and Wool jumped off the carousel. Once these riders were off safely, the carousel sped up.

"AAAAAACK" cried the civilian textiles.

Terrycloth sang louder:

Yes, the danger must be growing
For the rowers keep on rowing
And they're certainly not showing
Any signs that they are slowing

TonyStarkPrime was the first to fly off to his death. The others soon succumbed to their injuries. Except Felt, who died of a broken heart watching all of his beloved textiles die before him.

Day 4: I Wanna See My Name in Neon Lights

The cake took another life but it was unsuspected. The town took home leftovers to the carousel factory where they were staying. Some of the German chocolate cheesecake got lodged in Neon's throat. She erupted in a blaze of fire - as everyone knows, Neon and coconut are highly explosive when combined.

Neon has been lynched. She was Denim (vanilla civ).

Night 3: Making Lemonade out of Lemonfairy

"Wow, I've not eaten anything in ages!" cried Felt.

"Let's stop at this patisserie to refuel. It's mostly got European cakes but it has cakes from the Americas too," said Taffeta.

The group stopped for tea and cake. Almost everyone ordered cheesecake. Some ordered German chocolate cake. A few folks even ordered German Chocolate Cheesecake. The Proprietor gave each textile guest a hostess gift. Inside was a plastic apron.

"I think this has been used before," Denim whispered to Flannel.

"Hey, it's free. It's nothing Madame Laundress won't be able to *shout it out* back at Felt HQ," they replied.

Someone began coughing. The group looked around the table until their eyes all settled upon Brocade. Her face turned pink, then red, then purple. She wheezed as foam released from her mouth. Dr. Denim rushed to her side but it was too late.

Lemonfairy has been NK'd. She was Brocade (a vanilla civ).

What’s the worst gift you have ever received?

Mine was at a White Elephant last year and consisted of an apparatus you attach to your toilet so you can flush it with your foot. Very gag gift vibes, Luckily, someone stole it off me and I got to choose another gift (which ended up being a World Market ‘Teas Around the World’ tin.

The group heavily mourned Dennis’s death while drinking spiked hot cocoas and arguing whether Die Hard and Meet Me in St. Louis are actually proper Christmas films.

“It only takes place during Christmas; it doesn’t have any Yuletide themes!” Shouted Burlap.

“Well the other one transpires over a full calendar year!” Argued Felt.

Corduroy and Taffeta walked arm in arm to look at a puppy that had sauntered over to their group.

“Can we keep it?” Corduroy asked.

Before anyone could answer, the dog grabbed its poison kit and jabbed Corduroy with it.

RDB has died. He was Corduroy.

Night 2: Hats Off; Gloves On

After the debacle with the pennyfarthing collision, the textile group was noticeably frazzled and harried. The group decided to take a moment of respite in a nearby shop.

"I think we should go into this haberdashery," said Corduroy.

"No, the millinery!" countered Flannel.

"What do you think, Tweed?" asked Felt. "We've had trouble with Hatters before, I vaguely remember."

"Hmm, let's go into the millinery anyway," Tweed answered in his usual thoughtful manner.

The group inside. They failed to see Fleece was already in the millinery, hiding behind a dressform. Fleece knocked over a humongous plat of boxes containing iron fedoras for an upcoming life-size Monopoly game. They fell onto Dennis and he was crushed to death.

Dennis has been NK'd. He was Tweed.

After the calamity at the holiday party, the team knew it needed to act fast.

"I found a scrap of terrycloth on the eastern trail," said Velour.

Let's go!" said Velvet. "I love the mountains this time of year."

The civilian textiles set out and happened upon an amusement park.

"I think this is the last place we saw Satin," remarked Brocade. "I miss their warm hugs."

The textiles began boarding a log flume ride. "Wow, I definitely see some Fleece here too," stated Muslin.

One by one the textiles went down the chute until only Velour was remaining. At the bottom, the textiles all gathered around waiting for their last friend. "Where is he?" Denim wondered aloud.

After 15 minutes and no sight of Velour, the team retraced their steps back to the launch off spot of the log flumes. There sat Velour's body, which had been wrapped around an animatronic bear.

Quin has been murdered by miscreant textiles. He was VELOUR.

I think I would pick an elevator. A surprising amount don't have CCTV and you would get to hear/see folks do things that they normally wouldn't when in a outwardly public space.

What’s the best office party (holiday or otherwise) you’ve ever attended?

My answer: Last night my husband @reywaS (who will literally never see this because he “forgot” his password) attended a holiday party thrown by the fitness studio owners where I teach yoga. It was held at one of those family fun zones where they have arcade games, ski-ball, Go-Karts, laser tag, batting cages, mini golf, VR games etc. The studio owners rent the entire place out for us fitness instructors and our families so it’s a great time.

Day 0: Catching Up with Felt

After the events of Felt Mafia and Felt Mafia 2: Denim Paradise, our intrepid heroes Felt and Denim decided to reach out to other types of fabric. Along the way they encountered floofy fabrics like organza and taffeta, and rugged fabrics like corduroy and flannel. No one could quite figure out brocade! Were burlap and muslin sister fabrics?

The fabrics came together for a tea party. Everyone opted for a different tea. Suddenly, the tea party was crashed by a few rogue imps. Lace was quite beautiful but wow was she scratchy. Fleece was the cilantro of the fabrics. Terrycloth was okay as a one-trick pony, but no one ever used her for gala attire. These fabrics had had it. They murdered Angora and Cashmere right there at the party!

Felt and Denim knew they would have to call the team together to rid the world once and for all of malicious fabrics. Could they do it? Would velvet and velour ever stop meowing at one another? Let's find out.
