Where's Phoenix? What do we know about Phoenix?

Pluto, who are you suspicious of? Besides who you just said? I'm not sure if I trust you, but I'm not sure if I don't.
I'm confused, I make a case for someone and I am found suspicious b/c of it. I stop accusing others and I am found suspicious for it. :p
I came into the game late, reborn. I immediately dove in and started reading people and tried to get a feel for what was going on, and who may be bad. Apollo mentioned a suspicion of Phoenix as well as a few others that I read. I pinpointed Phoenix for her low posts, laying low perhaps, and then her explanations for missing votes as if she was trying too hard to be civ. I still suspect Phoenix. But, I am also starting to suspect Apollo. It is like he is standing on a pedestal and pointing all around saying, "look at him, look at her" just trying to keep the focus off of himself. As for Eros, I only wish I suspected him. I don't like him, but I think he is civ :/

I don't think you need us. After all, you're the one criticizing people's ability to summarize information.

Votes Pandora
I'm sorry I haven't been around much today. I have been gone all day, but I am here now. I have a question for Apollo, Eros, Electra, and Chronos. What is it about me exactly that made you want to vote for me. I know some of you talk about a bad vibe. Do you have and suspicions with a real explanation?

Maybe he's new to Mafia, not sure. I'm not defending him, just a suggestion.

I'll vote enchanted highway. It sounds nice :)

That sentence is pretty suspect tbh. That seems like more of a slip than anything else I've seen in this game. It sounds like you threw that "yet" in there by accident. It could be seen as you saying, "I am bad, but I haven't done anything shady for you to call me out on as of yet."

:ponder:
The "yet" was intentional but I did not mean it how you interpreted it. I meant...
The old Pandora said basically nothing. I am the new Pandora and haven't even been here a full day. Day one lynch, many people talk about how there is not much to go on yet and some people end up randomizing their vote because of it. Well, this is my Day 1. When looking at Pandora, no one should have anything to go on yet. Again, yet, b/c this is like my Day 1. I'm sure that is why I am not even allowed to be voted for.

3. Vesta - Nothing has stood out to me as suspicious about her, but I would not rule her out as bad either. Are you seeing something?
Aprhodite puzzles me.

I disagree about Pandora, who made a defense of Athena not being Herr H. As though that meant something.

Why ask me if I'm seeing something about Vesta, but not about the other two?
I know you have to take into consideration what the previous Pandora said, but she/he was practically non-existent. AND, her post about Athena and hinzlemann was a QUESTION! See below...

"No mention of a Hinzelmann NK, so self-protecting? Can't self-protect twice so he must be on the prowl tomorrow night  ... Athena missed the vote, but was still protected, ruling out Athena as Hinzelmann, yes?"

I am not sure how you can have any suspicions of me yet. :noble:

Apollo wrote:Pandora, as a freshly reborn goddess, can you give us your perspective on the game as a whole so far? Sometimes I feel like we can get tunnel vision from being in the midst of things for so long and a fresh pair of eyes can be insightful.
My thoughts are that we seem to be doing a poor job at getting the baddies. However, the roles seem to talk a lot about disguises and things not being as they seem. With that and with so many secrets in the roles, I think it is difficult to know exactly who is dead and who is alive as well as who is carrying out the actions that are taking place.
There also seems to be many inactive players. This also contributes to the confusion. I kind of feel like I am an armed man walking into a room full of people who are all wearing the same costume. Who do I shoot?
It is Day 5 and looking over the game as a whole, I see mostly confusion as if it were Day 1 or 2.

Just for the sake of exploring all possibilities, it should be said that this SK could do something crazy like skip night kills for the sake of making non voters seem suspect.
Yes, but I think that would be a bad strategy for a role that should want to kill off as many people as quickly as possible (I'm making what I consider to be a fairly weak assumption that the SK has a LMS win condition).
I have to agree with Apollo here. Phoenix, why would you forgo your NKs when you are trying to get rid of everyone in order to win?

Win with your team, dead or alive (except SK, lol)

So this post made me think to reread Phoenix. He/she didn't really post anything on topic until Day 3 and even then, nothing original until day 4. At that point, the post was only about Eros's playing style. I understand he/she was insanified or something like that, but he/she seemed to post more during this time when no one could understand him/her than when he/she was not insanified. Maybe Phoenix is laying low, trying to get by unnoticed. Phoenix missed votes/lynches like Apollo says. He/she always makes it known in the thread when he/she missed voted, sounding like he/she is trying too hard to appear civ. These are my thoughts.

It's not totally damning of course, but a point to remember.
Yes, I think that's right. She was targeted by Tech Boy, so my suspicion is that she is on the other baddie team. I'm hesitant to draw too many conclusions about Hinzelmann, because I'm guessing he is quite a powerful and secret role, but I guess we have to take the hostesses at their word for now.

linki: Ceres makes a bunch of good points. We don't know whether the two indies are civ friendly or not.
Apollo, what secrets are you talking about with Hinzelmann. I copied and pasted this from the first page...

Hinzelmann He loved his adopted American Home of Lakeside, WI. He loved it so much, he made a secret deal with it; nothing bad or harmful would ever come to Lakeside as long as Lakeside never really looked into the one young person who mysteriously disappeared each year with the arrival of Spring. Hinzlemann has the opportunity to kill every night, or to self protect, but he cannot do both on one night, and he cannot self protect two nights in a row. He CAN kill two nights in a row.

I am just wondering if you know something that the rest of us don't?

Also, other than being a little bit less than stellar in terms of contribution... is there anything else about Fortuna?
No mention of a Hinzelmann NK, so self-protecting? Can't self-protect twice so he must be on the prowl tomorrow night  ... Athena missed the vote, but was still protected, ruling out Athena as Hinzelmann, yes?
