Grr. I just missed it. I actually was able to click the circle, but not able to hit submit. It wouldn't have helped me get less votes than Hercules anyway. :(

I find Fortuna the most suspicious. In addition to what's been said recently, I noticed this in one of her posts (http://www.mafiathesyndicate.com/viewto ... 248#p39248):
Fortuna wrote:

This sounds too much like she's trying to sound like a civvie. And, actually, the civvies are a team. And, in fact, there are 3 civs who have BTSC, if that's what she meant.

This is also the post right after the one where she suddenly realizes that she had the most votes in the last lynch and had apparently been saved. You'd think that after seeing that, she'd go to the roles to see who might have saved her. And it happens that the lynch switch and lynch save belong to the civvie group with BTSC.

All of this just isn't adding up for me.

And I'm not really seeing the suspicion of Athena. And Apollo's case that Poseiden could be Hinzelman based on being MIA is too circumstantial for my taste.
I did mean BTSC. And, you are right, I could have gone to the roles to try to figure out how I was saved from the lynch after I found out. But, I didn't. I had so much going on at the time. With my job I'm usually crazy busy a few days out of the week. Anyway, I know you don't like the whole "I'm civvie" defense, but I don't know how to prove it to you.

Now Zeus is doing the same with Athena :ponder:

Anyone have an idea about whether this strategy of being blatant is a civvie or baddie thing?
It would be a bold baddie move possibly. Too bold in my opinion. Of course you may factor in WIFOM which will bring you back to us being bad again. But that still makes it a very bold move for a baddie.

Put it this way. As a civ you see another person you think is civ being put under suspicion. How would you handle the situation? So far Athena has suspected a civ and failed to vote twice. In my opinion it is more common for civs to miss votes. Not that baddies don't. They certainly do.
Don't you think it's an equally bold move for a civvie to make? It's like saying 'here I am baddies. Come and get me/us'.
I agree with Zeus and think it is too bold of a move for a baddie. Plus, Eros is defending me, a civvie, so I know he must be civvie too.
I do think it is a bold move for a civvie, but not AS bold. If I were a civvie and knew a couple of suspected others to be for sure civvie, I think I would stick my neck out there and say, "hey, don't vote them, they are good." Even if I didn't have any evidence to show, I would still try.

About low posters - I really don't think they should be ignored.

1. Aphrodite - 3 posts, 1 vote D0 and 1 vote N2 - no lynching votes.
2. Ares - 1 post, 1 vote D0.
3. Electra - 3 posts, 1 vote D0 and 1 vote N1 - no lynching votes.
4. Helios - 3 posts, 1 vote D0 and 1 vote N2 - no lynching votes.
5. Pandora - 3 posts, 1 vote D0 and 1 vote D2 for Prom.
6. Poseidon - 8 posts, 1 vote D0 and 1 vote D1 for Herpes.

and some special* cases of low posters who have been insanified, but have managed to vote on a regular basis.
1. Mars - 5 posts, missed only N1 vote
2. Herc - 7 posts, missed N1 vote
3. Phoenix - 9 posts, missed D2 vote

*Note that I have not included the insanified posts. These are all players that have less than 10 posts.
If you spot any mistake or if I missed someone, let me know.

At the other end of the spectrum, I think Apollo is the most talkative.:P

Perseophone's going after Fortuna seems awfully opportunistic and Medusa's echoingof it is just ironic.
These posts are interesting. There are 5 players with less posts than me according to the first quoted post. And then Eros recaps the players after me. I think that maybe Perseo and MEdusa are trying to "throw me under the bus" for my minimal activity but are not the others with less activity than me because they are all on the same baddie team and know I am civ. That's got to be it :noble:

Ah, yes, this post. It caught my eye (meaning - got my interest) when Athena pointed out that Arty said a lot of civs voted for Wisconsin. How would Arty know that a lot of civs voted that way unless he was bad and knew who the civs were. That was all. I thought it was worth looking into. So, I asked Arty to explain himself, i.e. tell us how he knew a lot of CIVS voted Wisconsin. I thought my post was pretty self explanatory.

Linki with Perse....I forgot it was Arty that was the one who said that about the civs voting Wisconsin. This new name thing has be all messed up and confused. I like it when I can put a name with an avatar that I know. It is easier to keep track of who said what.
See that wasn't so hard. Why did it take you so long to respond? Why did you ignore Vesta?
I never saw the post before. I am crazy busy with Mafia and real life stuff. I must have just missed it.

linki, no I didn't realize. Last I looked it was Arty 7, me 5. Then I was writing a post and getting all kinds of linki. When I finally posted..state choices were up. I have no clue how I survived if what you say is true. Someone must have protected me. Thank you to whoever did :)

And, I am going with Ohio for sure.

Linki with Eros - I appreciate your support. I don't like to give my opinion unless I think I have something worth saying. I don't like to be hasty or speculate too deeply b/c I know that can be risky.

Vesta wrote:My lament to Fortuna to summon her forth:

O Fortuna
velut luna
statu variabilis,
semper crescis
aut decrescis;
vita detestabilis
nunc obdurat
et tunc curat
ludo mentis aciem,
egestatem,
potestatem
dissolvit ut glaciem.

Sors immanis
et inanis,
rota tu volubilis,
status malus,
vana salus
semper dissolubilis,
obumbrata
et velata
michi quoque niteris;
nunc per ludum
dorsum nudum
fero tui sceleris.

Sors salutis
et virtutis
michi nunc contraria,
est affectus
et defectus
semper in angaria
Hac in hora
sine mora
corde pulsum tangite;
quod per sortem
sternit fortem,
mecum omnes plangite!

O Fortune,
like the moon
you are changeable,
ever waxing
and waning;
hateful life
first oppresses
and then soothes
as fancy takes it;
poverty
and power
it melts them like ice.

Fate – monstrous
and empty,
you whirling wheel,
you are malevolent,
well-being is vain
and always fades to nothing,
shadowed
and veiled
you plague me too;
now through the game
I bring my bare back
to your villainy.

Fate is against me
in health
and virtue,
driven on
and weighted down,
always enslaved.
So at this hour
without delay
pluck the vibrating strings;
since Fate
strikes down the strong man,
everyone weep with me!
