Re: X-Men [Day 3]

I didnt feel like Phoenix was genuine when she posted "Oh my bleeding heart etc." And then showed up so sudden this vote and last. Not like I am going to survive, but i will vote her anyway and hope if the Magneto theory is true, it would backfire on them.

Re: X-Men [Day 3]

Furthermore, those who think I "fabricated this theory" need to take a step back to realize it's a logical answer and can happen, and DID happen. If you could believe "my teammates saved me", why can't you try to acknowledge what I said could happen also? Take the blinders off X- men if we want to win this game and stop over thinking it guys. I don't think Dazzler is half of what she is cracked up to be and find my vote possibly going in her direction today or Vision or Spiral. All 3 have been acting shady and pressing for me hard this whole game IMO. Those are 3 to be weary of.

Re: X-Men [Day 3]

What they did (The BrotherHood) and what I said is exactly what happened. In a game with 7, I needed to stay alive and they seized the opportunity to buy them another day and kill. Unfortunately for those 7, they didn't get to kill last night though. I honestly don't think all the people gunning to get me out ARE part of the Brotherhood today, but obviously they want to chime in and put a nail in my coffin. But, what are they going to do when I'm gone? They have no one knew to target and can hide for only so long. Why would I risk this early in the game being so ballsy and talking as much as I did? Some people are being very smart and realizing what I have been saying can be true, and it is.
Call me "phony" and whatever else you want, but these Alpha male players like Avalanche and Sunfire need to open their eyes. I appreciate Havok and Sebastian for at least considering when I post and not treating me like how some people have when I try to reason. But you can only defend so long until the people gunning for me realize they were wrong if I die. I hope Beast is on my side and does a Rez, I would really appreciate it so you guys don't lose a valuable player if I die tomorrow.

I know this wasn't directed at me but really I hadn't seen anything to make me think Scarlet Witch was definitely good. I didn't think she was bad though, and didn't see anything that would make me think she should be a civ ninja's target. Hopefully Psylocke saw something I didn't, as I think it's a bit strange in general for her to have used one of her only two kills so early in the game.
I was saves because i already had suspicion on me to get lynched the next day. I think some voters on T bird were bad to try to get him out first and then me second.
Who do you guys think should be examined from the voters? I know some of you think Avalanche is leadingyou the right direction, but hes wrong about me and will cause you to revevaluate what you think you know if i get lynched tomorrow.

Re: X-Men [Night 2]

Just something I remembered I wanted to throw out there even though it probably isn't the same, but on the show Rogue went to Muir Island for the experiment to get rid of her powers, and it was a ploy to help Apocalypse. Trying to separate show from this game, but I just remembered and kinda am weary now choosing.

Also, I already speculated like I said that they knew obviously me and T Bird were either gonna be lynched and didn't care, so they got him out because I already had suspicion. It was to save me for Day 3 to get lynched and I hope you guys examine some of the voters on T Bird that made it tie up near the end. I think (most) the voters on me yesterday were Civ going with how I appeared bad with my postings and thought they had it right. But I feel Mojo was acting really weird yesterday, and I want to hear more from Polaris. Havok I can understand him trying to figure out the Day 1 lynch more now and his style is just different than other people playing, as is mine and we both are taking poundings for it because we try different styles and strategies than most. Look at me being bold and trying to help more discussion, it earned me huge targets on me and Baddies eating that up. That's just one problem I sometimes have with these games, someone does a different style of play and you guys take it as "bad" because it isn't typical. When I play, I like to make bold moves and I take risks posting more often than some playing. It usually looks like I'm "bad" then too because I have attention but I don't like being quiet like some Civ do.
All I ask is you guys examine the thread tonight and Day 3 carefully and try to accept my accurate theory above with Me going to be out soon and setting T Bird up to die first, most likely cus it was easy and he wasn't talking.

I didn't think Quicksilver's poor logic regarding indies was pingy, but I think his defense was. Frankly, I'm shocked so many late votes came in for Thunderbird and got him lynched.

I think Hawkeye and The Vision are being very astute.

This is a quote from someone (I think Havoc) to Quicksilver, and it sums up my thoughts, more or less.
"I feel like you were trying to use emotional appeals to survive, and not the good kind."

So I'll be looking at him tomorrow. And at Sunfire, about whom I have very very bad gut feelings. I'll probably build a case in the morning.

Quicksilver wrote:I don't mind trying the experiment on myself, but there are people volunteering I would be comfortable with Longshot also.
WHY??? This is the only interaction I have between you and Longshot:

Longshot wrote:
Quicksilver wrote:I have to vote bleh... I would like to vote for a quiet player like Banshee, but I think maybe some people haven't started as Epignosis has said he needs a replacement. I understand both sides of the Pronoun argument as stated earlier, but I do have to pick someone to vote so I will try to trust the group saying Deathlok's slip up is really a Baddie mistake. I still dont think there is enough evidence to vote against the other people being accused today yet, Avalanche, Scarlet Witch, etc.
(Votes Deathlok)
Quicksilver, this has been bothering me and I haven't found an answer so I'm just going to ask. I double checked and Scarlett Witch was the one who made the potential "slip". It was that "slip" that I saw all the discussion about regarding did that mean she was a baddie or just mis-gendered Polaris. What slip up did Deathlok have that you are saying here was a baddie mistake? I may have just missed it and am confused because the only potential slip I saw was Scarlett's.
It seems vaguely antagonistic, and I honestly don't remember Longshot having said much of anything else this game. (My apologies if I've been overlooking you, Long.) So why do you suddenly trust Longshot the most, after never talking about him or to him and after he totally wrecked your "reason" for your vote? Or are you going with the second strategy and voting for someon you're suspicious of? This feels very baddie to me.
Phoenix wrote:Ughhhh RIP Thunderbird! Not going on hunches anymore... :(
The what will you go on?
As for Longshot, he was merely asking me questions over and over andnot wrecking anything and trying to understand why I did certain things. The quote you pulled ^^^was from him trying to understand me and he asked several times for me to answer after that quote if you look back. He even mentioned he wanted clarity even though I said I was tired of defended so much. I finally answered which is why there aren't many back and forth from us.
I take it as a Civ trying to understand another Civ reasoning. He also did NOT vote me which gained some trust with me. When I made the post about the experiment, I said "...but there are people volunteering I would comfortable with (Longshot) also." I'd be okay voting for him, White Queen, or Phoenix for the poll. But, none of those want to try it except Longshot. I appreciate anyone who tried to save me by voting for TB also, even though he also turned out to be Civ and not. Bad :/

I may have tried emotional appeal to help not die this early, but I was being targeted. I get a little frantic sometimes when I know I'm Civ.

If I were bad, why would I be putting myself front and center? I'd be sitting back and going with the flow this early of the game.

And Longshot: I reread your question sorry. I was trying to say and mistyped with bad grammar, when I voted for him it was because he was mentioning the pronoun slip up and really insistent upon it. Like, Aha! As an easy way to get attention to someone, because I mentioned I didn't think the slip was something to make me vote for Scarlet Witch also. So I didn't have much to go on besides he looked fishy to me on Day 1 with not much to go by. Also, I will be voting for Polaris because that is who he suspected and not Havok for today. I do want to keep a few others on my radar.

Also guys, being honest me seeing a photo of an Indy that is a villain from the cartoon series I watched of X men just makes me inclined they are bad. I know I have said they are dangerous, but I need to separate my background of X Men from this game and play that way. I apologize for making people confused. This post really caught my eye. So, I took a look at what you have posted so far in the game, and you haven't voiced any suspicion so far. You seem content to sit back and not call anyone out. You seem to be saying in this post "Hey, everyone, I didn't vote for the civvie that just got lynched".

So, you have not suspicions whatsoever???
I saw that this morning also. I get a ping by Polaris, if anything sounding indie more than Baddie. But nonetheless, an enemy. I will be keeping an :eye:
I did not suspect Havok because he suspected Polaris!! I agreed with him here first of all that she seemed suspicious.

Then, i stated my reasons for Havok having my eye was because he expected a different outcome on the poll and asked Epi. That made me want to watch him, and I already made I was eying Polaris before that post from Havok about the poll.

Two totally separate reasons for me to suspect each individual. Don't twist my words.

I'm not saying it's suspicious (I don't think it is, particularly). I'm just saying your logic on this is very, very off.
I'm curious to see what your response to this is, Quicksilver.

I disagree on it not being suspicious however. While saying something illogical isn't necessarily damning, contradicting oneself never looks civvie to me.
I was saying when I'm Bad, I want the Civs out and Indy could either help me or be someone later on to get rid of. When I'm good, I want all baddies and Indy out. This particular game I was saying has 10, people we need out. I'm trying to just make sure the other X men on my team realize how dangerous the Indy are also.
And Spiral, then vote for me and waste a vote. Otherwise, take a step back and see I'm trying to help and I may not be as experienced as some, but I'm trying.

Scarlet Witch, dear sisters lol. I've been dying to say that. Anyway, in the past when I've played and been Bad, I've had the goal of eliminating Civs to win. Indy usually can go either way to win etc. I understand you point that there are more Baddie than Indy in this game, but our goal as a whole is to eliminate all 10 to win. I'm focussing on trying to get them all out, so it would be a bonus to get the Indy first when their powers grow each day/zing hot making it almost impossible to get some of them unless the ones with certain powers are still in this game on our X-Men side. If I were Bad, I would be focussing on Civs, not Indy. We need to really think about this vote because we keep not having much good insight when we vote and we accidentally got a Civ last time.

Polaris "not caring" about missing the vote because he/she didn't have anyone to vote for. I know Indy characters have their own agendas, but to me if someone were Civ, they would be trying to help because every vote counts. If they were bad, they would vote to help make sure one of their teammates stayed alive and get someone Civ out. But, if they were Indy, it could go either way. So I think either Polaris is bad where neither of his/her teammates were on the line to die, so they cared less. OR, Polaris may be an Indy and cared less because someone would die that wouldn't help their cause. Just how I'm feeling here. Professor X urged us to step up and work together, so I'm trying to think things out this time and be more confident in who I vote for to get us back on our A game. :srsnod:

I realize I did miss the vote deadline, but I don't feel particularly bad, I didn't really have anyone I wanted to vote for. At least there's no penalty in this game.

Re: X-Men [Night 1]

I will go with Obscenely wealthy actually
(Votes) The How to Spot Imposters seems too easy the more I think about it. But that's just me.

Re: X-Men [Night 1]

Rip Deathlok :/

Im surprised we got it wrong with the chances of getting a Baddie higher than a usual game :(

I'm kind of leaning to read How to Spot Imposters, or being Obscenely Wealthy (and other defensive tactics).

Re: X-Men [Day 1]

I have to vote bleh...

Re: X-Men [Day 1]

I do have to agree the bad guys are probably the ones being more quiet. There are technically 10 bad guys if you count the Indies, which look rather bad to me considering they are villains from the series lol. So, hopefully whoever is chosen, there will be a high chance we get 1 of the 10 lynched.

Linki Avalanche
I like I said, don't feel sold on even voting for you at all today, just felt a ping from your behavior. But, if you want to keep an eye on me then that's fine.

Re: X-Men [Day 1]

Holy crackers lol. I'm just now catching up because of work this weekend. I don't feel like I have a particular person that has stood out to me being odd besides Avalanche's continuous rant of Morlock's tunnel needing votes, but I don't think it's evidence to say he's bad but it pings me a tad.
As for Scarlet Witch and the pronoun fiasco: I see both sides of the argument where it would be an easy slip up having BTSC if true, but it also could have just been a common error when typing.

So I'm unclear who I should vote for today, but would love the discussion to maybe bring us more insight. Lucky for me, I don't work today so I can actually keep up with the forum lol

Re: X-Men [Day 1]

My thoughts are maybe Polaris has been given knowledge, or his\her real identity discovered. But, i dont see any roles unless it's secret that would support this theory atm.

Re: X-Men [Day 0]

I think trying to do the school will help find other X-Men and/or give some of the X-Men a boost. I also re-read the roles and saw Xavier is looking for them to gain BTSC, so there or Muir Island that has a giant cerebro machine would probably be best for our first adventure team. Just a thought.

Re: X-Men [Day 0]

This game will be so epic!

So where should be begin our training? My first thought looking over the places and remembering watching the show, most of the options was where they encountered a major villain arch, so I kind of want to start at Xavier School for Learning to maybe help find other X-men team mates?
