Clean as Eros' new diaper. Seriously, mate, you were on our recruiting list, but we thought you were Hinzy for while, so sadly, it didn't it happen. On the other hand, I would freeze whenever I saw your replies and think: Oh gosh! He knows who I am and he knows that I'm pulling a Thomas! Butt didn't happen. Huzzah! Also, it would have been fun to be on a team with Mata and Snowy for the first time. Next time, I suppose. :wine:

Re: AMERICAN GODS~Day 9

First thing's first - I'd like to apologize for not being around but I was in fact trying to dodge Helios' inquiries. ;) About Ares, I excluded him because he had become more active, at least when it came to voting, earlier than you, and I found myself in two instances where he had voted seconds before I did even though there was no sign of him being there, and I also took into consideration his vote for Herc.

Now to be polite and address Aphro as well: I don't know if anyone noticed, but on day 8 I was cursed. This however, was the work of a civ. And since Helios and I had become very fond of each other recently, my gut feeling told me it might have been him, so I tried to hint at him that I had acknowledged that, but because of the nature of the curse I had to continue the way I did. Looking back, Helios either can't take hints - seriously, it was like "why are you kicking my foot under the table?" or I'm not very good at this whole hinting business, or he had nothing to do with it in the first place. I don't know what to think of it. I hope I've been clear when I made my case against him last time. His defense was oh i've been busy, oh I don't like case building, oh I only vote for things that don't require thinking. Then why are you still playing? 'I suspect you because you dare suspect me.' Yeah, thanks. How am I supposed to interpret all this? Can you at least see why I would think you are bad?

If bad, Ceres either threw a teammate to gain credibility (unlikely at that point) or is on the other team. The only thing that strikes me odd is the Day 3 discussion. Anyway, Artemis and Fortuna were both civilians, which makes Day 3 a tough Day to read.

Mom says to always spit those watermelon seeds because you really don't want a giant watermelon growing inside you.
I hope I am not too rude, but I would like to bring to your attention the case of another couple of very naughty boys. First there's Mars. He defends that boy with no manners, Hercules, I don't know why, maybe because they are playground buddies and they are so similar, not to mention the fact that he constantly goes to war without putting on his armor. I'm shocked. Then there's Pluto. He's tied with Phoenix, is the only one who suspects Eros, and what is the lynch result? Exactly! Having Phoenix lynched would have been too obvious because of his voting record. And let's not forget his cry of joy that he was not on the poll. So fake! And wishing better luck to that other bully. Aw my boy! What am I going to do with you? You have a total of 11 posts, hardly any of those are on topic, none of your votes are justified, you haven't made a single case on anyone which makes me think you have people keeping you posted, your voting record is weird in the sense that you only have 2 lynch votes , so of course you can't be held accountable for that, the rest, when you decide to show up and vote are night votes. Re: AMERICAN GODS~Day 7

Some observations:

1. I think Medusa was civ. Chronos - not so sure, but more on the civ side.
2. I agree with Eros that Mars can't be ignored, and besides his defense of Herc, the two have had very similar playing styles.
3. I still don't think Phoenix is the serial killer. How crazy must you be to kill when all eyes are on you?
4. There's still that gut feeling about Apollo.
5. Pluto - I have no idea, the only thing that caught my attention so far was his post about him not being on the poll.
6. Low posters.:
a. Ares - sometimes pops in towards the end of the polls, has nothing to comment on, his last post was 4 days ago.
b. Electra and Helios - I see them both as Hinzelmann candidates. Again both show up from time to time, throw in a vote and before you know it we've got another kill. Electra has been a bit more active recently. Helios has been a bit defiant and he's also the lowest poster in the game, so I'm considering a vote for him today.

He is not lying. He has good reason to defend me.

I have answered anything brought up about me. And I'll say again, there really isn't a case against me as far as I've seen in the thread. There is evidence I'm not Hinzelman. That is true--I'm also not any other baddie. I survived a night kill--yes I did and yes I know how, and no I won't tell you. I've suspected and voted for other civvies--that is true. I was wrong about people (assuming their roles as revealed are accurate). I'm loud and stubborn about my suspicions--yes, yes I am.

Am I missing anything? Because all of that just describes the way I play the game.
I'm starting to believe you, which makes me even more confused. I won't let my guard down though.

1. Why is no one looking at Poseidon?
2. Thanks for the reply Zeus. "I cannot." More confusion.
3. I don't like the no you exchange between Zeus and Apollo.
4. The Phoenix theory seems plausible, but in this game so does everything else.

Re: AMERICAN GODS~Day 5

Here are some thoughts:

1. I'm inclined to believe that what WJ is saying is true. Why? Because there are quite a few people here who have btsc and who obviously know more than the rest, while others have nothing to work with except this truckload of confusing posts and frankly, this is very frustrating. I could say unfair, but I guess that's part of the game. So with WJ this is an attempt to balance things a bit.
2. I was going to cut Athena some slack after Fortuna flipped civ but then there was this:
The civvie protector has protected noone

3. Same goes for Poseidon. I had a gut feeling about him, but nothing to work with because he is mostly absent. And there is also this:
Mr Town: Thinks ALL gods are just freaks with telepathy, he can protect himself or one member of his team each night from all blockable powers
4.
Pluto wrote:I don't seem to be on the poll today. So thank you Mr. Ibis for that!
Prometheus was definitely who he appeared to be
You know what my first thought was? You so knew you that you were not going to be on the poll AND why. I can't prove that unfortunately.
5.
There is at least one dead baddie

if this is true and the Communication role is what Medusa was implying, then either Persephone or Atlas are baddies. Or both. If not, any of the ones already dead could be bad.

Re: AMERICAN GODS~Day Four: INDIANA

In an attempt to give Athena a chance to defend herself, here are my thoughts:

1. The Artemis episode was extremely confusing. I went back and forth on who was the non-civ in that equation because to me this was too elaborate to be a civ on civ dispute, and at one point I really thought there were two baddies involved. Artemis made a 'slip', which could have been completely plausible at the time, but that is not what made me suspect her, it was her very calm and calculated reply to Persephone's post. Athena on the other hand, has the "I know I'm a civ", "I'm just a civ' rhetoric which to me always sounds like baddies trying to convince themselves that they are civs.
2. Survived a night kill.
3. She has explained why she used the term 'curse' when people were talking about insanification in Arte's case, but I still get the feeling that she knew something the rest of us didn't.

This is the best I have so far, although I have to admit that Fortuna is in a similar situation:
1. 'I know I'm a civ which means that my defense attorney is also a civ.'
2. Managed to survive on day 3.

Re: AMERICAN GODS~Day Four: INDIANA

Fuck! I'm sorry! I did however manage to read that properly after your last post. I'll make the case soon and then crawl back under my rock.

Re: AMERICAN GODS~Day Four: INDIANA

Before I reiterate the case on Athena, I thought I'd give the big guy a chance to do it first.

Why would it be a good move to vote for Athena?
Nice. But I see you voted Artemis instead. Which I am glad for as I see no case against Athena.
But you do see it now. Why?

Fortuna, I don't like the 'me, a civvie => my defender automatically a civvie' posts at all.

Ares, that was my intention as well, although I was surprised to see you finally make an appearance after such a long time. You only voted in the first poll.

Re: AMERICAN GODS~Day Four: INDIANA

MY BABY! :overreact: Curse you Hades! :rip: Persephone! I'll find the culprits and make them pay!

So what's the deal with Aphrodite? I know who I'm looking at today. Unless something interesting shows up, I'll be voting for Athena.
