Who ended night early on the night that the prizes were going out for whatever contest that was that only Knuk and Bea that entered (picture or poem or something)? Had that gone longer, we would have gotten rez to win and rezzed MR, a confirmed civ, who would have been on our team because KNuk had found him (after he was dead, lol). But then I didn't think of that or vote until it was too late. Interesting how the game would have played out if that happened.
I did. And it's so ironic that I would have died that night had I not ended it. I had a night stop and a lynch stop. I never had to use the lynch stop though it came close a couple of times. If I hadn't had to worry about myself I would have used it later in the game to stop one of the civ lynches.

As for you Long Con, yes I'm aware that i'm the one who decided you must be indy because you were acting just like you did in king authur. Thanks for bringing that up.

I really hope you enjoyed your experience and consider hosting again. :D

Hmm. But two teams and two serial killers too? That kind of seems like a lot. Maybe I'm just trying to be optimisic and hope there's only one team so this will be easier for us.

Are you saying you know he is good because he is sure that you are good or is there something else that's given you a reason to believe he's good?

No, I know he is good because he knows I am good and I don't think he'd use that as a baddie ploy to get me on his side. Also, when Boogs is good he approaches everything with a great deal of excitement and sometimes that excitement gets the best of him, making him sound like he's confused or doesn't know what he's talking about. I have see that behavior out of him this game and it further convinces me he is good.
juliets wrote:As I think about it though, even though each of our pieces of evidence are unverifiable by anyone else we don't have similar info on any of the other players. This brings me to decide to trust that Boogs is good.
What do you mean by this? As in, how do you know this?

I'm making an assumption that if either of us had any additional information about anyone left alive or anything which would have a bearing on who to vote for we would have voiced it.

I'm certainly not pressuring you to vote my way because my way is so unclear, but I am interested in what direction you feel you are going in.
That does bother me a little bit too, but I think I may possibly vote for LC today, because I trusted him quite a bit around the time Bea was lynched. Though, of course, I could be wrong, and since we don't know how many baddies are left, this could be our last chance so I want to make sure to get it right.
I don't have a lot of memories of playing with LC but it seems like if he were civ he would be (have been) more forcible with his denials.

Canuck I'm so sorry that you are having troubles and really appreciate your finishing this game out with us. I hope things get better if not quickly then at least progressively. The only question I have for you - and no worries if you cannot answer it - is who you think is bad at this point. We are down to the wire and it is very hard to see clearly. I have been in plenty of games where baddies have targeted themselves, many times they will silence themselves or someone on their team or insanify themsleves or someone on their team, or protect themselves, etc. I've even seen a baddie with a protect target themselves for a kill for reasons I can't remember. So yes, it does happen. Some roles or hosts may not allow for it though.

Well, she can't post on topic if she's dead (a big mafia no-no) so that makes me a little leery of her post meaning anything suspicious. Dana, one thing I wanted to let you know about Lorab is she always uses the twirly emoticon and says "I have nothing to hide" or "eye me all you want" or both. She does it regardless of whether she's bad or civ as far as I've noticed. Just wanted you to know because those of us that play with her all the time know (someone correct me if you feel I'm wrong).

I think you're pulling together the bea-lorab connection is very interesting. I know I had similar thoughts as bea about a case but it sounds more sinister knowing that bea who was bad asked for one. It may have just been a way of protecting them. I will re-read and think about your points as I do so Dana.

They don't want me coming after them, they want me to trust and agree with them.

This conclusion would not have happened any time earlier in the game, it's just because we are getting so low on players and shit is completely dire at this point. It's them. And Hedge. That's what I think, AND that's what my gut tells me as well. Those two don't always agree, my head and gut.

Possibly a really stupid strategy, but the way things have been going, maybe we need to flip things upside-down to try and find a baddie. I do not encourage anyone to vote with me, I don't even think Bea is bad! But I really don't see anyone as extremely suspicious right now. Bullz is maybe half suspicious to me right now, but he's quieted down a bit so I'm not too sure. I would consider a vote for LoRab if there's some evidence, and maybe even LC for trying to sway the votes a bit, but I don't feel too strongly about either of them. I'll hold off voting for another hour or two, but I have a meeting during the lynch so I probably won't be able to change last second if more information comes to light.

What do the rest of you think? Is it a really bad tactic to vote for who you trust the most?
Dana, I've never known anyone in mafia whose told me they are doing this so it makes it hard to respond. I know what you mean because I feel it too, I keep evaluating people wrong and voting for civs so it makes me think some of the people I think are good are really bad. But I wouldn't vote for anyone I didn't mind seeing lynched unless I'm sending a "message" vote" ("I've got my eye on you") to someone. I don't want to tell you what to do but that's the way I think about it.

Re: Day 10 Monty Python and the Holy Grail

I snipped quite a bit off this post because it was only the end that is relevant:

I can look at a case against lorab or canuck or anyone else, but I need a case you know? not just "they kissed up to me."

I'm pretty sure I'm the last lone civ at this point. I think all you lot could be bad.
First, I agree 100% with you bea - i need a case on lorab or canuck to even consider them because I haven't seen anything they said as suspicious and I'm not getting a baddie vibe. They still have ?'s by their names because I can't say that they are surely good either. I am open to looking at them but I need something to look at.

And no bea, you are not the only civ left! (If you're a civ - I have a question about everyone in here but me.)

Re: Day 10 Monty Python and the Holy Grail

LC, does this mean you think Boogs is civ?

Re: Day 10 Monty Python and the Holy Grail

I don't understand the civ teams thought either. I'm civ and if I'm on a civ team nobody told me about it. Boogs, are you on a civ team?
