It's that time of year when Mafia Communities from across the internet meet to play in the Mafia Champs Tournament!

As you know @Marmot will be repping us with @Alison as back-up but there's a good chance they will both get to play!

In addition a lot of other members of our site will be playing repping other sites (I'll post a list here later).

The first game starts Monday, April 25th!

Voting is easy. Send me your vote for our rep and backup in order, rep first backup second. You can number them if you like to make sure there is no confusion. If you don't number, I will assume the first name is your vote for rep, the second name your vote for backup. This format is ideal:

1. [name of your choice for rep]
2. [name of your choice for backup]

You may send me your vote either here through PM or on discord at juliets#5354 if that's easier. If you send me two votes I will assume the second vote by time is your official vote. I will confirm with you if this happens.

Please vote! The individuals voted will represent our whole site in Season 9 of the Mafia championships. The link to read about the championship is in the OP, nutella's post. In the past we've had several representatives make it to the final game which is quite an accomplishment, and year before last Sloonei won the whole thing. All of our reps have represented us well!

Please let me know if you have any questions at all about the process. Voting will be open for a week, so will end at 12:00 midnight edt on April 1.

I think we can move to the voting phase starting Friday March 25th unless anyone has an objection. I'll wait until start of day on the 25th to list all the nominations and procedure for voting.

I'm going to be checking in one on one with ALL nominees except for falcon because he is repping another community before SOD on March 25th.

Alright everyone, I'll create an account like we had for the Sockys where people can send their votes. I'll post the names of everyone who has been nominated by that time and instructions. Should be pretty easy.

Since the deadline for submitting our names is April 24th, does anyone see any reason we need to open voting earlier than March 27, give two weeks to vote and close the voting on April 10th (please see EDIT below)? I'm going to ping the nominees so far because I'm especially interested in how they feel about these dates. Somebody let me know if I missed anyone:

EDIT: hmmm after reading the MU Champs thread maybe we should move those dates above earlier like start voting March 20 through April 3? Other suggestions are welcome on this. There are "practice" games starting which is lmao because the setup is Mountainous this year but still our reps may want to play with reps from other sites (though thats not required to play a practice game).
