i sent the kill pm without telling the team my choice and sloonei panicked near the end of day and sent a different kill in on Colin to make sure we didn't miss the night. it was my fault.

though i wasn't killing you cus of the cop thing, I completely forgot about that, you were just a really unlikely mislynch and sig seemed like he was more likely to be protected cus of his jack of all trades fakeclaim that included a protection.

i knew i was fucked but i had to do my best to win anyways. i did my best, i have no regrets.

You did an absolutely great job Kyle. Your Long Con stuff earlier in the game had me convinced until I did those two checks on C-bob and Turnip Head. And as I said, you still had me second guessing myself at the end.

Oh and by the way, the way I signaled sig and dunya was I checked someone then posted about that person in the morning saying I thought they were bad or good and included an emoji in the post. So when they saw the emoji they knew my "opinion" was the result of a check. This was something we worked out in the chatzy.

OH MY GOD!! Kyle almost had me convinced it wasn't him. I'm so glad I stuck to my guns. Kudos dunya and sig, you guys kept me alive to check more people, you both played great! Now I want to know who the others in the chatzy of lost souls were - who was Spooky Ghost? Who was Orange? Who was TDL McFresh? Great game Mac I thoroughly enjoyed it, even the chatzy.

Because sig and dunya covered well for me. They drew the suspicion onto them. sig claimed he was JOAT and he had checked LC before he got taken to the chatzy of lost souls and that made sense because the lynching was driven by dunya who was in there with sig.

I thought LC singled you out though. Do you think he was bluffing or what?

He did single me out but after that sig and dunya implied they were responsible for the check which was believable because of where the nail came from.

Think about my signaling and ask whether it makes sense if I'm mafia. Why did I signal sig and dunya that LC was bad? Why didn't I just signal them that he was civ? Without dunya's nail in the coffin he wouldn't have been lynched. Why would I take your name out of play and signal sig that he should take it out of play too if I'm mafia? I'd want as many people as possible in the pot to be considered possibly bad.

it's not really that clear. the only direct indication of what you've said about recruitment being true is a citation of a private chat we don't have access to.

And on another point entirely, why would I continue to check civs if I knew the were civs and signal sig that they were civ if I'm mafia? That's how sig knew TH was civ - I signaled him.

I think I understand it fine? the random event where recruitments happen doesn't specify that it can only happen at night, only that it happens when an escape happens. it doesn't specify that it can only happen during night escapes. it doesn't imply anywhere that day and night escapes would be treated differently.

Yes it does specify that! Look at the next paragraph:

If that player escapes there is a random event. In the event the player is a civilian there is a ⅓ chance they will die upon escape, a ⅓ chance they will fall in love with the Abyss and have their win con switched to the same win con as The Endless Void and a ⅓ chance they will escape freely.

"That player" refers to the player in the first paragraph - the player that escapes AT NIGHT. It's as clear as day. You are so bad.

In case you have forgotten what I posted or do not want to look back, each NIGHT we were each advised whether the "door" was open for us. It could be open for one of us but not the others. If we escaped through the door one of three things could happen - recruited, die, escape with no change. This was not the same as a DDL rescue which happened during the DAY.
