EBWOP: Just noticed I said "in the best interesting" instead of "in the best interest" in my last big post. Fail
@Russti: I do agree with you, too. But I didn't get that line of thought from the "rules" you mentioned. I was trying to put myself in the shoes of an SK that had just been attacked by both mafia teams. After that sort of situation I would most certainly be biased towards wanting the civs to win. In order for that to happen and to allow myself to live longer, I would want to target the baddie teams first and foremost.
But again, that was just my opinion

Re: [NIGHT 3] The Red Room
Just for the record, I've been taking this game seriously, too. And I'm the one who tried to get mod-killed in the other game. I can see why you're getting frustrated, though, Kate. We seem to be agreeing more with the "SK" than with you (a self-proclaimed civ). Keep in mind what has been said so far: Both Mafia teams have attempted to kill DH. It doesn't seem likely with so many kill survivals available on certain roles, that a Mafia team would risk using a NK on one of their own in order to make him look good. So, assuming the SK can win with the last remaining team, it would be in the civs' best interest to keep the SK alive for the time being. Even if he has an LMS win condition, it's now in the best interesting of the SK to dispose of the Mafia teams first.
That's my opinion anyway.
I haven't been saying much else because I know MP is stuck and we won't have anything more to go on until he gets his post up. And I personally don't feel like wasting time by talking in circles.

EBWOP: I see that it would be plausible for SD to be able to team up with MP. But keep in mind that that role is dead (BDH was lynched).
That being said, it would be very possible for Devin, Lizzy, and even the MP role to have a redirect ability.

I believe you, Dom I was trying to get a reaction out of DH. I still don't believe him completely. I have a new suspicion regarding his role, though I don't know what that would imply for the rest of us.Dom wrote:DH definitely figured my role out last night...Devin the Omniscient wrote:Well, there's one person down
I do agree with DH, though, that it would be wise to get votes on someone else for the "Death comes in 3s."
I don't feel that Dom should go (yet anyways). I feel ok about him now. But just ok. I'd be willing to hear out a decent case on him if anyone has one.
BTW, Dom. What did you mean when you said that DH knows who you are?
Does anyone else have any suggestions/suspicions that I could possibly vote for? I may vote for Gleam if there are none. This, because of his sudden and quick reaction to being called out by Epi.

Well Hell's Bells! I expected DH to survive, but the rest was a bit surprising. Especially Epi!
My guess would be that 1 of the people with a single vote on them had a redirect. Note that Aces and DH were specifically mentioned in the post. The 3rd should have been someone with a vote on them.

Re: [DAY 3] The Red Room
juliets, to answer your most recent question, I was responding to this when I pointed out the civs who will not die on the first lynch attempt against them. Perhaps I misunderstood the meaning in the underlined statement. Were you meaning that if we vote for you, the chances of a civ being lynched are 100%?juliets wrote:And I'm warning everyone that I will be lynched if voted and the chances of a civv being lynched are 100%. I don't want Dom to die either though so maybe there is another way out of this.DharmaHelper wrote:I'm just warning you all ahead of time that if Dom remains in contention for the lynch the chances of a civ being lynched are significant. In any case, I didn't end up voting for you or gleam because I respect the fact that you are at least willing to come in and defend yourselves. That's not to say that this alone will protect you continuously in the future.

Re: [DAY 3] The Red Room
Just got back from a lovely date with my wife
I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of discussion. There's plenty to discuss here. I have a feeling I know who DH is. I'm still not clear on how he knows who Dom is but it could be in the (secrets). I don't feel comfortable voting for anyone who has a "case" against them right now. In an attempt to increase Dom's chances, though, I will put my vote to the one person who clearly doesn't have the desire/ability be here and be helpful. Nothing personal intended Aces, I'm sure you're super busy, too.

Wow. Interesting stuff up in this bizzitch! Luuuv the reference, DH!
ANYWHO!! Kate, why do you think an SK with his head firmly tied to a chopping block would continue to lie (whether or not he dies remains to be seen)? DH is making some cents to me, as well.
Timmer, why did you feel it was best to follow DH's train of thought and vote for juliets?
Who else hasn't voted yet and where are they?
Linkish: How do you know who he is?
So many questions....

Speaking of which, where is the Night post? Or did I miss something?

I am starting to think that this is turning into a real Mafia game (not that it wasn't one already...). A Red Room Mafia. I can't see MP (as crazy as he is) making the other game completely pointless. So, I believe their will be 2 victors.blindfaeth wrote:RIP BDH~
So I wonder how this game is ultimately linked to the other one. Can you win one but not the other? Were our roles in the first game ultimately pointless, and the winners of this game are the victors? Curious BF is curious.
This one will be much faster, though, seeing as there will be 3 lynch attempts everyday and presumably 3 NK attempts. But we will find out if that is true soon, I guess.
