The deadline isn't in five seconds. I didn't ask you if Dom is a good five-second candidate. I asked you if he's a good lynch. Your response was nothing more than a way to put your vote on him at the end if that's how things worked out.
Before this, you just talk. You just...take a dump on the thread with stuff about "meta-reads:"
This is all discussing Mafia, but not this Mafia.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2017 11:50 pmMeta reads have their place, but they are usually not ideal as a sole means of drawing reads. At the time I answered that prompt, I think sig had like five or six posts. For me, that's not often enough to develop an intuition. I'm willing to draw a read from the tabletop crumbs when I must, and often that's a time for a meta read to have some value. When there's more content available, as there was with speedchuck in that moment, then a purely meta read means less to me. Re: Mountain Mafia [DAY 3]
Here's a fun fact from JJJ's chart. Or a few fun facts, really.
JJJ replaced MP, who did nothing.
Dunya replaced sprityo, who was suspected, but really did nothing.
Seven of eight people called JJJ good.
Two of eight people called Dunya good.
I am far more inclined to believe that Dunya is good over 3J based on content alone.

Re: Mountain Mafia [DAY 3]
If any member of the mafia can submit the kill for the team, then I don't care about keeping inactives around when they aren't contributing. On one level, this is still Day 1 due to an inordinate number of survivals.
It is almost certain Dom will not survive a lynch, and therefore, it is less likely that Dom is a civilian.

I'm not interested in what Kylemii did in this game or that or what he usually does here or there. What is he doing here, independently of those other places, that makes you think good or ill of him? That question goes for anyone with an opinion.Kylemii wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2017 10:38 pmWell.... The thing is, I don't really know what I'm like yet.
I'm still in the process of rebuilding and understanding my own meta.
I could tell you how I used to play before I left RM two years ago, I could tell you about how I'd focus so much on mafia that I'd get really burnt out on it and disappear for days at a time and miss votes and sometimes forget to send in night actions. I could tell you how I played before the exodus that happened before that one when I had seemingly boundless energy and consistently made 2x as many posts as anyone else in many of the threads.
None of those are me anymore. Playing the way I used to made me tired and anxious all the time, so I'm making a conscious effort this time around to adjust my meta to be less toxic.

Re: Mountain Mafia [DAY 3]
In fact, I think a Jack lynch is a trap anyway. He was tied with Sloonei. So what? Why is the apparent fact of a tie noteworthy? In a tie, somebody was going to get lynched regardless. There was no lynch. If vote manipulations were his only method of survival, Jack only needed to vote Sloonei and nothing would have been said on the matter had Sloonei been lynched. There was literally no risk in that avenue. Any other avenue bought him undue risk.

I don't think she's following through on her cases in the way a civilian would. She'll say that something is suspicious and that'll be the end of it, like she's rejecting any attempt to change her mind. She's done that with me and LC in this game.
I don't believe in her rainbow list because I don't see how Lasagne could be one of anybody's top town reads. She mentioned genuinity in her posts, with Lasagne only having one, maybe two posts of workable content. The rest is, as I said before, mainly "I'm here!" posts.

Not enough to be confident of survival
2. Sloonei and Jack take up both the roles of Aconcagua and Pico Cristóbal. This depends on whether Aconcagua'a survival of attempts on life refer to nightkilled only or lynches too so.... @Marmot hit us up with that sweet sweet beautiful knowledge
3. one of Sloonei or Jack Chimborazoaed Aconcagua, Pico Cristóbal cannot be Chimborazoaed cus Picó Cristobal is too short. this seems unlikely as it would take some wild early-game guesswork.

Re: Mountain Mafia [DAY 2]
Two failed kills.
If #7 is the correct answer, and the kill is transferred to someone else on the team upon Wrekin's death, then we could keep the inactives alive to relieve the mafia of their kill until they are replaced and a kill comes in.
If two kills were indeed attempted, two different instances of possibilities one through six must have transpired.Epignosis wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2017 10:27 am Nobody wants to discuss why it's Day 2 and everybody is still alive? Okay.
Possibility #1: Aconcagua was targeted with the kill.
Possibility #2: Chimborazo was targeted with the kill and borrowed Aconcagua ability that same night.
Possibility #3: Kilimanjaro was targeted with the kill and activated its ability that same night (which I hope isn't the case).
Possibility #4: Mont Blanc did the Tube Snake Boogie and one of the above also happened.
Possibility #5: Matterhorn ???
Possibility #6: Olympus Mons ???
Possibility #7: Wrekin, England is the only member of the team able to submit a kill, and he was asleep at the hill.
If #7 is the correct answer, and the kill is transferred to someone else on the team upon Wrekin's death, then we could keep the inactives alive to relieve the mafia of their kill until they are replaced and a kill comes in.

What do you think of Bob and Dunya?
If you haven't already read Speed, what do you think of him?
I do not find Dunya's contributions to be manufactured. There was one thing she said that I felt otherwise about, but someone else asked about it and she clarified and all was right again.
I do not believe speedchuck is bad.

Re: Mountain Mafia [DAY 3]
I don't understand the proliferation of rolled eyes. Your comment is nothing more than a universal notion that JJJ must always be Night killed or lynched late in the game, which is a clever reason to keep him alive when you are bad.speedchuck wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2017 2:24 pmEpignosis wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2017 2:05 pmThis is gross. JJJ is never scum.
No, but really, I don't know what he'd be like as scum. If he's leading, and leading well, mafia will probably kill him and take care of things for us. If they start killing other leaders and JJJ takes control of the game, wipe him.
What is your read on JJJ?
I hold mild suspicion of him, as I always do.

I didn't really- other than harboring a suspicion that was rooted in my view that only someone evil could propose the nonsense he proposed about me.

I think that was it.
I don't think I've ever been lynched on Day 1. I've seen it happen or almost to Doc and Sprityo several times and I've only been here a year.
I think your conclusion that Day 1 lynches are a crapshoot and anyone can be lynched on Day 1 is incorrect. I stand by my statement that you would be a difficult mislynch target and that this causes your LC accusation to not feel genuine.
I did not develop the conclusion that Days 1 are crapshoots.Epignosis wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2017 1:26 pmYou have a terrible habit of assuming your interpretation of a sentence or phrase is gospel.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2017 11:34 pm
I told you I wasn't going to explain things to you that you already know.
Anyone is an easy lynch Day 1. That's because many people take the mindset that Day 1 is a crapshoot, and that the real utility of Day 1 is the acquisition of information. Any lynch will provide that.
You are taking my "easy lynch" comment to mean that I am referring to Epignosis being a an easy lynch, which is your mistake. If Day 1 is a guessing game, then lazily piling up votes on me is an easy thing to do. Saying I meant that I am an easy lynch in general is your mistake. When people pile up votes on anyone for stupid reasons (or no reason at all), it makes for a quick and easy lynch. Anybody could be that.

I want to address mesk's play. Who was it that said they had played with her as civ before and she was really fierce? She seems so genuine to me, but that info doesn't allign with her behavior. I think she needs to be up for discussion today.
Linki...by the way... I can never address linki because on my phone, the left side of linki gets cut off for some reason. Just thought I'd share.
Yes, as town, a wrongly accused town, she gets very vocal and aggressively defensive. She hasn't been on the frying pan though, indeed, she hasn't even been on the forum for 6 days so....we can't say she's scum because she's not here.
Dunya replaced in awesomely with great effort. What if she is too good to be true? What if there have been no night kills because of a quiet mafia and two of them are mesk and now dunya? Just really spitting this out real quick before I go watch tv with the family. I'm not fully caught up so tell me if I'm insane.
