Bart Simpson
Grampa Simpson
Krusty the Clown
Lisa Simpson
Mr. Burns
some of this is flexible. Otto flashes downward whenever he goes after me or anyone else over things that aren't actually related to the game. It's so frequent and consistent and no one else seems bothered by it, so I have to assume that's just a personality trait.

You and Mr. Burns are basically in the bottom part because I haven't seen any particular reason to read you as town yet.
If you put me and Burns in the same tier that means the bottom is not ordered?
I assume the top isnt either because Frumplr has a stronger town read on Allison than he does himself.
Weird eh?!

In your most recent colour coded list I'd like to point out two things which I always find scummy -

1) You included yourself, in green, on the list. I hate it when players include themselves in their own town reads.
that sounds like a "you" problem. I copy pasted the list from the front page.
2) That it's colour coded. I hate colour coded lists, just ask Kza.
this is also a you problem. Color coded lists are standard, or at least they have been in the past.
Further to point two, I gave you a hard time for not being succinct and you replied with "sorry I dont curate my posts", but then you take the time to curate a fucking colour coded list.
Puked in my mouth.

[VOTE: Grumple] aubergine
It takes 5 seconds to choose color tags you dork. I put the colors because I wanted to, and again because they're the universally understood standard for read lists.

If you want all your posts to be plain text, size 14 calibri font double spaced, with 1 sentence paragraphs and MLA formatting that is your prerogative, have fun with it.

if you say anything else on thie topic I promise to respond to you in bright yellow text forever
(or until I get bored of it)
What? So a guy who won't curate his posts worries about his font size looking boring like a stuffy MLA? I don't get it.

Bright yellow me baby. Just pee everywhere, Grumple, at least Grampa wears a diaper.

I understand why you voted for CBG, i was more asking why you would break the tie instead of letting it actually play out. Even if you suspected CBG more than Lisa, if one of them is bad then keeping the vote close at end of day forces mafia teammates to choose to protect or sacrifice, which can lead to awkward reasonings and shady justifications which stick out and sweater thread. I thought that was what you were going for with the tie wagon thing, but creating a two vote gap prevented that.

I've only played with 112 once - she was scum and she was mostly quiet and got exed pretty much on consensus D1 for doing nothing. But anti-spewed well enough to let her teammates win the game after. That hasn't matched up super well with what Grumple's been doing this game. What makes you scumread Grumple if Grumple is 112?

I'm surprised this is a question, Grumple. Thought I was pretty clear as the thread unfolded but ill walk you through it.
I'd been heavily scum leaning CBG, questioning him all day and had a vote on him before getting home from work.
When I lpreturned to the game CBG had like 4 or 5 votes and my other scum lean Lisa had 2 or 3.
Being a gentleman who loves wagon races I switched to Lisa to see what kind of movement that might create.. but then I started catching grief from my family for ignoring them and had to fulfill my rl obligations and switched back to CBG before fam time because he was my strongest scum read.
The Grumple wrote: Thu Oct 29, 2020 6:44 pm @Otto Mann or also why you voted Lisa in the first place? thank you
To me she looks like a playerwho is trying to appear to be towny by giving town clears and asking a few questions here and there, but then she disappears for long stretches and IMO hasn't made any attempt to really drive home a point or a read and is happy sitting back, coasting on plays which are blendy and look towny, but are just blendy in the end.
That's my take on Lisa. That and gut. Theres just something not right there, similar to how I feel about you. Theres this emptiness, or a subtle sense of sadness in your tone. A lot of people hate wolfing, myself included, and I really struggle to have fun as wolf, and that comes across in my tone. Kinda what I'm getting at there.
At the current game state I think townies are entitled to be a little sad. More than a little even. Hating wolfing is a thing, but hating getting to day three with nothing but misses and so really great wolfreads isn't popular either. I've kinda burned my irritability out and I'm down to a little sad myself.
Fair enough. I'm pretty disappointed myself. My reads have been trash, but I have full on potato games so there's that, and it keeps me from getting too down because shit happens and all but 2 of you guys are new to me.

So if I remove the tinfoil paranoid world of Burns and Jass as w/w or w/v and just treat them as town, because they do both read as town to me, my leans go as follows -

Town-
Allison
Burns
Jass
Krusty
Skinner sub

Probably town
Bart

Unless I am being severely outplayed I don't think, Hugh and Burns are ever W/W here given their interactions. For them to be W/W, both of them would have to have fooled me individually, and then decided to engage in a completely unecessary bus complete with 500 page novellas scrutinizing the other's ISO. I don't think that's likely at all.
Thanks for that. Given the game state I need to heavily question my town reads.
That said, the play style here is different than I'm used to and given the reoccurring theme that syndicate wolves take the game very seriously has me questioning those leading the narrative.

Now I still see a world where they're w/w. On my home site it's perfectly normal for wolves to spend considerable time tunneling eachother, bussing to create distance, appear to be scum hunting then reap the town cred when the other is lynched/vigged.
That style may not be common here, but it's pretty necessary for us because we're a small community, tops out at 20 players, so every single game is played with the same players. It's kinda like playoff hockey.

Re: The Simpsons [DAY 3]

Getting the feeling there's at least one wolf amongst our most influential posters - Allison, Jass and Burns.
My strongest town read is still Allison though and I'm not struggling to figure why she's been left alive, and it's the same reason I'm still here, scum reads have been bad.

I'm looking at Jass and Burns as a w/v or w/w but can't pick anything from their ISO that really screams wolf with exception of Jass's death by paperwork factor and my early to and fro with Burns which was only buried by the v/v read from Allison.

Outside of a strong town lean on Allison I don't have shit for townies with the exception of Skinner's sub and my town read of Krusty is waning with his need to continue on about Skinner, which also leaves me putting the wonder twins at the bottom of the pile as well.

Lisa.. there's still something there. I'll ISO on my lunch break and see if there's anything I notice other than I feel like she's just coasting.

He's still town to me for now, but goddammit Otto, if you're scum? Imma burn your house down.

Why do you keep talking about Skinner? Skinner asked for sub.
And "TBH", bruh. Feels bad man
Odd response. I didn't even mention Skinner in the quoted post.
But in the post directly above it you did. And Skinner had already requested a sub. So yeah

From what I know of Krusty he was venting frustration when wanting to chop Skinner because Skinner is essentially useless and a waste of a special, in Krusty's eyes I mean, I totally didn'tsay that. At least that's how I read what Krusty posted.
He's a passionate dude and I can sympathize with his frustrations.
I'm really disappointed Skinner hasn't used his special as a soapbox and united town.

Seems like the perfect subject for scum to latch onto. Easy entry, something to look busy talking about AND can serve them well if they poison the thread well enough.
