There is a concept in mafia known as "resolving the counterwagon". The idea is that by flipping the top two wagons D1, if one is town and the other is mafia, we can out the whole mafia team by analyzing who was on which wagon. The weakness of this strategy is if both players flip town, which gives us two fruitless days and nothing to show for it. In this case, however, if I flip town I am guaranteed to out multiple mafia with me so it's a good trade.

But your play is very much reminding me of the other games I've played with you, where you were civ. There was no one specific point that was like... Oh yeah Seanzie's good. It just grew on me.

Why is this scummy? You've seen me do it as scum, sure. But you've never seen a town game of mine (so you wouldn't know if I also do it as town), and the act itself is inherently townie. What makes you so confident that this behavior is emblematic of my scum approach but not my town approach, in the face of people like Mac and SPF who have a thousand games with me telling you otherwise?

I don't think the act itself is towny at all. I don't think town should be trying to create a toxic thread state to force emotional reactions to push narratives. I don't think that helps anyone.

Town should be approaching people in good faith in an attempt to understand them and push the game towards positive resolutions. 2 towns may come to 2 entirely different world views reading the same posts its far more beneficial that they try to understand each other's perspectives and read into weather the perspective difference is caused by a wolfy agenda or a town seeing things in a different way. But turning the thread state negative to illicit emotional reactions instead of understanding prevents town cohesion and benefits only scum therefore it is scummy.

Your right I've seen you do this as scum and not town and it may well be within your town range but if I see a similar recreation of a scenario I've seen scum you do before im going to read it as scummy.

This was pretty much exactly my thinking on my Alison vote. Like, I got stressed out reading just about all of Roxy, Alison and Neon's posts. This entire argument had very much brought down morale and it is REALLY getting to me, I'm sensitive. This isn't me saying 'don't pwessuwe plz im just a wittwe baybe...' but it was so aggressive and Alison failing to realize that and continually denying it just felt so, like, surreal? It just actually felt like a screaming match, as a spectator.

I think I explained this higher up in this post (or more Neon explained for me lol). The argument, no matter how much Alison denies it, was aggressive and hostile and a bunch of other synonyms for those words. Resulting in a yucky icky thread state where I'm scared to open thread and see a 7 book series, written and edited by Alison and Neon in which they have an epic battle going for each other's throats. I have seen the people telling me this is still Alison's town range and I am planning on moving my vote but I will not drop my suspicion.

Every mafia combination has the same chances as another so we can't just say "I rolled mafia last game so I'm civ this game". Also there's the chance the roles weren't randomized in one the games but meh. I've wrote way too much on this topic anyways.

Tell me about Sig because I don't remember a single post he has made.

Other notes: Alison v Roxy was a rollercoaster. I find it incredibly hard to believe that it is town v town. Roxy feels like frustrated civ to be 100% honest. I was there last game, under pressure and flipping out and saying/doing dumb thihings. Alison did not let up the pressure at all, just kept riling Roxy up and up. Which at a certain point I can't help but find suspicious. I saw something about 'that's just how Alison is' and I think that doesn't really explain well enough why she pushed someone to just giving up. On D1 as well. Maybe it's because I'm a baby who doesn't like hurting people's feelings and I feel super bad for Roxy but I could get behind a [VOTE: Alison] aubergine.

Also I think Alison/tutuu could be w/w. Now I am off to do my math homework.

I am wishy washy on Kate because I don't make reads off of two posts. I can't do that I need more content.

Lucy and Neon both remind me of their other civ games. When I played against mafia!Lucy she was kinda dragging the thread into things that weren't really important (like in LGM when she focused on me/kate/jack being in the same family for so long) and she isn't doing that here, nor did she do that in Felt. Neon I have less to say about, but I like how she said she's screwing around because we're all friends here and not just murdering each other.

I don't like voting early. Why do I have to vote 1/4th of the way through D1?

I'd have to see you as mafia first probably. But this feels the EXACT same and I would be madly impressed if you could fo this as mafia.

Falcon's way of playing reminds me of the other two games I've played with him, laid back and not super focused until something fun happens and he was town then. Like he's joking around and not 100% on topic.

I see the Kate wagon but I don't like voting early D1 and she hasn't talked enough for me to get a real feel for her
