Im almost positive that that trivia murder party role is a town gladiator that takes amtters into their own hand, which confirms one kill because they were responsible for foolsgold death.

plus we dont even know if those 3 deaths every night have to include new people, there might exist separate factional actions from the informed minority, like directly killing people, and targeting groups of 3 to force their core role, since not having a core role, means they are affectively 1-shot...
